1. GC: You will give the relation of the entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the entity and those records as made by same in the earthly experiences, and the influences the astrological sojourns may or may not have upon the activities of the entity in the present - dependent upon the manner of the will's application.

3. The activities in which the entity might best adapt itself in the present would be inclined to lead the mental self towards MATERIAL things, unless forewarned; yet if there will be the governing of the activities through spiritual purposes, spiritual intent in those fields of service and activity in which great may be the accomplishments of the entity, greater indeed will they be, - if they are thus tempered.

4. In giving the interpretation of the records then, as we find here for his entity, [1881] - these are given without respect to what the entity does about these innate forces that may be the culmination in the present from the sojourns thus far, and the application of same in respect to same.

5. We find that in those fields of activity that would be inclined to train or to aid the athlete, or in the field of hydrotherapy and physiotherapy, the entity might gain the greater PHYSICAL prowess itself - of which it may justly be proud, if developed in those directions. Also in such fields the entity may serve and give greater activity for material as well as social AND mental and spiritual gains, if tempered in the activities which have been indicated.

1881-1 Page 2

6. Also we would advise music as a hobby; not as an activity, but as that in which greater joy in its social, even in its marital relationships, may be accomplished.

7. In giving then the interpretations of the astrological as well as material sojourns, these are given with the desire to make this experience a helpful one in the present activity of this entity.

8. As from the astrological (those periods of activity during interims between sojourns of material service), we find Venus with Saturn, with Uranus and Jupiter become the ruling or IMPELLING influence.

9. Hence we find those harmonious instincts as to vibrations or attunements to expressions in musical activities, especially those that are of the reed variety - whether it be in the saxophone or in other reeded instruments. These, as we have indicated, would be a portion of the experience but should be rather that which is impelling as a bobby, rather than as a profession or the like.

10. As from the influence in Venus with Uranus and Neptune, we find water, as well as physical strength, physical beauty of body and the like; yet in these, as from the Uranian influence, we find the extremes; and these may be used as the stumbling points or as the building up for material AND financial gains.

11. Hence the warning - the preparation of self in such fields of service must ever be attended, as well as in practice in its relationships and associations with others, with spiritual imports; that is, with virtue, understanding; faith, hope, love, charity. LEARN, indeed, what these MEAN; and NOT depend wholly upon thy physical strength, thy ability to outwit others - for in so doing you undermine the best in you.

12. As to the former appearances, and their effect upon the impulses through the emotional self - as we have indicated, as in Venus, as in Uranus, as in Saturn - we find that the opposite sex becomes more and more attractive, and yet this - too - may become the stumbling-stone - as it did in some of those appearances in the material plane.

13. Being warned, be forearmed; and AGAIN that injunction, - let all such relations be tempered with "As we would that others should do to you, do ye even as to them." Treat every man's sister as ye would have THY sister treated! Treat every woman as ye think of thy mother!

14. As to the appearances, then:

15. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods when many were journeying to those westward lands during the Gold Rush

1881-1 Page 3

days - or in 1849.

16. The entity was among those young men who made the journey westward - in the name then Max Cohen; yet NOT with the intent or purpose to be active in the goldfinding, but rather as to match wits, as it were, with those who were seekers for the gold.

17. Thus in the journeys, as well as in the activities in that land, we find the entity matched wits, as it were; not as what would be termed the "out and out" gambler, no - too sure of self, rather staking others, rather using those abilities to attract others, or to offer places of amusement of every nature.

18. Thus the entity had not a lovely name - yet INNATELY the entity desired to be of a helpfulness to others, if such helpfulness increased the entity's ability in the material gains.

19. Music, characters of same, as well as physical strength were a part of those things sought by the entity during those periods.

20. The entity gained and lost, and gained and lost. Judged by the purely material, the individual was quite successful; but judged by the mental and spiritual, one oft alone, one not happy - no peace - for the shadows of former men and women oft disturbed the entity's last experiences.

21. Hence the warnings that those desires for physical strength, for beauty, for physical enjoyment, may be best materially gained by the application of self in those fields of service in which such may be BROUGHT into the experiences of OTHERS by the physical application of self for real physical, mental and spiritual advancement.

22. Before that we find the entity was in the Grecian-Roman experience, during those periods when there was great store laid by those who were preparing the Roman Baths, as well as the rubs that enabled individuals - who acted as the gladiator or such - to show their physical strength and prowess.

23. There we find the entity was among those who were active not only in such a professional manner, as would be termed today, but in training and in helping and in directing or aiding others.

24. Thus we find the entity gained in the experience, mentally and materially, as it made for the clean living, the corrective diets, the corrective activities in relationship to water, to air, to sun, and to the manners and ways of giving expression for physical strength.

25. The name then was Eben. In the present we find that a great deal of those activities that were a part of the

1881-1 Page 4

experience in that sojourn may be applied in the present, for physical, mental and spiritual as well as the material gains.

26. Before that we find the entity was in the days when there was the rebuilding of the walls of the Holy City, when Nehemiah and Ezra returned to the holy Land.

27. The entity was among those who were of the trumpeters about the wall, as well as for the announcing and calling of those for service as defenders as well as those that ministered justice to the peoples during those periods.

28. There we find the entity gained and lost, and gained; gained when the application of self was in those fields of service for the greater good of all; lost when in the activities self-indulgence and self-aggrandizement became the order of self's relationships with others.

29. Hence the warnings again that may be given regarding music, as well as its relationships especially to those of the opposite sex.

30. Before that we find the entity was in the land NOW known as or called the Egyptian, when there were those activities in the preparation of a people to be delivered under the leadership of the sons of Levi.

31. There we find the entity was among the relations and friends of the MOTHER of Moses and Aaron; and the entity - though among those who were in bondage - was raised to one as a leader in the exodus.

32. The entity there gained something of the purposes of creative forces with the children of men, using same in corrective fields - as Zephaniah; and yet in the wilderness turning same to self again - which brought destructive forces into the experience.

33. But lean ye heavily upon those tenets of old, and the voice which ye heard in the pronouncements throughout those experiences there.

34. The entity, of course, was not among those who reached the promised land, but knew of the faults, the fancies, as well as the judgements of those through that period of thirty odd years of journeying in the wilderness.

35. IN the present experience, turn again to those counsels in the application of thyself and thy abilities in the present day relationships with others.

36. As to that to which the entity may attain, and how:

37. It is well, as we have indicated, for the entity to study physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, in those schools of same; and SOON - for self, or in relationships with others - prepare to become active in such an experience. For through same may the entity find the greater joy, the greater peace,

1881-1 Page 5

- the abilities to make for a social as well as a financial success - IF these are tempered with spirituality.

38. Ready for questions.

39. (Q) Any special school you would suggest? (A) There are especially two, but choose - as, either the Brooklyn or any of those in the New York area - the Manhattan area. And these activities as we find will, in a little while equip the entity. Leave not off the music, but turn to the reeds; as an OUTLET, or as a hobby.

40. (Q) What city is best for a successful future? (A) This would be chosen according to the activities, and the sections in which the best may be given. As we find, it would be well to be South in the winter, North in the summer.
