Born October 31, 1887, in Joliet, Ill. Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Chicago, Illinois.
1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth's plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from present - " - '31 - some wonderments - '17 - anxieties - ", etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the entity here, and those records of same, of that entity now known as or called [1895].
4. We find rather an unusual entity in many ways and manners. At times the convictions and activities of the entity are not always understood.
5. Not that the entity is two-faced, or that it is inconsistent, but we find there is such a difference of opinions under varying emotions that there are those inclinations for the entity to be misunderstood.
6. Hence we find that for this entity the study of occult forces and psychic influences would be of a great deal of benefit to the entity in finding the answer to many of those problems and questions that innately and manifestedly are seeking an answer in this experience.
7. Then, in giving the interpretation of the records, these that are given are chosen with the desire to make the experience a helpful one in this present sojourn.
8. Hence it is well that there be given this entity, for its own interpretation, the premise from which such interpretation is drawn:
9. Each entity in the manifestations in life presents an
1895-1 Page 2
activity in which there are the expressions of all of what may be called the emotions from its own race consciousness, or environs and hereditary forces. Yet these are reached more by what the entity has done and does do respecting that it calls or holds as its ideal in its relationships to things, conditions and to its fellow man.
10. All of these at times, in their varying conditions, and from the varying emotions, bring to this entity questions to which the entity seeks the answer.
11. But each entity makes a record upon time and space, through the very activities of that stylus, the mind. And to be sure, irrespective of what an entity - as in this entity - holds as its ideal, its ideal is that judgement by and through which it makes its own choice.
12. Hence as these records or interpretations are given, it is the desire to give the entity a premise, and ideal, that it may answer to that search from within as to how to make this experience more worth while in this particular sojourn.
13. Then as we find, the experiences of the entity in the earth become an influence just as the environs in any one experience, just as it is true that what ye think ye become, - just as what ye consume for the physical produces such experience in thy physical and mental life as related to the ideals, whether known or still latent.
14. Also we find that the experiences of the entity in the interims of planetary sojourns between the earthly manifestations become the innate mental urges, that may or may not at times be a part of the day dreaming, or the though and meditation of the inmost self.
15. Hence we find astrological aspects and influence in the experience, but rather because of the entity's sojourn in the environ than because of a certain star, constellation or even zodiacal sign being in such and such a position at the time of birth.
16. Know that man - as has been expressed - was given dominion over all, and in the understanding of same may use all of the laws as pertaining to same for his benefit.
17. In the application of same as a benefit - if it is for self-indulgence or self-expression alone, it loses its own individuality in the personality of that sought or desired; and thus the very knowledge may be used as a stumbling-stone. But if each experience is as a manifestation to the glory of a creative or heavenly force, or that which is continual thus the judgements being drawn from an ideal that is spiritual in its concept, then there is the greater growth, the greater harmony - for there becomes an at-onement with the influences about same.
1895-1 Page 3
18. As we find in Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and the Uranian forces as combined with Neptune - these become as influences, but without respect to what the entity may do ABOUT same.
19. Hence we find the entity should live within the sight of water at all periods. For as water is the basis of expression of creative influences or forces in matter in the earth, it becomes as an expression in the experience of the entity for harmonious experiences.
20. Also the influences of the extremes become a part of the entity's experience. So, there have been periods when the entity has been considered by others as being definitely or unusually moody in the manner or way of expression.
21. From the Jupiterian experience or influence we find the abilities as a leader or director, or one to whom many will come for counsel or advice. And oft the entity, by its own quietness, invites confidences from others.
22. Not that the entity is aloof, but the entity finds itself oft alone; yet influencing many groups or masses.
23. In Venus we find the lovely or beautiful home maker, and yet these become as things that are set apart as duties. They should be more privileges, more opportunities. For there are the abilities to guide and direct those of other channels of thought, even though there must be the impelling forces from the mysterious - for those that have the greater influence are the unseen forces in the experience of any and every individual.
24. As to the appearances in the earth - these we find of a very definite nature or manner of influence, yet very much apart as to the manner of expression.
25. Thus we find peculiarities, or those things that may be called by some as the eccentricities of the entity in its relationships and in its reactions to people as well as conditions and circumstance.
26. Before this, then, we find the entity was in the land of the present sojourn - during those periods when there were the attempts for the establishing of settlements for the associations or the trading posts with the natives as well as those of other regions close about, owing to the abilities and means for transportations, or for the activities of communications.
27. During those early portions of the Dearborn sojourn, we find the entity was among those who were associated with those who established the activities there. In the experience the entity became one in which there was much of the ability to barter for the goods of others.
28. Hence a good business individual - one capable of
1895-1 Page 4
looking after the economic circumstances, as well as making good bargains that would become as helpful experience to both those who who give and those who would take in such activities or relationships.
29. The name then, as we find, was Amelia Eberlin. In the experience the entity gained, for there were those activities in which there was the consideration of the all. Not that the entity enjoyed what are termed today the material pleasures, yet the very abilities and the labors of the entity during that experience make for a very active mental experience in the present.
30. As to the application of self from those abilities, we find that in writing or story telling the entity might draw upon those experiences from the psychic or the very astrological forces of the experience - which would be well. For the occult IS that channel through which the mysteries, even as depend upon relationships, may be drawn for examples or experiences.
31. Before that we find the entity was in the Persian experience, when there were those activities in the "city in the hills and plains," when there were those peoples from the Grecian land.
32. The entity was among those maidens who came into the Persian land. And the abilities of the entity then were not only as an entertainer, but as one who labored in the fields of nursing, the caring for the activities of those peoples.
33. Hence spiritual healing, mental healing, as well as those things that apply to the applications from nature's storehouse become an influence for the seeking or expression in the entity's present experience.
34. Hence, as a home maker, or one with those abilities to counsel with those who would care for the physical or mental ills - these become innate and manifested abilities for the entity in the present.
35. The name then was Celia.
36. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Inca or Peruvian or Ecuador land, during those periods when the people from On (?) [Aymaras] and Og were making for so many changes - by the disturbing forces which arose from individuals who came into the land from the Atlantean land, as well as those who were to journey for the establishing of activities in what is now the Yucatan land.
37. The entity then was a princess, and a daughter of one of the rulers associated with the one [470] who with so many wives (of which the entity was one) made for both good and bad.
38. Hence the entity was given to the keeping in line with
1895-1 Page 5
the activities of those who were to establish new outlying districts. Hence the beauty of the entity, as well as its associations of power and strength, made for those activities in the Yucatan land - with those of the Atlanteans as well as those from the land of Og and On - that brought about a great advancement.
39. Through those experiences the entity advanced far because of its abilities in judgement as drawn from nature, as well as from the signs of the heavens and those activities that same bear upon the influencing of man - as well as the seasons and the crops and the like, that were a part of the dependence of each people during those periods.
40. The entity gained throughout that experience, yet - with the regenerating, or the degrading as it became later, to those sacrifices that took hold of the offering of bodily forces - these became a torment.
41. Hence in the present, we find a great deal of those influences and forces for good - that wherein there are the needs for, or even the activities where there is individual persecution, these become as things that arouse the entity to its ire in the present experience.
42. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain:
43. As indicated, first know self and what is thy ideal.
44. The study of the occult or mystic will bring great harmony.
45. The abilities as a leader, a lecturer, a writer, are innate; and if the entity will give self to the expression of much that arises from the latent influences and powers, great may be the joys - and also the help and aid that may come to others.
46. Ready for questions.
47. (Q) Have I had associations in previous lives with my husband, [...]? (A) In the experience just before this, quite closely associated - for it might be termed that they were in business together; yet he being as it were a partner of the entity's THEN husband.
48. (Q) With my friend, [...]? (A) This we find as from afar, rather than a close association; though making for the desire for a close activity in the present; and it was during an experience not given here, also a part of the Persian experience.
49. (Q) With my son, [...]? (A) Both in the Dearborn and in the Atlantean or Yucatan or Aryan.
50. (Q) With my daughter, [...]?
1895-1 Page 6
(A) This as we find was during the first MATERIAL association.
51. (Q) With my daughter, [...]? (A) This as we find was a very close association in the Dearborn and in the Persian experience, as well as being the DAUGHTER in the Yucatan experience - FROM the Inca land.
52. (Q) What was the true local time of my physical birth? (A) This we do not get. It apparently was at the time which has been accredited by the parents.
53. (Q) Have I had previous associations with my mother, [...]? (A) In the experience in the Persian land.
54. (Q) With my father, [...]? (A) We do not find so.
55. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Let those promptings of thy study - in directing, in writing, in admonition - be founded upon those principles of, "As ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so unto them."
