Born June 19, 1901, in New York City. Time of Reading 3:35 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces, giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development of the present entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how; answering the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1901].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire that this experience may be a helpful one for the entity at this time.

4. There may be SO MUCH SAID as to the entity's abilities, - from the records as we find here - in a material manner for this experience; for he will be heard of through many channels.

5. But the entity should know there is more to life than to live, and a success must be one in which the entity may grow in understanding and in knowledge. It must be one in which grace and mercy and truth HAVE been and ARE the directing activities; else regrets, in the home, in the associations, may be the part of the entity's experience.

6. Keep self, then, well balanced. Budget thy time more.

7. It is true that one rarely succeeds who has many diversified interests, yet thy activities and the dividing of thy time should be diversified according to a definite undertaking in a specific direction - that the choice of thy dealings with thy fellow man may be the more thoroughly understood from EVERY direction; and not merely diversified in the attempt to be a piddler in man undertakings.

8. For he that makes material gains at the expense of home or of opportunities and obligations with his own family does so to his own undoing.

9. Then, be more democratic with those whom ye would aid. Not from a mercenary angle or viewpoint, or merely for policy, but that brotherly love may indeed be the factor that would PROMPT the entity to give consideration to the spiritual and physical needs of the lowliest one whom ye would aid.

10. In choosing the appearances that influence the entity in the present, one stands out so much more than the others, - and yet it is from that activity in which both thy virtues and thy vices are indicated in the present experience.

11. Then, as is intimated, the astrological sojourns or experiences have rather little to do with influencing the entity in the present.

12. Not that the entity is so material-minded as not to be aware of obligations, but these should NOT be in the home and in the relationships with thine own as obligations, but KNOW that they are rather opportunities for thee to fill that which is the purpose for each entity's entering a material experience.

13. For it is indeed a fact that ye live and move and have thy being in a higher influence, a higher force than that which appears among or in just material things.

14. Ye have comprehended thy affection. This is not merely the satisfying of an emotion in sex or in thy relationships with the opposite sex. This ye feel, ye know - or have comprehended - but too often have neglected or forgotten what the first feeling was when thine own offspring caught hold of thy hand! This was not of sex - this was not of emotion only, but an answering of that which is the birthright of each soul to be made aware of the love of the heavenly Father to His creatures!

15. Look on these more often; and as ye bring hope, expectancy into the experience of thy fellow man for him to exercise his prerogative to fulfillsuch in his own experience, supplying not only the material needs of himself and his loved ones by his labors, but to give expression to a higher, a finer sense of the obligation one - as thyself and as thy brother - owes to the Creative Force or God.

16. Ye are in the position, ye have been especially endowed with the faculties and the abilities to be of a service to thy fellow man. Will ye do so that thine own ego may be satisfied; that ye may enjoy the pleasures of thine own appetites for a season; using thy obligations, using thy opportunities as an excuse that ye may gratify thine OWN self?

17. Or would ye not rather that there be the answer within thyself from thy activities that ye are at-one with that

1901-1 Page 3

Creative Force, God Himself - that ye may have that peace, that harmony, that satisfaction which comes ONLY from living, being, exercising thy abilities in the direction that will bring hope and cheer and patience and love and harmony in the lives of all ye touch?

18. Not by might nor by power alone, but by love and kindness, and freedom FROM worries that so beset so much from self-indulgences.

19. THINK - THINK on these! For with thy abilities ye may apply same in such a manner that, as ye develop thy relationships with thy fellow may ye KNOW - KNOW in thy heart, thy mind, that with what measure ye mete to them it will be measured to thee again.

20. Think not that there is any short cut to peace or harmony, save in correct living. Ye CANNOT go against thine own conscience and be at peace with thyself, thy home, thy neighbor, thy God! For as ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto thy Maker.

21. As to the appearances in the earth - these are given that ye may see thyself - in thy meditation upon that which has been indicated to thee.

22. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods known as the American Revolution, and following same - during that period of activity when there was the attempt of men through the land to reestablish themselves in the economic conditions, in the changing scenes, changing disturbances, changing purposes and desires.

23. The name then was Samuel Goldman; and the entity made for such a gift of self in its relationships to its fellow man for a cause and for a purpose, that there was not so much known in those circles where there was the laudation, - but within the self and within the realm where man meets his own self when absent from the body, was peace and harmony drawn.

24. Hence the abilities to judge thy fellow man - not as in judgements of condemning, but rather in that as of enabling thee to speak the word here, the word there, as would bring hope, as would give the correcting purposes that should be in the experiences of others.

25. Hence the entity gained throughout that activity.

26. And if there will be first, in the present, the purposing and living in such a manner before God as to walk circumspectly in thine own conscience before Him, and in dealing as through that experience with thy fellow man, ye may find - as this world's goods increase in thy hands (as thy must necessarily do) - they will not and do not become

1901-1 Page 4

burdens to thy conscience nor separate thee from thy home or thy fellow man. But rather is the opportunity to serve thy Maker.

27. Ye have earned that right for much of this world's goods. Do not abuse that; else ye become - in thine OWN conscience - an outcast in this experience.

28. Before that we find the entity was in the Roman land during the early periods of the establishing of same, and when there was the adoption of the habits of men in their combats with fellow men in war, or in the tumults for the wearing of helmets for protection.

29. The entity then, as one Zelost, made for the perfecting of those that not only enabled this to act as a shield from the poles, the spears and even the swords of the antagonist, but it brought to the entity a place of position among those of the early periods.

30. And thus from same arises in the present that desire for power, that ye may CONTROL the activities and the lives of others.

31. Think of that which has been indicated, that as ye measure to others it will be measured to you!

32. In thy associations and dealings with thy fellow man, manifest that rule (and not by feelings alone, to be sure), that as ye would that men would consider thee if thy positions were reversed, so act toward thy fellow man.

33. This is not an idle dream, but is a practical experience that ye may apply day by day.

34. Here AGAIN we find those abilities to direct, those abilities to choose for others. And the inclination to rule when such choices have been made that they put themselves under thy directing hand, this is well - if ye will but take thy Maker with thee in thy dealings with others.

35. Before that we find the entity was in the Persian land, when there were those activities which had brought the differences between those peoples of the Egyptian land and the Carpathian and the Persian.

36. The entity entered with the activities of the Priest of the land, as there was the establishing in Egypt of the closer relationships with all the activities in other lands.

37. Hence the entity rose to a power in the Egyptian land, and using same in its own land when there was the completing of its education - as ye would term - or its abilities to apply itself in the choosing of individuals for definite services - as to whether this or that would be the musician, this or the other the bricklayer, this or the other the carpenter, this or the other the stone cutter or the lawyer, or the choice of professions.

38. The name then was It-Gulo.

39. As to the abilities of the entity in the present:

40. In that field of service ye have chosen as a helper to thy fellow man - as an employment bureau or as the buffeter between those who seek labor and those who need help - ye have chosen well.

41. Then study each group, each mass, each individual; and put something of thy self in same that is tempered with thy thought of thy God, as may manifest in brotherly love.

42. Thus ye will find an increase materially, and increase in opportunity, an increase in thy abilities to serve.

43. Keep thy faith in thy self, in thy God, in thy country.

44. Ready for questions.

45. (Q) In order that the work may be done properly, please give me advice as to how to combine vocational guidance and psychology, etc., with our ordinary every day routine to make it most effective for the individual? (A) As has just been indicated. As ye will study in that way and manner to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, He - with the promises and with those applications ye have made - will OPEN thy mind, thy heart, to the opportunities before thee.

46. (Q) Please give me the advice and guidance needed as to the plan on which I have been working the past 14 years, which would revolutionize this entire industry. I need this guidance before taking the final step. (A) Take that which has been given - and DO NOT with that plan become the dictator at heart, but rather the big brother to thy fellow man - as also to thy home, thy child.
