Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1873].

3. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the normal physical and mental functioning in this body.

4. These as we find affect primarily the nervous system of the body, but have been of long standing, and have gradually grown to be deflections in which these there is now a disturbance in the coordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal system.

5. Thus we find that such reflexes are caused as to prevent the normal reflex between the reasoning forces and the physical adjuncts to the normal reactions.

6. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1873] we are speaking of:

7. First, in the blood supply - this as we find indicates those conditions which have long existed in the structural portions of the physical body, that have caused nerve reflexes such that - for a long period - a deflection has caused the inactivity between the sympathetic or vegetative nervous system and the cerebrospinal.

8. This as we find exists in the lumbar axis. Not sufficient has this ever been as to cause other than, at periods, a distressed feeling through the physical portions of the body; but a deflection in those areas from which the pineal receives its impulse, from the changes in the cerebrospinal to the sensory deflections.

9. There have been periods when more of the disturbance has been to the sensory organism - as to taste, hearing, feeling, even at times speech. This has gradually caused

1873-1 Page 2

the deflection in the impulses to portions of the flow of impulse of nerves through the sympathetic system; NOW involving the activity in the whole spinal cord itself.

10. This conditions has expressed itself in the fear of those things that arise from the imaginative system; but that find expression in the sensory system; as the fear of seeing, hearing or having impressions of being possessed, pursued, or such activities.

11. These become, as indicated, conditions arising, then, in the present, in the MENTAL system, FROM a PHYSICAL condition long existent in the physical or structural portion of the body.

12. The blood supply indicates this variation, in the amount of the leucocyte plasm in the blood stream, as it also is implied in the MANNER of the PULSATION - as this becomes irregular, flighty at times, very low in some periods, very fast and very rapid or very heavy in others.

13. In the nerve forces - as we have indicated - these are the SOURCES, the causes, from the physical angle. And these act in and through those areas that have been particularly indicated; PRODUCING at times some disturbance or fullness in the back of neck, in the head, through the shoulders, as well as those times when there are periods of exhaustion and the deflective of the activity of constructive forces in the thinking.

14. At such periods the entity becomes as one that berates self, rather than others or conditions, or circumstances.

15. Hence it has produced a form of obsession in which self is at all times berated.

16. In the functioning of the organs as related to these, - these as we find - as through the periods of change, the periods when creative activities or influences change - have had little or nothing to do with the normal physical activities.

17. And there should never be the impression or feeling (for others) that this is in ANY WAY a hereditary or prenatal condition, or one that would produce inclinations or weaknesses, or even tendencies in the lives or activities of others - UNLESS the mental selves of such individuals were to dwell upon same.

18. As to the activities in the present - these we find respond very much to those impressions that are made by the associations or activities about the body.

19. There are periods, of course, under such, when there is little appetite - others when there apparently is NO disturbance in such directions.

20. At periods there is restlessness, or insomnia - then

1873-1 Page 3

periods of great anxiety to all portions of the body; requiring that there be a physical reaction, or physical activity to prevent the body from the dwelling upon such disturbing conditions as arise - from the lesion which exists in the area as we have indicated, AFFECTING the brush end of the cerebrospinal system and producing incoordination between sympathetic and the cerebrospinal.

21. As we find, if there is consistent and persistent application, these conditions may be gradually aided.

22. First - let there be CONSTRUCTIVE thoughts ABOUT the body, and with all associated with the body.

23. Then, we would begin with adjustments - not chiropractically but osteopathically - of the coccyx, the 4th lumbar, the 9th dorsal, and COORDINATING the other portions of the cerebrospinal centers with the corrections made there.

24. These corrections should be done gradually, to be sure, - due to the long standing nature of the condition.

25. Hence this will require that there be the RELAXING of the body first with Wet Heat, before any adjustment or manipulation is administered. For such relaxation we would use the heavy toweling or the like, and THEN the application of the very lowest form of electrical forces as from the BODY itself! NOT those that are created outside of the body [Shock treatments, etc.], but by the attaching of what is known as the Radio-Active Appliance to the body for thirty to forty minutes, during the time the applications of the Wet Heat are made.

26. THEN the adjustments may be much more easily made. They will not be easy - for it will require some several people.

27. The Radio-Active Appliance would be used only twice a week, you see - just before those periods when the adjustments are to be made. This is to quiet the body, and the attachments would be to the extremities, to be sure; and the same anode or plate attached first each time - that is; have one anode painted red or marked with a red string, so that it may be KNOWN to be the one to be attached first, - for the plate attached first BECOMES the positive, you see, while the last attached becomes the negative. Hence:

28. At the first treatment, attach the plate FIRST that comes from the red pole, to the RIGHT WRIST; while the other plate, coming from the black pole, would be attached last, to the LEFT ANKLE.

29. At the second treatment, FIRST attachment (from the red pole) would be to the LEFT WRIST, while the LAST attachment (from the black pole) would be to the RIGHT ANKLE.

30. At the third treatment, make the FIRST attachment to the

1873-1 Page 4

LEFT ANKLE, the LAST attachment to the RIGHT WRIST.

31. At the fourth treatment, make the FIRST attachment to the RIGHT ANKLE, the LAST attachment to the LEFT WRIST.

32. Then, at the fifth treatment, commence over; alternating the attachments each time in the manner indicated.

33. All of these applications would be made twice each week, you see; the Wet Heat to relax the body, and while the hot towels are being applied to the lower portion of the cerebrospinal system, attach the Appliance for thirty to forty minutes as indicated; THEN make the adjustments, gradually, in the manner indicated.

34. Continue these about twice a week for at least three to five weeks - rest then from these for about three weeks, - and then have another series of three to five weeks.

35. During the rest period BETWEEN the two series of adjustments and Radio-Active treatments - we would, at home, use each day for thirty minutes the low electrical forces that are static in nature, carrying to the body the low vibratory forces of Gold - in the proportions of one grain Chloride of Gold to each ounce of Distilled Water used in such an Appliance. This would be that called the Wet Cell Appliance, you see - carrying the Solution of Chloride of Gold. The attachments would be made as follows:

36. The small copper plate would be attached to the 4th lumbar, while the larger nickel plate - through which the Gold Solution passes - would be attached to the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus. These attachments would be made each day for thirty minutes, throughout the three-week rest period from the adjustments and the other vibratory forces.

37. Each evening FOLLOWING the use of the Wet Cell Appliance, massage the body GENTLY - down the whole length of the cerebrospinal system - with Cocoa Butter - as a food for the respiratory and perspiratory system, to be absorbed in the areas along the cerebrospinal system. Massage from the head downward, circular motion, either side of the cerebrospinal system. Take sufficient time in doing this, not to be hurried through, but that there may be a quieting and a relaxing of the body.

38. Do these, and we will bring a much nearer normal force, and EVENTUALLY bring back to the activities of the body a balanced influence in the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system - SAVING the brain itself.

39. Ready for questions.

40. (Q) Should the Radio-Active Appliance be used by the one making the adjustments, or at home before going for the adjustments? (A) As indicated, this must be done just before the adjustments are attempted - or during the period when the

1873-1 Page 5

hot, wet applications are made to the lower portion of the cerebrospinal system.

41. (Q) Who would you suggest to make these corrections? (A) Such as Hudgins.

42. (Q) How can we get her to cooperate in the treatments? (A) Merely by the suggestions, and reading of the information, and the creating of the desire for a helpful influence about the body.

43. (Q) Would you advise letting her read the information which has just been given? (A) To be sure! As the applications are made - especially of the Radio-Active Appliance - let this be a part of the meditation of this body; it may be put in her own words or may be used as it is: FATHER, GOD! CREATE IN ME, MY BODY - NOW - THAT INFLUENCE, THAT FORCE, AS WILL BEST FIT MY BODY, MY MIND, FOR A BETTER SERVICE, A BETTER EXPRESSION OF THY LOVE TO THE CHILDREN OF MEN.

44. We are through for the present.
