1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth's plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes - [1900] - there's been another [name?] in between.

3. We have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1900].

4. In giving the interpretations of the records here, these are chosen with the desire to make the experience a helpful one for the entity.

5. The virtues and vices, or virtues and faults, are indicated; that, being forewarned, the entity may be forearmed, or make application of those intuitive or innate influences and forces that will bring a greater harmony in the experience of the entity.

6. For without the consideration for what the entity has done about same (and there have been periods when much has been done, and periods when so little is done or accomplished), we find that the entity is manifestedly one not what would be called altogether morbid, nor altogether pessimistic, but with the inclination to see the dark side ALWAYS - and to appear too much in the way of never seeing any joy, any hope in the experience before self.

7. The entity is always in that way of viewing the dark side - always wishing, always declaring for security; without the whole consideration of the enjoyment of the present.

8. It would be WELL for the entity to cultivate humor and wit, the ability to see even the ridiculous, but not to such

1900-1 Page 2

extent as to make for those things that are so overburdened with the ridiculous as to lose hold upon the real and true things in the experience.

9. For know that the life, the body, the mind is as much or more for enjoyment. The long face or the sordid conditions have not always been thine - they are not always in the experience of every individual. For there are the "moments" for every one.

10. Then, cultivate cheerfulness. For your purpose, your desire is to bring such in the experience of others. Then it must be in thine own daily experience.

11. As to the influences in the experience of this entity, we find that the astrological aspects may not be said to be altogether true to form, as might be indicated by some astrologers; for there would be quite a variation in the interpreting of the personality, the individuality, as well as that which is the experience of the entity in the present sojourn.

12. But cultivate more the joy, and seek less and less for the sordid or that which is uncomely. See the BEAUTY!

13. The abilities of the entity in being able to write are manifested - as shown through the astrological aspects; but if it is to be of the sordid side, what joy may ye bring into the experience of others? But see the joyfulness even in the psalmist. See the joyfulness in the Master of men. See the joyfulness in those who were even persecuted for His sake - even as Stephen, Paul, Philip, Peter and the others. All of these indicate their JOY in the Lord; and over and over again it is indicated as to how HIS joy makes for that of peace and harmony in thine own experience.

14. In the astrological aspects we also find Jupiter as rather a benevolent influence. Hence the activities will be in association with the masses and groups of people; and what ever the fields of activity, the endeavor must be in those directions. Though the activity may deal with the individual choice of others, the innate and manifested urge is to serve the many - which is in keeping with those impulses, those influences and directions from the sojourn in Jupiter.

15. As to the appearances in the earth, these we find are quite varied in their activity.

16. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, where and when there was the establishing of the first permanent dwellings.

17. The entity then was among those who knew the hardships, who knew the toils of those of a new land. And the entity was under the influence of those who stressed more the

1900-1 Page 3

hardships than the freedom and joy.

18. Hence the innate feelings that come in the present, - yet the activities of the entity during that experience were in attempting to make for cheer and the preservation of not only the physical but the establishing of permanent activities for the many. Thus the abilities of the entity to direct, either by hand or by the contact through varied channels, those precepts and lessons that may be of a special interest or intent and purpose for the development of individuals and groups in their dealing with their daily problems as well as their associations with their fellow man.

19. The name then was Alma Emily Wortham. In the experience the entity gained; although, as may be seen in the present, there are those sordid influences from same - yet the abilities and virtues from same also.

20. But the same character of seed that ye attempt to sow, ye should and must reap - if there will be the better harmony and peace within thine own experience.

21. Before that we find the entity was in the Roman rule and period when the natives were accepting the activities of the Christian principles and purposes of a strange people from a strange land. Yet those decided convictions as came to the entity then, as Polymus, made for those activities that aided every one of the groups that came into the Roman experience for the service in the establishing of church, in the establishing of a definite congregation, or the body politic for definite service and definite work in the varied directions.

22. Hence we will find in the present experiences of the entity the abilities to write, to distribute, to interpret, to direct those of tracts, or special lessons, should be a part of the entity's activity.

23. But hold to those same tenets and know ye shall not be ashamed of that which is presented in the life and the death of Him who IS the Saviour of the world. For His life, His experience IS the power of the Creative Force or God, and to salvation for each and every soul.

24. Then, hold fast to His tenets, in whatsoever service or activity ye may engage; and we will find the greater joys and blessings coming to thee in EVERY form of manifestations.

25. For you will find that suddenly there will come to thee greater opportunities - which should come within those periods of the present year, and WILL when ye have determined to see the good and not always the bad in not only thy own experience but in that of every individual

1900-1 Page 4

about thee.

26. For know, until ye have begun to love thine enemies, or those who would despitefully use you, you haven't begun to conceive of that purpose He has with thee.

27. Thus ye will find thyself developing something unusual in the manner or way of presenting a thought, an idea to the masses and to groups.

28. And DO that thing!

29. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Carpathian, during those periods when there was the exercising of activities in the land for the study of that which is professionally called in the present astrology or astronomy.

30. For with the associations of the entity then with one Corpio (?), an extended study was made through the abilities to use the glass that was found for the interpreting of the lights from the various heavenly bodies.

31. This makes for the experience in the present entity of its need for interest in scientific subjects, and especially things having to do with the relationships between the known or seen and the unknown and the sources from which spiritual and mental purposes or visions arise.

32. The name then was Celuo.

33. Before that we find the entity was among those people traveling from the Promised Land to other lands, through the periods of exile; not of the Jewish peoples but rather of the associates or companions with them - or among the sons of Rechab.

34. In the experience we find the entity was given to the dyes that were used in the coloring of clothing and cords and those things pertaining to wearing apparel of every nature and character.

35. Hence the entity's interest in such in the present is made manifest.

36. The name then was Tezkla.

37. Before that we find the entity was in the earlier period of the activity in the earth, when there were the journeyings of the peoples from that known as the Babylonian land.

38. There we find the entity was among those who were given to the creating of influences and forces that made for the cups and saucers and things that might be used for conveniences for individuals, groups or masses.

39. Hence pottery and such becomes part of the entity's innate manifestation. And it would be well if the entity would interest self in same in the present experience.

40. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that

1900-1 Page 5

to which it may attain, and how:

41. First, study to show thyself approved unto thy ideal. And determine in self what is thy ideal - spiritual, mental and physical.

42. What would ye have thy God do for thee? What would ye do for Him?

43. What would ye have thy friends, they associates be to thee? What would ye be to them?

44. There is an ideal in both and all of these phases. What is thy ideal of thy relationships to the world, to the flesh; and how will ye live in comparison to same?

45. For it is what measure ye mete that is measured to thee again.

46. This is not merely a law - it is fact, it is the world, it is the spirit, it is truth.

47. Live, then, therein.

48. Ready for questions.

49. (Q) Where is the location - town or country - best for my husband and me, and our business? (A) Closer to the seashore in the land or state of thy birth. Manteo, or such.

50. (Q) When should this change be made? (A) In the early fall - this year.

51. (Q) What can we do to make the business more profitable and increase our income? (A) LIVE that ye seek for others to express in their lives also. Make the records more helpful, more joyous; and ye will find greater blessings to thyself as well as to those ye would serve. Know, as ye sow, ye reap.

52. (Q) Should we undertake the purchase of a small home when we make this change? (A) This as we find would be well.

53. (Q) Should any improvements be made in our Indexes and if so specify what they are? (A) As indicated, the change would be in making same more joyous experiences for others.
