1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name; and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over the years from present - " - '35 ' - unusual circumstances surrounding the body - a wonderment - '30 - yes - again a disappointment, and yet a real hope - '23 - yes - never appreciated fully - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. We have the records here of that entity now known as [1823].

4. Not that the entity feels this, yet very few have ever appreciated the innate abilities of this entity - irrespective of the urges and the circumstances materially that have arisen, that have brought many questioning periods, many disappointments and many periods of the application of the entity towards things, conditions and circumstances.

5. Too easily (for the earthly sojourns have been few) do individual personalities play upon the beautiful ideas and ideals of the entity, oft to the entity's MATERIAL discouragement.

6. Oft has been the experience of where, in the material ways, the entity has ALMOST succeeded in making an unusual material success; and yet these have broken down oft in a manner to become discouraging materially to the entity.

7. And without the high ideals, and without the appreciation the entity has for those things that have aroused, and do arouse, especially in a musical way, the better emotions in the lives and experiences of individuals, oft would the

1823-1 Page 2

entity have given up in disgust - or in defeat.

8. Hence we find these things or conditions innate and manifested in the entity's inner self - but irrespective of the application the entity has made of same:

9. An appreciation of unseen forces and influences, especially of that which has dealt with the emotions which have been and may be aroused in the minds and hearts of individuals, or of groups, or of masses - whether under a mental strain or an urge from overzealousness in patriotic manners, or from an exaltation of those giving expression of themselves.

10. In choosing the experiences to be given of this entity through the astrological as well as the material sojourns (that are few), these are chosen with the desire to make the application of self's knowledge, self's abilities, self's weaknesses, self's shortcomings, self's virtues, self's faults, such that greater peace and harmony may yet in this sojourn become a part of the experience of this entity now called [1823].

11. From the astrological aspects we find again and again Venus with Jupiter, and with Uranus, becoming the environ of the entity. For its purpose, its innate desire is for not merely the emotions that arouse an appreciation of the beautiful in all its forms, but for the purposes of same that are innate within the inner being of the entity.

12. That the material expressions of these have brought and do bring disappointments, discouragements, is a lack of the entity's appreciation of the LITTLE things in the lives of others - and the too often listening to those who are so egotistical within themselves as to lack the appreciation of their beauties [duties?], their obligations to others.

13. These should be corrected more; not becoming hardhearted but rather knowing the law as pertains to the mental and spiritual truths that are the motivative influence in the lives of others as ye associate with them.

14. Know that if the expression of others is only of the self, or for the gratifying of the individual vanity, or the individual ego, they as individuals are NOT to be trusted (and a very large not!) - in material things.

15. The Jupiterian influences that are benevolent as well as adverse bring the innate and manifested forces of the entity dealing with masses, classes, and especially those who may be or are or can be talented in any given directions.

16. The Uranian influence brings EXTREMES in both of these experiences of contact with individuals, as has been and is manifested; those that are good, those that are bad.

17. Is it any wonder, then, that the activities and the

1823-1 Page 3

fields of endeavor, in a material sense, are such that the entity would attempt to gain through the assistance to the efforts of others for the masses to appreciate the abilities of others in things that are of artistic natures, artistic temperaments, or as to musical abilities in all the various phases?

18. For the entity having the appreciation of same, innately and manifestedly, it feels the urge to have others gain a greater appreciation of same.

19. Yet the greater need in the ENTITY is to know the laws. And as has been indicated, in SELF practice, apply those very tenets and truths as being a necessary adjunct to the entity in its dealings with others.

20. Know, as has been given, it is not by chance that any soul, any individual, any group, any organization, comes under the influence of thy personality and individuality.

21. Hence it is a constant, not a judgement ON individuals, but rather the applying of the spiritual and mental laws as to the activities in the relationships that must come in such contacts.

22. For refusals or no's, if properly given, oft urge others to apply themselves in greater measures than to attempt to tweedle [wheedle] same into giving expression that only magnifies their own ego to their eventual undoing - and becoming a loss materially to thee.

23. As to the appearances in the earth plane, these - as indicated - have been few and far, in relationships to many the entity contacts. Hence the inability of the great numbers to appreciate this entity. Hence it makes at times a great loneliness in the material experience of the entity.

24. But know that the spiritual laws apply in self also, and let thy prayer ever be:

25. LORD, LET ME FILL THAT PLACE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS AS THOU HAST GIVEN AND DO GIVE THE OPPORTUNITY, IN SUCH MEASURES AND SUCH MANNERS THAT OTHERS MAY COME TO KNOW THAT LIFE IS OF THEE, IN THEE.

26. And as ye give, so may ye receive. For with what measure ye mete, so is it measured to thee again. Make this clear in the experience of all.

27. As to the appearances:

28. Before this we find the entity was in the Grecian land; beautiful of body, of mind, of abilities to aid many in gaining an appreciation of music as was depicted by those in the pastoral scenes, by those who would put into marble and into paintings their appreciation of such beauties in those early periods.

29. All such came under the influence of the entity - as

1823-1 Page 4

one that counseled with the young, the old. Many who became of great note through the activities in later experiences derived their inspiration from the very efforts of this entity, as Cercel.

30. The entity gained within; while without - much as may be experienced in the present - oft, oft in the throes of despondency, in doubts and fears; yet pressing ever onward, as should be in the present experience, to arouse more and more in the hearts and minds of others the beauties of nature, the beauty of giving those expressions in any form or manner in which the BEST that is in the heart and soul of others may give forth to arouse that consciousness of the divine that must ever be the impelling influence.

31. Before that we find the entity was in the Atlantean land, during those periods when there was the breaking up of the land.

32. And the entity was young in years, with the transplanting of self bodily with others into that known as the Egyptian experience.

33. In that land the entity came to be the interpreter of the musical preludes for those activities to which individuals would give themselves in the better reconstruction of the land in all of its phases of mental, material and spiritual endeavor.

34. Such were the activities throughout the entity's sojourn there, in the name Iil-enen.

35. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:

36. First, analyze self. Know that there must be the ability to laugh under the most straining circumstance. There must be the ability to see the sublime as well as the ridiculous.

37. In those fields of service in which the entity is engaged are the channels through which the entity may give the most, if those shortcomings and inclinations are met as indicated - the inclinations to be outdone, or to be too lenient. Such activities will bring not only the expressions through travel as desired, but through the arousing in the minds, in the experiences, in the associations of classes and masses, and appreciation of the beautiful in music, in art, in ALL its phases in the experiences of man in a very TROUBLED world.

38. Ready for questions.

39. (Q) Please advise me as to what type of artists I should work with. (A) Those that depict the emotions of man under all varying circumstances. Those that adhere the more to the classic

1823-1 Page 5

and semi-classic, as it is called in the present.

40. (Q) Are there any special individuals or groups that I should seek contact with? (A) These, as we have indicated, are to be the choice of the entity - by the rules according to the natural attraction. If the laws are applied as indicated - which in this sense the law means love - they will be naturally attracted. That which is pastoral in its setting is the more appealing and them most far-reaching.

41. (Q) Would it be wise for me to work with special individuals or groups, or act as general clearing bureau for artists? (A) Act as general - in all of its phases. The appreciations of same.

42. (Q) Should I undertake expansion of my booking bureau by raising capital, if so through what associations? (A) This after the beginning of the next seasons - or in the latter portion of this year - would be very well. But use not only the suggestions as to those truths indicated, but cultivate them in thy daily contacts; and we will find greater promise not only of material success but of associations, of activities, and of the correct organizations and groups, and individuals being attracted to the entity.
