Born December 1, 1912, Sunday at 8 P. M. EST., Brooklyn, N.Y. Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y.
1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1859].
3. In giving the interpretations, we find the unusual quantity - if not quality - here - in the urges that arise from the experiences of the entity in the material sojourns.
4. Thus the astrological urges might be said to belie those emotions which arise in the experience of this entity.
5. As we find, the records indicate a seal that would give the expression: A red background or shield, upon which there would be a white flag, but with the battle ax on the flag, with the lion on the ax - but a nice standard as to strength to maintain same!
6. These become emblematical in the activities of the entity through the material sojourns.
7. While there are some astrological aspects that become material manifestations, these in the main become as naught, according to the expression ordinarily given to such.
8. Yet we find these influences from same applicable with this entity - but irrespective of what the entity does about same:
9. While the mental abilities and the intuitive forces are well, do not become too self-sufficient.
10. Efficiency is wonderful, if it is tempered with truth, integrity, and - most of all - humbleness.

11. The entity dislikes to be criticized, and dislikes criticizing almost as much. But constructive criticism given or taken is helpful. Remember this.
12. As to the activities from the material sojourns - there have been periods when they were so fast as it were as to leave or remove the astrological aspects.
13. Hence the emotions, the intuitive, the material application, the material expression sought becomes so much a part of the entity, it is well that there be given a few influences that must be kept not as mere sayings, as would be proverbially said as proverbs, nor as little lesson texts, but as things to be LIVED!
14. For, know: The experiences in the material sojourn is not by change - but God having willed that man should not perish - not a soul - has provided a way through which each soul may come to know its true relationship to the Creative Forces by the manner of manifestation in materiality to the fellow man.
15. Hence know thy ideal - not merely mental or material but, most of all, spiritual. Know in what ye believe. Know who is its author. Know that its author should be able to keep that committed unto Him against any experience.
16. Hence the ideal must be founded upon spirituality in the material applications of same, if there may indeed come knowledge - rather than those influences or forces that are mere emotional urges.
17. As to the appearances in the earth, then - a few only are given; for these in the next seven years will be the leading influences. But in judging, in choosing thy activities in thy relationships to thy fellow man, to conditions, to things, to experiences, to the relationships with others, choose in the light of that which has been indicated should be the standard of each soul that would make itself one with the Creative Forces.
18. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods when there were disturbing forces of activities among all the peoples of the land - or in that period known as the American Revolution, when the dwelling places of the entity as a youth were occupied first by the Continental and then by the British - or Howe.
19. In that experience the entity was torn between those influences and forces in which there were choices to be made that told of the indwelling of the influences as to the mental feelings and that as expedient owing to the material conditions.
20. Hence we find it was a period of unrest, yet in the

latter portion of that experience, in those periods when the entity acted as the teacher, in the name Horace Mann, the entity brought the establishing of the principles and factors that became and are as an influence in the lives of the many - as to principles and tenets and experiences.
21. As to the application of same in the present - the dislike, as indicated, of giving or receiving criticism; but abilities to choose to work out from LOWLY experiences that which is ideal in material as well as in spiritual things, - IF SELF and the aggrandizing of self is left out!
22. There will in all probability come a great deal, or at least more than sufficient of this world's goods to the entity, and not by work, but left by another.
23. Be true to the trust that is put in thee; else thy last days in the experience may become indeed nightmares.
24. Before that we find, among those having the greater influence, the entity was in the Grecian activity when there were those attempts to turn the actions, speeches, restoration of ideas into stage or plays.
25. There we find the entity was among those who were of the Grecian school but working with and influencing much the Roman influence. It was during the periods when there was a great deal of anxiety as to the persecutions wrought, or in the days of Nero.
26. We find the entity there was torn in principles and in abilities, yet giving ways to moments of expression for expedience as to the preservation of its own material surroundings; hating self for much of that done through that experience.
27. Only in the latter portion of the experience were there the spiritual influences prompting the greater activities, when there was the giving away to all of those desires for self-praise or self-activity for material gains.
28. The name then was Gueier.
29. In the present experiences from that sojourn we will find the abilities to act, to record, to write, to depict, to minimize or to expand upon an incident are within the activities of the entity mentally.
30. Be true to self in all applications of these experiences, and the abilities in this direction.
31. Before that we find the entity was in the earth during the days when the Master walked in the land, and especially in those activities when there was the enunciation, the announcing at those periods in the Bethlehem hills.
32. For the entity, though a musician, a dreamer, was a herdsman - and among those who heard the singing, as well as the lights - and was among those who viewed what came to

pass in the stable in Bethlehem.
33. In the experience then the entity was known as Joel, - elderly in that period when this came about, yet so impressed with the ability for song, poetry, the telling of those experiences, that it becomes as it were a part of the activity.
34. And there the entity gained, gained, gained.
35. Would that there would be more of this manifested, as it becomes more and more a part of the experience of the entity in its present sojourn.
36. Be ye a servant of the Most High, if ye would be the greatest among thy brethren, thy associates, thy fellow man.
37. Before that we find the entity was in the Atlantean land, during those periods particularly when there was the exodus from Atlantis owing to the foretelling or foreordination of those activities which were bringing about the destructive forces.
38. There we find the entity was among those who were not only in what is now known as the Yucatan land, but also the Pyrenees and the Egyptian.
39. For the manners of transportation, the manners of communications through the airships of that period were such as Ezekiel described of a much later date.
40. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then:
41. These are according to the application of that which is best within. Use the talents thou hast, and these may be multiplied some thirty, some sixty, some an hundredfold.
42. But look first within self, and in those fields of activity in which greater expression may be given by verse or song, or the acting of same in such a manner as to recall to others their true relationship to the Creative Forces. In such a manner and through such may the greater blessings mentally, materially, spiritually come in this experience for this entity.
43. Ready for questions.
44. (Q) Will you explain to me my strong attraction for the life and work of the Master Jesus, in his earthly sojourn? (A) As indicated from that visioned, and the announcing of the herald angels.
45. (Q) I should truly like to know why I have always had an uncanny feeling that I was a great poet in the last one or two incarnations. Who was I? (A) As has been indicated.
46. (Q) What is the true significance of a visit in childhood from a member of the White Brotherhood, and later of revelations and mystic experiences? (A) Is it any wonder, from the experiences through which

the entity as Joel passed? Then there needs be that ye turn to that within self, as the promise is that He will meet thee - that ye may indeed know - thy body is the temple in which He may meet thee. Meet Him there.
47. (Q) How may I safely and consciously develop my spiritual and psychic powers of understanding, wisdom, and enlightenment, for the best service to the race in the present lifetime? (A) As has been indicated, in studying the ideal that is set in Him and in the ministering of same to those ye meet day by day. He that is the greatest is the servant of all.
48. (Q) Will you explain the cause for relationship in present embodiments, with the following people? Ruth [...]. (A) This should be paralleled with the experiences or sojourns of the entity in the earth.
49. (Q) [1152]. (A) Close association especially in the Palestine experience.
50. (Q) Should we continue and complete the work we are doing together? (A) Very good.
51. (Q) The entity's family: What is the cause of apparent antagonism and how may an adjustment be made? (A) Misunderstanding. Only in knowing that as He taught, as to "Who is my mother, my brother, my sister? He that doeth the will of the Father, the same is my mother, my brother, my sister." Then, make not thyself a judge - but live the life that ye would have them live if conditions were reversed.
