1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development of the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now called [1885].
3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, A GREAT DEAL might be said for or against the entity, as to its application of abilities which are latent and manifested.
4. These interpretations are given with the desire, and hope, that this may be a helpful experience for the entity, and this enabling the entity to become - or to be - that which may bring the more helpful, hopeful, satisfying experiences; and thus fulfillthe purposes for which each soul enters a material sojourn.
5. The entity in its urges and its activities, its latent abilities, its influence and force, is not what may be termed an ordinary individual; yet this entity, what it does or what it does not do, might be used as an example of that as may be given through such information here, from the sources of the entity's records - or the akashic activities may be given as PROOF OF SAME. These are given, however, with the desire that these are given, however, with the desire that these may be a helpful force.
6. Urges latent and manifested arise from sojourns in astrological aspects. Not that a sojourn in Mercury, Mars, Venus, Uranus or Jupiter forces the entity to act in this or that manner - as a reaction to urges or opportunities, but rather it is as a training - just as the practice of much that is latent and manifested in the emotional life is from
1885-2 Page 2
the earthly sojourns of the entity. Because of its training, its environs, certain urges arise. So, from the astrological sojourns latent urges are manifested; just as in the material sojourns the application of self respecting latent and manifested urges brings the highly emotional nature.
7. Here we find an entity (in urges) almost a full Uranian. Hence we will find many contradictory emotions, many contradictory activities oft manifested in the experiences - mentally and materially.
8. We will find periods in the purely physical during which EVERYTHING will apparently work in a most harmonious way and manner, when EVERYTHING seems - as it might be termed "to come the entity's way." Yet there will be experiences when there is quite the reverse, when nothing - physical, mental, social or in any manner - apparently has that reaction desired by the body.
9. This will be found in business, in the social, home, economic, political, and all phases of the entity's experience. Yet the entity is capable of meeting all of these, and of making self not only affable and helpful through such experiences, not only for self but for all who may be associated, affiliated or active with the entity.
10. Also there are the abilities for accomplishments in any endeavor, any field of activity, if the entity will or can make up its mind to do so. Little the entity has desired, or may desire, that it may not attain to, if there will be setting of itself to accomplish that in its experience, and if it is willing to forego urges or other forces in its experience to accomplish just that.
11. Hence the entity is one who will find almost every phase of human experience of interest.
12. One who desires or likes to read a great deal.
13. One that is especially interested in all forms of outdoor sports, and interested in individuals who might or may accomplish any special feat or endeavor in such activities.
14. One who would make, does make, if it desires, a very good dancer.
15. One who may write about or meet individuals in any walk of life in such a way and manner as to have such influenced by self, and is able to accomplish same, if the desire is upon the part of the entity to do so.
16. These urges arise, as indicated, from both astrological sojourns and manifestations oft in the material plane.
17. Hence the entity is highly emotional; one often allowing the emotions or sentiments to run away with its better
1885-2 Page 3
judgements, unless it is thoroughly grounded in ideals, and not ideal but ideals.
18. One who finds that activities in any phase of endeavor requires that not only of judgement but sacrifice; not sacrifice of principle, but that there may be a more perfect understanding.
19. One who in its mental capacities may ever by a very good go-between. But do not allow self to be used as the cat's-paw for the idiosyncrasies of others who have not the appreciation of the real abilities or duties or obligations, or who have no ideals other than the satisfying of selfish emotions.
20. For, as the extremes are so a portion of the entity's experience, know that all phases of human relationships, human endeavors, must be taken into consideration. And do not become the extremist, as any well-rounded individual may, by allowing self to be drawn off in some particular emotion, some particular activity.
21. For - body, mind, soul - body, mind, spirit - physical, mental, spiritual - these are phases of individual experience. They each have their duties, their obligations, their limitations, their abilities, their desires, their hopes. But WILL - Will - with the spiritual influence which is the birthright of every soul, combined with material activity - may bring into the experience of self, of others, the fulfilling of those obligations, of duties, of love, of hope - yea, of fear - and eternal life.
22. For, as the entity is a good lover, it may be a good hater. As it may be a good doctor, it may be a very poor companion, a very poor advisor: yet there is the balance between these - if the ideals are set.
23. Know that an ideal is not as to what others may do for thee, but what ye may do for others. This applies in the spiritual relationship to Creative Forces or God, as well as in the mental relationship that is experienced by the abilities to become enrapt by a good story - as complied by any individual who may through his abilities mentally have wielded or put together a story - whether fiction, fact, history, or emotion or romance.
24. All of these are emotions. Do not confuse spiritually with emotions that haven't spiritual background or spiritual ending. Know there are times, as oft in thine own experience, when a way seemeth right unto a man (physical), but the end thereof is death.
25. So, the physical relationships - as also the mental - are to be founded in the spiritual or creative influence and force. For that which is not wholly good in its concept must
1885-2 Page 4
bring disintegration, or disappointment, or disorder.
26. Know, then, that all must be rather in hope, in love, in that which is creative in itself.
27. As to the appearances in the earth - these, as indicated, have been quite often and quite varied. All of these are not given, for they are not of special influence save under certain choices, certain environs.
28. Know that choice is may be the will, guided by the mental according to that which - in the consciousness of self - is an entity's ideal.
29. Before this, then, the entity was in the land when choices were being made the establishing of places and homes for the peoples of the land.
30. The entity was among the traders in what is now known as Chicago - then Fort Dearborn. The entity was active in dealing with the peoples of the north and west, as well as of the east and the south. Especially the entity adapted self to making for better social, economic and political interests (as would be termed according to an analysis in the present) being correlated.
31. Hence we find that the entity gained and lost; not always choosing correctly as to which side to take. But through the greater portion the entity gained, in that it brought helpfulness and hopefulness to many who were discouraged.
32. The name then as Beucus Omlson, being of the peoples who had come from the Norse land in those early experiences.
33. In the present, from that sojourn, we find that the entity is oft dissatisfied as to environs or surroundings; oft disturbed as to those things that would make for the better physical and mental relationships.
34. Yet, if the entity stops to think, to analyze, it will be seen - from the astrological experiences - that there are the abilities to choose.
35. Hence beware of becoming too morose, or too overconfident, through the periods when there is the lower ebb in the physical, mental and spiritual being.
36. Before that the entity was in the Norse land and German land, through those periods when there was the greater establishing and opening of lands in what is now a portion of the French and German land.
37. The entity then, as Bucuos Odel, came from the Norse land; and was active in taking from the soil, as well as from the vegetation, that which supplied or applied in healing arts for the peoples. And later much of this was able to be turned into what became a part of the chemical development in such.
1885-2 Page 5
38. Hence we find the entity's interest in the present in things pertaining to chemistry, as well as to the healing arts - from the mechanical standpoint and from the standpoint of helpful forces from nature's storehouse, - that are beneficial to the ills to which man is heir, from his environ or his disobedience to the laws of nature, or any form regarding the bodily functions that suffer under such laws.
39. For, as the entity experiences at times, there must be a law to EVERYTHING - spirit, mental, material. To be sure, there IS; but it is guided, guarded, watched over, and kept in accord with that which is the principle, the spirit, the SOUL, of the First Cause.
40. The entity gained in that sojourn as Bucuos Odel; yet in the present there are the longings for open places, forests, streams, heights and mountains and valleys: and for the unusual, the unseen; and to be alone; yet oft the desire to be in great hordes and hosts, and to lead groups and masses.
41. Before that the entity was in the Grecian land, during those periods when there was the developing and understanding of the body-beautiful - by exercise, by activity.
42. The entity was in the opposite sex during that experience, and gained in the abilities to induce - as well as to be helpful to - those who were to become mothers of the peoples in that period.
43. The entity gained by its ability to inject in the thoughts and minds and experiences of many the needs for the care of that channel through which souls, bodies, would be brought into a material experience.
44. Hence we find in the present the abilities to use such as counsel, as guidance, as mechanical applications, for the beneficial effects to the human body, as well as ESPECIALLY in those fields that would be directed towards obstetrics. This would be a special field to which the entity might apply itself and become MOST efficient in same.
45. The name then was Zeeun.
46. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods when the peoples from Atlantis were active in the experiences there.
47. The entity aided in the hospitalizations that were established, but was of the Atlanteans - and aided the Priest as well as the King in the establishing of better relationships with the Atlanteans; for the entity was young when entering the Egyptian land, the birth then being in the Atlantean land.
48. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and
1885-2 Page 6
that to which it may attain, and how:
49. Little has been said, as compared to what might be said, respecting the abilities, the failures, to which the entity might be heir in this experience. Yet if there will be the determining within self as to what it desires to do, and the analyzing of its purposes and desires, MUCH - MUCH - MUCH may be accomplished.
50. Know thy ideals, and that these must be founded upon spiritual concepts. Know the author of thy faith; not only by words but by that such has brought, does bring, into thy experience. Know as to the ability of the author of thy faith, and hope, to keep that ye may commit unto it through any experience.
51. For in any field of service to which ye may lend thyself, if ye may succeed - physically, mentally, spiritually. But the GREATER is in the aid, mechanically, spiritually, advisedly, to MOTHERS.
52. Ready for questions.
53. (Q) I am not satisfied where I am working and have a great desire to be somewhere else. Are there any suggestions as to where I would be happier and more successful than the present place of business? (A) As we find - anywhere along the waterways, as would have to do with the Mississippi or any of its branches, would be better than the present. But if there is the determination to succeed in the present environs, this - too - can be made a mental, a spiritual, a material success.
54. (Q) I am not contented within myself. Is there any way my surroundings could be changed to bring about a happier and more companionable life? (A) FIND self, and thy own ideal. Study that which has been indicated here. There is much good to be gained here, - but know thy relationship to thy Maker.
