1. EC: Yes, we have the entity and those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are latent and manifested in the present experience, [1929].
2. In entering this present experience astrologically, we find there are those influences in the experience of the entity from an astrological influence, yet much has been altered in this direction, so that purely from the astrological influence little might be of help; yet this influence with the experiences and what the entity as a soul-entity has done, and is doing about such influences, may be made to be helpful in the experience of the entity.
3. The astrological influences, then, are as of sojourns of the soul-entity in the environs of those spheres within the entity's experience in them.
4. First there is Jupiter, with its many varying conditions. Then there is Neptune and Venus, with those influences that come from the variations in experiences through these planetary influences in Mars; hence we find, as would be reckoned astrologically alone, those influences that should make abilities in being able, or being in the position of one to control or direct any condition which pertained to those relationships of individuals with things, or a body capable of heading a business enterprise. These abilities in the entity have in the present been rather made subservient to not only the will of self, but to the circumstance and the attitudes of others. This has brought about the entity in the experience, then, those periods when there were those feelings of being hedged in by circumstance, and were the body to have, or be in the position to have its OWN way, there could be, or would be, many changes made in the material, the social, the mental relationships. This brings about, then, periods of being

elated with some circumstance, and again rather despondency in the mental and material conditions that come about. With the changes that we find are eminent in astrological influences, however, the opportunities and abilities are on the verge of being changed, so that the entity may find a period of greater expression; for, as has been seen in many ways and manners in mental and material conditions, the natural tendency for the body is leadership.
5. The influences in Mercury make for those mental capacities, the abilities for making the influences felt in relationships to others, as well as to things.
6. Those influences from Neptune bring those interests in the mysteries, and mysterious sides of individuals' experiences; as well as those tendencies for the body to pass through those periods of wonderment, when the entity has tended to keep many things and ponder them within self, when there have been those periods of questioning as to whether greater abilities are being exercised, or when disappointments have come in the experience of the body in its relationships to material things and with individuals. These tendencies have been builded, rather than being what would be termed purely astrological, for the entity, the body, to become more and more retiring in manner and mien; rather the tendency to listen than to give expression to the thoughts, the ideas that arise within the self, yet still do the innate abilities manifest in the pondering, in the musing, in the turning over within the mental forces of self those things that have been gained by mental, material and spiritual influences and experiences; hence, with the incoming of the opportunities through those greater influences that will be exercised upon individuals other than self, as well as self, with the advent, as it were, of Jupiter's greater influence in the next three years, there should come the greater contentment, and the opportunities for self-expression that will bring for the entity those periods of development mentally, physically, spiritually, soul-finding, soul-growth. These influences also in Neptune make for those tendencies of the spiritual inclinations ever innate in the entity's activities, physically and mentally; while those conditions that have appeared and do appear from influence in Mars, in its correlation with those influences in the experience in the present, make for those tendencies of fear as directed by circumstance. These bring that necessity of the entity's exercising greater activity towards that which is and may be builded as the entity's standard, or ideal, and the adhering closer to those principles that find expression in following closer in the

pathway of Him that may aid, and that may stand oft instead of self in relationships to individuals, circumstances, conditions, mental conditions and material; for these then will enable the entity through this period to find the greater development in self.
7. As to the personalities that may be indicated by that which has been given, these make for a pleasing temperament, yet one hidden oft from many even close associates as to the real feelings of the entity respecting relationships; making for abilities in many directions; a BUILDER of those relationships in whatever directions may be chosen by the entity, in binding friendships or in losing self from relationships that become obnoxious either in mental or material conditions; yet ever do the abilities for control remain in the entity's OWN self, if there will be but the expression or manifestations of the abilities that are innate, and that may find expression in action of the entity.
8. Then, as to the appearances and the effect these have upon the present experience of the entity:
9. In the one before this we find the entity in this present land, and in the sojourn near to those environs into which the entity entered for this appearance. The entity was among those people in the capitol of the land, then, that defended in those periods of building up a condition which prevented the entering in of others of different faiths, as well as others of different stations in life. Then the entity was in the name Marian, and gained and lost through the experience; gained through the sincerity that was manifest in those periods both of oppression and of activity that brought many satisfying conditions in the mental and material activities of the entity, losing only when those grudges, or those inabilities to adjust self to the varying conditions that arose with the putting of powers over the peoples about the entity, that made for those jealousies, those selfish activities that brought detrimental activities; hence in the present the entity has found self oft in the position of having, or called upon to forget many of those conditions that were as forgetfulnesses in the activities of those that should, as the entity has felt oft, have NOT forgotten. In the activities respecting these conditions much has been gained by self in meeting these experiences for the present, by the closer adherence to the innate expressions of spiritual activities in the life or experience of the entity.
10. In the one before this we find in that land or period when the Master walked in the earth, and especially about

those lands when many peoples of many lands gathered at the feast when the way, the road to Jerusalem, was trod by Him. The entity then was among those who journeyed hither from the lower portion of the same land, then in the name Matildhen; being among those that came under the influence of those peoples and the experience of meeting Him in the way. In this experience the entity gained throughout; for being then of the household of those that sought to know more of the lessons given by the forerunner [John the Baptist?], the entity was among those that aided in bringing the attention of more and more individuals to these lessons that were being given. After the experience on the road, the entity then gave self in the greater service for bringing others to the knowledge and understanding of the teachings of this man of Galilee, throughout the experience in that particular portion of the sphere; being among those then that gathered with the peoples on that day when the sun was darkened and the cry went out to the world, "My Lord, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" The entity gave much in self and self's activities throughout this experience; hence the closer that the entity in ANY activity or experience draws nearer to those tenets, those truths as gained through this experience, the more will there be brought peace, harmony, joy, contentment that satisfies the inner man; the farther the entity leads from that experience the less does there come joy, harmony, peace or understanding.
11. In the one before this we find in that land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there were the readjustments of conditions with the return of the priest to the land. The entity was then among those who returned with this group, and became one of the emissaries, one of the peoples to give out and bring in those that there might be a greater understanding and experience in the lives of individuals.
12. As to the abilities in the present, then, and that to which the entity may attain, and how:
13. As has been indicated, there are to be yet the greater opportunities in the present experience for manifestations of that which has been subjugated often in self. How may this find expression? As seen from the varied experiences, and the meeting of these under the different and varied environments, the entity is a natural innate leader. Little by little, then, may the entity add to self those attributes that will open for self, and those whom the entity contacts, those abilities for the knowledge that brings understanding, and with understanding of the spiritual laws and influences in the life will come those judgments and understandings

that make for the influences in the mental and in the material life that give greater contentment in the experience in the present plane. Then, add to that in hand by the closer walk with Him, and it will be given thee from day to day the way thou shalt go.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) What particular thing am I best fitted to do? (A) To be a teacher by precept and example to those that would seek to know His way, as they go up to the holy city, or as they seek His face.
16. (Q) My husband is contemplating giving up his job and going to Washington, D.C. Would it be wise to do so? Please advise me. (A) As is felt innately in self, through those manners or ways that have been indicated, this would be unwise in the present; until there are changes in conditions or circumstances, both for self and for those that would be influenced by such a change in the present.
17. (Q) Where may I look for a better job? (A) As indicated by that first given, by the middle of the present month we find there shall be many changes imminent in the experience of the entity mentally; and the mental being the builder, naturally there will gradually come about those influences that will offer greater opportunities. Do not be too hasty in the present, but rather let these grow as those things that are the outcome of an experiencing of self in His hands, His ways, His directions.
18. (Q) I have cares and obligations. How can these be best met? (A) These are met step by step, as the spiritual life would direct self. Know that the cares and the obligations are those that make for the balancing of self, and know that these will be cared for in the way and manner as He sees, would self entrust self's activities in His ways and manners.
19. (Q) Would it be best for us to move from our present home to ... Avenue, Norfolk? (A) Be well to change.
20. (Q) What life work should I encourage my son, [...], to pursue? (A) These would best be obtained through those relationships of that entity in his experiences in the earth. As we find, in those fields that deal with mechanical appliances.
21. (Q) Will there be favorable action concerning my husband's claim now pending with U.S. Veterans' Bureau, and if so how soon? (A) By the early portion of January. December activity -

22. (Q) Would it be advisable for us to allow anyone to build on our vacant lot on ... Ave., ... at the present time? (A) A little bit later would be better, beginning - we would give - after there has come to self some of those experiences from the changes that must come in the mental aptitudes of self, as relating to giving expression of the abilities in the material, the financial conditions about self. This, we would see, should be by December or January.
23. (Q) Would it be wise for me to allow my adopted daughter, [...], to stop school and go to work? (A) Under the conditions, the circumstances, that surround those things influencing the body [...] we would give that it would be better; that she go to work, yes.
24. (Q) To what color or combination of colors do I vibrate? (A) Russet browns and the lighter blues.
25. (Q) Any further spiritual advice? (A) Keep in the way thou knowest, adding day by day that thou gainest in the closer walk with Him; for the way is open to thee - enter in.
