1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces, giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from present - " - '36 - disturbances - '31 and '30 - yes - anxious - '12 - yes, beginning of the change - '09 - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now called [1863].

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, many of those urges that are latent as we find have been submerged in the youth; yet there has been, and may be throughout this experience, a development for the entity towards those things, conditions of a material, mental and spiritual nature.

5. For the entity is among those who, though not making a great parade, has been relied upon by others, in the associations. and seldom has the entity failed in accomplishing that which was set before the entity as a task, as a duty, or an obligation.

6. Hence a great influence has gone out, in the lives and in the experiences of those who have come in contact with the entity in the last period or three cycles of experience. And if those attitudes and activities are kept in that way and manner as has been determined, the entity may expect to carry through a development throughout this experience. Though the way may have appeared slow and plodding, the entity has accomplished and may yet accomplish a great deal

1863-1 Page 2

within the experience of those about self that will make for building towards spiritual, mental and material development.

7. That intent and purpose to be true to the obligations, to rely upon others, has made and does make such activities as to invite confidences. And while there is the desire for praise, the desire for those experiences of affection, those experiences of being appreciated, do not let those who speak idle words to gain the confidence become too great a factor in these latter periods of activity.

8. In giving the astrological aspects, these as indicated through the last three cycles have been such as to make for little of an influence - save in a very general way and manner.

9. As indicated from Jupiter - one benevolent in its ideals, and asking and giving all it asks of others. Benevolent meaning not merely in a financial way only, for there is the body-mental and spiritual, just as the body-material, and these are as much a portion - and are one; hence should always be considered as such.

10. Know thy ideal in the material, in the mental, as well as in the spiritual. Know that whether it is mental or material, its foundation - if it is to be lasting - must be from a spiritual import. That ye sow, that ye reap; as ye do it unto the least of thy brethren ye do it unto thy Maker.

11. The Jupiterian influence makes for the abilities as a leader, as a director in departmental activities or associations - as dealing with things having to do with the arousing of emotions in the experiences of others.

12. Hence the associations with the masses, but in an individual way and manner.

13. And the abilities to see or vision that which is repellent as well as that which is to arouse the greater activity in the emotional as well as the better sources in the mental and material, are well balanced in the experience of this entity.

14. As to the sojourns in the earth - while not a great many in numbers, these have been quite varied, yet pointing to influences of an affluence that has been and is a part of the entity's experience in the present.

15. Before this we find the entity was in the period of the early settlings in the land of the present sojourn. We find the entity was among the tradespeople, that had to do especially with those things that dealt with conveniences for the home, and of the nature pertaining to things civic as well as of a state and city nature.

16. Hence as indicated, that ability as a politician - the

1863-1 Page 3

desire in the early youth to be engaged in such, which has been submerged to duties and things for the natural development of sources and resources of activity in its associations with others.

17. Yet these directions and these abilities are latent within the very activity of the entity. Hence listen well in all of thy meetings with superiors or those who work with and direct the policies of such activities; for in that way and manner may the entity find that those experiences in that sojourn, as Lemuel Lennen, make for the increasing in thoughts and purposes and activities in its present associations and surroundings.

18. Not that it should be overly forward, but there are ideas and there are ideals. Ideals are of a spiritual nature that rest upon the general purposes of spiritual activity - that is, the seed sown will bring its fruit in due season. This in its full analysis is to be the basis of the activities.

19. For if there are hates, if there are jealousies, if there are those activities to get ahead or to undermine, these must eventually turn upon the individuals who apply such.

20. Those that give honest labor for honest purpose, for constructive influences of every nature, bring their reward in the fruit of those things that are of development and advancement in every association and activity.

21. Before that we find the entity was in the promised land during those activities of the return from the Persian or the Chaldean land.

22. There we find the entity was among those who were the builders in the city; making the closer associations or arrangements with the workers, the laborers, as well as for the supply of materials.

23. Hence those things pertaining to building of any nature, whether in cloths or furniture or the recreations for activities of others, will become a part of the entity's experience.

24. The name then was Eleab.

25. The application of self then was under the direction of Zerubbabel and Ezra and Nehemiah, in which there were the needs for the activity in the material world coordinant and cooperative with the purposes in the spiritual atmosphere, the spiritual purposes.

26. And so must these be applied in the activities in the present.

27. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, now called, during those periods of reconstruction after the

1863-1 Page 4

rebellious conditions from the activities of Araaraart, the Priest and the peoples who came from other lands.

28. There we find the entity was among those who were put as it were in command of the builders and the supplying of furnishings; and especially those things of the oriental nature - whether in furniture or furnishings or supplies for the home - all become a part of the entity's experience - and a judge may the entity become in those things that not only wear well but that bear upon the emotions and activities of individuals in their associations with same.

29. The name then was El-Ti-En.

30. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:

31. First - know what is thy ideal, and that it is founded in that which is a living force; and that it will keep those who engage in same in those fields of activity in which constructive forces of every nature are brought to bear upon all concerned.

32. Studying to show thyself approved unto thy Maker, rightly divining the words of truth, keep self in such a manner as to keep in all good conscience. Never act towards an individual or an organization, or group, in any manner in which thy conscience maketh for disturbing influence in thy association.

33. No questions marks, then, after thy activities; and these will bring to thy experience, through this sojourn, that peace, that harmony, that comes from the purposes and the desires being in accord with that Creative Force which would aid all who seek.

34. For as the promise has been, "If ye will be my children, I will be thy God."

35. Act, then, as if ye were (for ye are) the offspring of a LIVING God! And thus be toward thy fellow man in every phase of they activities and endeavors. For as ye do it unto the least, ye do it to thy Maker.

36. Ready for questions.

37. (Q) I have been in my present position nearly twenty-four years. What are the prospects of my continuing in this position? (A) Continue so long as the purposes and activities are in line with those things indicated. And ye may strengthen same by those constructive suggestions along every line in thy daily or weekly conferences.

38. (Q) Will my financial condition improve or otherwise? (A) Will improve as the years come.

39. (Q) I will value advice on any future business moves. (A) As indicated, use that in hand ye have from day to day

1863-1 Page 5

in all good conscience, and in the way that there can never be a question mark in thine own mind, or from thine associates.

40. (Q) One of my assistants is a young lady whom I have been training for about two years with very satisfactory results. She has become a valuable assistant that I would dislike to lose. Could you tell me how long I will be able to retain her or if she will be apt to change to a position which will be more to her advantage? (A) Offer the advantages there! For as ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them. If it is with that attitude, with that purpose that ye conduct thyself and thy relationships, then these associations may be kept in that manner which will be for the greater development - whether together or separate in thy activities.

41. (Q) Am I doing anything which I will later regret and which will upset my future peace of mind? (A) This can only be governed by that which is thy ideal. Who is to judge? Rather thine self. Choose thou as they of old oft said, "Let others do as they will or may, but as for me and my house, we will serve a LIVING God."

42. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " " [257] " [257]
