Time of Reading 3:40 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1840].
3. As we find, the disturbing conditions arise primarily from a plethora condition which exists in the ascending colon; though the effect is upon the heart as related to the liver circulation; thus clogging the system, causing the shortness of breath, the weakness that occurs, and the lack of the ability to build through the assimilating forces in the system.
4. These, then, cause the disturbances through the digestive forces of the body, through the nerve forces of the system, and the inability for the proper activities through the organs of the system.
5. We find that these conditions may be materially aided through the high colonic irrigations, GRADUALLY given; not too much in the beginning as to overtax the system.
6. And it may become necessary that, under the direction of a physician, there be the stimulations as from the Nitroglycerine tablets given. Yet if the reductions are gradually made of the condition in the colon, we find that there may be brought gradually the ability of the body to assimilate and - removing the pressures upon the other portions of the system - allow for normal activity through the conditions in the circulatory forces between heart, liver and lungs.
7. The colonics would be given at least every third day, until there is a relieving of the pressure and the shortness of breath.
8. For such high irrigations it is better that there be used the saline solutions and an oil used in the last waters,

such as the alkaline agar.
9. As to the diet - this should be rather of those things that would be easily assimilated, and that tend to make for body- strengthening as to circulatory forces without affecting the lower hepatic circulation.
10. Hence refrain from potatoes in any form, from macaroni or cheese. But have rather vegetables, both the raw and the cooked - these cooked in their own juices. Also fowl or fish may be taken, in not too great a quantity. NEVER any fried foods.
11. Do these as we find - we may bring the better forces for the body.
12. And let the mental attitudes of self be tended towards the use of the opportunities, the associations and activities for spiritual, for mental enlightenment and purification.
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) What physician would be suggested? (A) Anyone who has used or does use such as may be given in this way and manner. A great deal of mucous will be found, through the gradual removing of the fecal forces; but do not remove too heavily.
15. (Q) Can or should these colonics be given at home? (A) At least the first six should be given by a professional one.
16. (Q) Is Dr. Frischkorn alright? (A) If Dr. Frischkorn does it rather than his assistant or attendant! As we find, as for the better - would be the attendant with Parker. Be very precautious, especially in the first three of the irrigations given. By the third treatment we find that a great deal of this pressure should be relieved, see?
17. (Q) What is cause of lump in throat? (A) The obstructed circulation through all portions of the thorax and lungs, owing to those disturbances in the areas between heart, liver and lungs.
18. (Q) What causes pain in stomach and chest? (A) The pressure upon not only the walls of the colon but the engorgement there, as a pressure upon the organs of the intestinal system.
19. (Q) Is the heart affected? (A) Sympathetically; and for such a LONG period that the CIRCULATION between the heart, the liver, the lungs is affected. Hence the necessity of watching closely by such a physician administering the stimulant as indicated, as needed.

Do these things, being mindful especially in the diet.
20. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions to be left with Dr. Parker, after he goes over the full Reading and makes his notes accordingly.) y.)
