Time of Reading ... Avenue, 10:50 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.
1. HLC: You will have before you the enquiring mind of [1849], of ..., New York City, N.Y., and the various opportunities and lines of activity which are open to her, especially in connection with the reducing cream which she desires to place on the market, and the affairs connected with opening her offices this fall. You will answer the questions which will be asked.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1849]; with those conditions, those circumstances, the environs, the propositions, the outlook.
3. As we find, negotiations have already been set in motion for the distribution of the reducing cream. As we find, this should be seriously considered. The conditions as surround- ing same have cleared, somewhat, since we have had those activities as respecting the desirability of such channels for outlets. We would consider that.
4. As for those conditions in which there is the desire to open the office - these as we find, through those activities that have been heretofore a part of the entity's experience, will offer channels through which the greater portions of the moneys would come for the opening of the office, or considering of the opening of same.
5. Of course, if there are to be the activities of the entity itself as respecting the manufacture for the distribution of properties, and the varieties of activities that are being or have been considered by the entity, then there would be quite a variation as to the type of place selected, etc. For these activities would require a different character of place.
6. These as we find, though, only need the care and attention of those conditions that are presenting themselves almost constantly.
7. Not that the body should be OVERANXIOUS; neither should it just wait without any interest or activity in same; but
1849-3 Page 2
not OVERANXIOUS. For the overanxiousness ALMOST made for a disturbance as would have prevented the better outlet for the distribution of the cream. As has been indicated, these have been clarified, and only need that there be the threads of same brought to a conclusion in the present.
8. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) In a previous Reading it was indicated that this reducing cream was not ready to be placed on the market. What is necessary to be done now to the cream to make it ready for marketing? (A) It isn't something to be done to the cream! The individuals who were considering the disposal or disposition of same, they were not ready with their clarifying of their associations and connections; and as indicated they are in better position in the present.
10. (Q) Are there any more specific suggestions regarding the opening of the office in the fall? (A) As has been indicated, this must be dependent entirely upon how much there is to be the activity of the body in connection with the manufacture or distribution of the cream. These would depend, then - the character of place, the position, the needs for the activities of the body, - upon this conclusion, see?
11. (Q) What would you advise as the best and quickest way of securing the funds to open my office Sept. 1st? (A) As has been indicated, these have already been set in motion; and through these channels the greater portions of that needed may be had. But don't be too anxious, until there is settled or determined just what is to be done with the distribution of the cream, as well as other properties that should or may be a part of the entity's experience here.
12. (Q) Would you advise the entity to contact [1151]? (A) This has been advised, and it would be well; but here, again, do not be too overanxious. Merely indicate by note that it is understood there was to be a meeting, and that the desire is to meet and discuss the information which has been received. This may be done by letter, and addressed to both Mr. [1151] and Mrs. (his wife) [1158].
13. (Q) Are there any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) There are many other products that the body has had in mind. The making of a specific or definite perfume or the like for the individual would be most advisable to consider.
14. (Q) What should be done about this? (A) Just consider it, and just know to make inquiries, make

connections and associations! Make individual lotions for such, see? Choose the individual - make something that would be expressive of the individual, see? Then this will only needs be developed and expanded to meet the needs of various individuals, see? And the remunerations for these would be not exorbitant, but so much variation from that ordinarily indicated, and still so little of that as has been seriously considered from a metaphysical or spiritual angle - in this country.
15. (Q) What lines of study would be best for the entity in this direction? (A) Of how to make it!
16. (Q) Any other suggestions at this time? (A) Keep closer to the spiritual sides, and the metaphysical activities - not so much for the purely material manifestations, but for the awakening of the abilities of the entity as to that which may bring the greater joy and harmony in the experiences of others.
