1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [1925], present in this room, and all his various associations and relations. You will answer the questions which he will ask you regarding all of these, including health, home, business and all other phases of his life.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1925] - this we have had before. Much might be said respecting associations and relations as regarding home, business, health. These are one, when a purposeful life is planned by a body - for without a good physical being there are hindrances that make for a lacking in some degree. One is dependent upon the other, would a body - with the talents as possessed by THIS body - be used in the proper way and manner. To make a success in ANY direction at the expense of body, mind, home, OR relations with individuals, in to be lacking in that which may prevent the REAL self from entering into that of a contentment that must be the desire of EVERY entity.

4. (Q) What is the pain I have sometimes in my side and back? and what can I do to abate it? [See 1925-1, Par. 16-A.] (A) This, as we find, comes from what may be called muscular contraction, or from that of congestion in some portion of the system where poisons attempting to be ELIMINATED become pressures through the circulation on some portion, or the weaker portions of the body. In THIS particular condition, we find this produced from conditions as has been warned of as respecting the soft tissues in head, antrum, nasal, and those pressures there. Well that there be the relieving of those pressures in the upper dorsal and cervical, with some local applications in the antrum and the facial soft tissues, and these will disappear.
5. (Q) What is the pain I have in the back of my head sometimes and what should I do about it? (A) With the relief of one the causes for both will be

taken from the system. These would be best made by, not so much a series - though six or eight adjustments, then some local clarifications - then in a month or six weeks two or three more adjustments and manipulations should be taken, see? to keep an alignment, so that ELIMINATIONS are kept in a normal manner, and when these ARE kept normal the replenishing and resuscitating forces of the body are able to perform a normal functioning.
6. (Q) Should I establish a home now, or wait until I get the children by my former wife? (A) As we would find, the establishing or BUILDING of a home will precipitate matters as toward obtaining the possession of, in a manner as to make same most satisfactory to self and to others that are concerned. We would build, and we will find that - with the establishing of same - we will bring about a change in the status quota of the RELATIONSHIPS for self, home, and for the children.
7. (Q) When will I get the children? (A) As has been given, yet CHANGES may be made - even by the activities, as is indicated here.
8. (Q) Astrological conditions indicate my next and last child will be a baby girl. Is this true? and is it possible that there could be twins? If so, when would be the proper time for conception to take place? (A) The astrological influences for SELF indicate such. For the PROPER relationships to be established, for a CERTAINTY of same, would require the relationships with the mother and the astrological aspects THERE. In the creation of INFLUENCES, as we find, these may be altered by the actions of the INDIVIDUALS as related to ANY ASTROLOGICAL aspect; for that within each individual's development is the application of the will. As to this BEING a twin, this - we find - may be POSSIBLE, but would depend upon the many variations, as indicated. The best time, as we would find, would be that the BIRTHDATE would be in February or March.
9. (Q) What are the immediate and future prospects of the ... Bank with which I am associated? (A) This brings into consideration many of the INDIVIDUALS that are associated WITH same, as well as many another minor or greater institution's work as applied TO the outcomes TO be expected. To speak in GENERAL terms, with the same individuals as now make up the personnel of same, the outcome will be most satisfactory. As conditions advance, within the next two years, we would find an advancement for the body to a position more in power, as may be termed, and the retiring of some already in charge. This, then, would require that the body CONTINUE its association and

affiliation with the institution AS an institution. Remember, we are dealing with the institution or corporation AND with individuals' lives. Let's don't mix them, but get a better understanding of situations! Now, there are holdings or interests held BY the institution that - in the settling of same - will have MUCH to do with that of public opinion and public interests in the institution. These, especially where there is the involving of the liquidation of notes or properties as held as collateral or securities, the individuals HANDLING same in most instances are very good, and will make for more security in the public opinions. Now, individuals AND institutions depend upon public opinion - yet the safety of an institution may be destroyed by public opinion when individuals KNOW, even, that this is opinions rather than actual conditions; yet they may BRING - through public opinion - conditions to bear upon public institutions that make for hardships. These come through activities of individuals. There are some associated with the institution who their private life is not all they should be. Of such dispense with same in an amicable manner; that is, not for reasons that the morals are questioned, but that of public opinions that make for hardships when the good even of those who see and make for the best for such public interests are evil spoken of; and let NOT thine good - even through such channels - be evil spoken of. In the handling of those conditions as pertain to the real estate, the realty properties, do not let THIS become a burden to the institution, but be able to liquidate in a manner as in KEEPING with the best interests of ALL concerned. This will not BE the same CHARACTER of rule in the liquidation of long holdings of allied interests. Made so by circumstances that have arisen in the last eighteen months or two years, but the PRINCIPLE will be the same; that is, where long interest held in such conditions are WORKABLE interests let them be WORKED out. Where they require additional capital to make them workable, do not enhance that already held by giving or allowing too great an extent for such. In the hands of the two individuals as are responsible, these are very good.
10. (Q) Should I stay permanently with this institution? (A) That as has been indicated. The success for self in a financial manner, as well as for policy sake in other directions, as WE find, would be well; for advancement will come. Do not abuse self's own abilities in any of the directions, as indicated. POWER is wonderful, but power

ABUSED is awful!
11. (Q) Will I ever be president? (A) Should be within two years. [GD's note: He did later become President.]
12. (Q) Should the present president retire, and when? (A) Within that period, he should.
13. (Q) Is there any one of my employees dishonest with the bank or the bank's customers? If so, can you tell me the name and how is the best way to get rid of him without causing much talk around town? (A) As has been indicated, there are some associates that their outside life is not in keeping with the policies of those of the better interests, either for the institution or for associates. As for their DISHONESTY with customers or institution, RATHER - in the PRESENT situation - would it be termed dishonesty with themselves! but such persisted in must, sooner or later, lead to those of a questionable nature - and when questions are marked behind individuals' activities, then all suffer. These can BEST be found by taking note of the activities of individuals. Better than names!
14. (Q) Tell me what to do to get a better organization in my working force? (A) Make for better cooperation as towards an ideal. This does not necessarily mean from that ORDINARILY termed as religious or even spiritual point of view. IDEAS and IDEALS are quite different things! Choose an ideal. Among those of authority instill the principles of that ideal, and there will be seen that the whole force then will be - as it were - "on their metal", and the whole chain is only as strong as its weakest link, in that each individual then - WITH an ideal - makes for strength in EVERY direction.
15. (Q) Should the same force be retained, or should those who have been carried partially thru sympathy be weeded out? (A) Gradually, this will be found necessary as CONDITIONS progress - and as those conditions that would be made from the gathering together of AUTHORITY for an ideal; not merely idealistic, NOT merely as something as "classy", but rather as PRINCIPLE!
16. (Q) Did the young man in my employ who has recently been involved in scandal with another man's wife see the woman in the case last week while he apparently was on a business trip? (A) He did! Best be called to taw [task?] about it, too!
17. (Q) Where did he see her? (A) In another State!
18. (Q) What will be the final result to the ... Bank in

the liquidation of the First National Bank? (A) If those principles are applied as has been outlined, as to holdings, those that are of a workable nature, this will be most satisfactory.
19. (Q) What will be the final result to the ... Bank in the liquidation of the Bank of Tidewater? (A) There are some questionable holdings by this interest, but in the main these - by careful handling - will be made to be profitable, by the INTEREST - especially the public interest - in some of these circumstances and conditions, see?
20. (Q) What about the building material business in which I am interested? Should I continue, and if so should I keep the same manager? (A) There have been some questions, as has been indicated, as respecting this manager - but these have both sides to be considered. We would continue, and we would at least give THIS manager another chance, retaining many of those with same who are looking after self's INTERESTS WITH same, see? Then, should these not measure up, we would make changes.
21. (Q) Should I continue my son in this business? (A) Be well for the time being, at least.
22. (Q) What is the matter with my wife's brother? What vocation should he pursue? How soon will he get into something permanent? (A) There SHOULD be, as we find, some physical examinations for this body, that - we would find - would be very well for making some changes in the OUTLOOK on life. This may be BEST approached, as WE find, through the life reading.
23. (Q) Regarding the young man in my employ who has recently been involved in scandal, can you tell me anything else regarding this affair that will help me at this time? (A) There are many sides to these conditions, as has brought about the circumstances surrounding it. The man has not ALWAYS been honest in that said as respecting associations and relations, yet these have not always been that individual's fault. The taking to taw [task?], as given, not as rebukes - rather as a reasoning WITH as respecting the necessity of being honest with self as WELL as with associates.
