1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1891].
3. A very unusual pattern is the life experience of this entity, as indicated here.
4. Without respect to what the entity has done or may do about same, we find these influences indicated from not merely the astrological sojourns but from the combination of these with the earthly sojourns also:
5. February is the most important month in meeting a mate, and the birthdate of the mate should be in that month.
6. Thursdays will be the more exceptional day, or acceptable day of the week.
7. As to stones - the ruby should be about the entity.
8. Colors for wearing apparel should be those that have a great deal of color in them.
9. In giving the interpretation of the records as we find them here, these - both from the astrological aspects and the earthly sojourns - are chosen with the desire to make this experience a helpful one in the present sojourn of the entity.
10. That the faults as well as the virtues may be indicated is that there may be the awareness of the entity's innate and manifested activities or emotions expressed to others in those directions.
11. Being forewarned, then be forearmed - using same
1891-1 Page 2
according to that thou hast set or may set as thy ideal.
12. Know that thy ideal is to be founded in that which is eternal - thus of a spiritual nature.
13. For those things that are temporal soon fade or pass away; and only that which is founded in righteousness is eternal.
14. Here we find influences from the astrological aspects of sojourns of the entity in such environs, rather than because of the position of a planet or constellation, or even the astronomical effect of the zodiacal signs.
15. Remember, these - the signs, and the experiences - are dependent upon the application of that as may be aroused as an emotion or as an influence in the experience.
16. For as we find, the entity is among those of the unusual - being capable of having a career as well as a home.
17. The entity is innately a home loving, home desiring body. Those associations, those affections that go to make up such are deeply-seated in the very innate forces, the very soul of the entity.
18. Yet the abilities as a critic, as a judge especially of books, writings, tracts or the like, are in the experience of the entity.
19. And if the entity gives self to such an analysis, much good may be accomplished in those directions; for the ability to bring to the consciousness or awareness of the many those influences form such writings or compilations as may be most helpful, most beneficial, most enlightening to the many, is innate within the entity.
20. Hence we find that the influences as indicated in Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Uranus, Saturn, all become a part both of the emotional and the innate or mental portion of the mind of the entity - love, hope and such emotions, as well as high mental abilities and judgements as for comparisons.
21. Yet there is the inclination for the entity to put too much emphasis on position or learning, from the material angle.
22. Hence the entity should cultivate a more democratic ideal; knowing that it is the dependence of sincerity and truth and consistency in the LIVES of those concerned that makes for the activities that may be helpful, or that may be transient or trash in the experiences of others.
23. Thus we would stress again that the entity analyze self, and know the own ideal. Not so much stress as to what others might do for thee, but the ideal manner as well in which ye would build a social career, a mental and active home, as well as the exercising of the abilities in what may
1891-1 Page 3
be called judgements or pointing out to others the good and the bad as might be gained by the individuals making the messages of writings of others a part of their individual experience.
24. Changing scenes of travel should also be a part of the entity's experience - for the influences from Saturn as well as Uranus in the experience would bring such changes. Also in the Uranian influence we find the extremes.
25. Know all sides of human experience by thy analyzing, by thy studying of same, observing the influence of this or that emotion, this or that tenet, as to the character of activities in play as well as labor for all of those stages of development in a changing world.
26. All of these may become channels and outlets through which the entity may not only gain for itself contentment, and find peace and harmony, but the entity may in so doing also give to others that which will enrich THEIR lives in hope, in kindness, in brotherly love, in patience.
27. For, as ye sow such seeds in the experience and lives of others, so will ye reap same in thine own experience.
28. Hence keep away from those things that cause contention, and WARN those wherein such may bring - from thine own observation, not only in a material world but the mental and spiritual also.
29. As indicated from the first premises, the appearances in the earth that are chosen or given here are rather of the unusual nature, and in quite a varying, quite a changing world.
30. Before this, then, we find the entity was in the land and place of the present nativity - that is, of the entrance into the experience in this sojourn; or in those experiences in Fort Dearborn as was called, with all of those periods of turmoil for the preservation of the lives and the purposes and aims and desires of the people, and those being fraught with hardships by those resistances.
31. Hence we find the entity was among those that during those sieges fled into what in now called the Pennsylvanian land.
32. Hence we will find that the characteristics of that called 'the city of brotherly love,' as well as the principles that were the foundation of that commonwealth, are an innate experience and as something deep in the experience of this entity.
33. A little of fear, a little of determination, and a little bit MORE of that wherein there is accredited power by position in the economic world (and more credit given there than should be), are in the present an influence from that
1891-1 Page 4
experience.
34. The name then was Maria Wethford. In the experience the entity gained, the entity lost - as the entity used its influence and its activity for the aiding or the training of others in their activities, as a teacher.
35. Hence in the present experience we find the entity with very definite ideas as to what instructor or instructress should do and be, and the manner in which they should conduct their activities with those they would impress.
36. This has been and is something that has been a part of the entity through this experience; thus providing a means or manner of expression as indicated in the first premise, as to those abilities for judgements as a critic of writings, of manuscripts, of such as may influence or tend to give recreation or that which is to be an important influence in the lives of others. These may be a part of the entity's activities in the present experience.
37. Before that we find the entity was in the Roman land, during those periods of the second and third Caesars.
38. There we find the entity was close to those who were in authority, yet learning and knowing of those activities in other lands, through the associations of portions of its family.
39. Hence we find the entity, as it were, halting between opinions of the day.
40. But if there will be an analysis of those activities that are so well expressed in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th chapters of Romans, the Epistle of Paul to the Romans, the entity may find a great deal that answers to a something innately within - as to its activities within and without groups during that particular experience.
41. We find the entity enjoying a position, yet giving away in much of this for those ideals that were a part of the entity's experience.
42. The name then was Thescolonica. In the experience the entity gained the more than in most of the sojourns in the earth.
43. As to the application of same in the present, the entity may find same indicated by the activities during those experiences - not merely as a member of a sect or a group that was criticized because of their position in the social life of a nation, but rather those tenets and principles that must permeate the life of ALL if there would be the continued development towards that which is so oft INAPTLY called civilization.
44. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian as well as the Persian experience, during that particular
1891-1 Page 5
period when there were the preparations for the distribution of the activities in the Egyptians' forces that influenced, that were to wield an influence upon the lives and activities of people in many nations, in many groups.
45. Then entity, in those activities in the Temple Beautiful, made for the preparation, not only as a dancer but as an interpreter of song in the spiritual realms of activities in the Persian land.
46. Things Persian, as commonly called, as well as the Egyptian, both have a benevolent or good effect, as well as bad - dependent upon what might be called the "mood" of the entity itself.
47. In that experience the entity found a great deal of turmoil, and NEVER quite content with that accomplished, or those tenets presented - for they were as influences in the experience.
48. Thus the entity has sought, and seeks, innately, for SELF-expression - the desire to accomplish something DEFINITE - that is of self's OWN making.
49. Let the I AM be manifested, but rather in HIM than in self.
50. The name then was She-Epth.
51. As to the abilities of the entity in the present:
52. As indicated - both a career and a home - they may be a part of the entity's experience, if desired or so chosen.
53. In the field of activity as a critic of books, of plays, of manuscripts, of tenets, of teachings, may be a channel through which the entity may give expression - as well as in the home.
54. It need not be stressed as to the necessity or the importance of building a home, and of home building, for - as is understood - this is the source of the hope of the world.
55. Ready for questions.
