Born November 21, 1891, in Amsterdam, Holland. Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from present - " - '37 - periods of disturbance in the social, racial as well as political and financial anxieties - '36 - '31 - rather periods of ecstasy in some directions and satisfaction in others - '28 - '29 - '26 - November 21st - [1933] - unusual surroundings!)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as [1933].

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find here, these are chosen with the desire that they may be helpful in making greater soul development through this experience, and thus find in the material expression and the social intercourse with the fellow man that as may assist the entity in becoming a more helpful and a greater channel for awakening possibilities as well as hopeful conditions in the experience of others; thus bringing to self contentment and harmony within its own self.

5. So many forces indicate that the entity becomes one - but irrespective or without respect to what the entity does about same - to be associated with great numbers and peoples as enmasse'; though this will be through individual choices that may be made by the entity as to individual contacts for same.

6. These as we find would have to do with things pertaining to lace or cloth, as well as the unusual activities where

1933-1 Page 2

conveniences for man are indicated for advancement, as well as mechanical things - as of flying.

7. In giving the influences then from the astrological aspects, these we find as warnings for the entity:

8. The inclination or tendency to find fault, or to be pessimistic, is a part of the entity's experience; and this should be overcome. Not that the purpose would be to create confidence where there is none, when there is fear all about and no hope; but there should be a hopeful outlook ever in EVERY manner, because the purpose should be to fill or to be that channel for which the Creative Force or God GAVE the soul, the entity, the OPPORTUNITIES at this time - through the experience in its relationships to the world as well as to individuals and conditions.

9. And, as is known and INNATELY felt (yet at times not so well practised), there IS a hopefulness - so long as man considers his relationships to Creative Force or God AS an opportunity and not as for self-aggrandizement or self-indulgences alone.

10. Hence more optimism in its relationships to others, in its relationships to conditions, will create that very thing in those whom the entity seeks to help, or those with whom the entity seeks to be in association or active in those channels or influences that are a part of the entity's experience - by the very relationships to the WHOLE of Creative Forces as are manifested by individual experiences in the material world.

11. We find the influences from Jupiter as the ruling forces - hence dealing with those things having to do with CONVENIENCES - stabilizing of same in the experiences of the fellow men.

12. In Venus we find the appreciations of the beautiful, - as of laces, kinds of cloth, as well as the dealings with the fellow man - these being the channels through which the greater activities, greater opportunities, greater privileges may be had. Yet, as is a law: Of him to whom much is given is much required.

13. And that thou hast in friendship, that thou hast in abilities to understand, correlate, combine, create coordination and cooperation among thy fellow men - that thou hast of material affairs or controls - is only LENT thee by Him who is the Giver of all good and perfect gifts.

14. Hence, what manner of man should ye be in thy dealings with thy fellow man? For, through the very manner of expression, through the very manner of dealings is there created innately and actively, in the hearts and souls of others, thy concept of thy God.

1933-1 Page 3

15. Who, then? what, then? is thy God?

16. As to the appearances or sojourns in the earth - these we find quite varied in their manners and in their associations.

17. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity - rather in the land of the present or immediate sojourn, but coming from the land of the present nativity.

18. Thus we will find the great opportunities in this land in the present; though, as in the efforts in the material plane then, these associations combined with the efforts in other experiences were the developing periods for the entity.

19. Hence there is the indication that there should be more of an international activity in the present - where those conditions of affluence and influence may bring a closer coordination and cooperation of purposes in the minds and hearts, and in the very activities materially of those whom the entity may interest in this action that brings brotherly love to nations.

20. We find the entity was in that experience during the early settlings of that portion of the land now known as New York, or New Amsterdam in that period.

21. Hence the NATURAL inclination for the directions and feelings in the activities there.

22. In those periods we find the attempts were for that activity in which there would be brought a greater association for trade relationships with individuals and groups in the new land by those of the lands from which the entity's forefathers had come.

23. Hence we find that corn, foodstuff, became a part of the experience in that particular sojourn; and yet - with the changes as wrought by the greater opportunities, and yet greater disturbances owing to the mediums of exchange in that particular period - we find that in the present experience there is disturbance owing to the valuations of mediums of exchange in the varied lands.

24. Yet, as just indicated, if there is more of the expression of hope, and belief, and brotherly love, and kindness, there may be - not the undermining but rather the stabilizing of the means of exchange between the many varied lands with which the entity will be called on to be active, and to be associated or affiliated with activities in the varied lands.

25. The name then was Herman Burger. In the experience the entity gained - the entity was active not only in the thought of others but for a greater understanding between

1933-1 Page 4

those peoples of many lands; and such understanding grew as the entity grew in its dealings in such relationships as indicated.

26. Before that we find the entity was in the Palestine land, during those periods when there was the establishing of the Roman peoples in that land.

27. The entity was among those who were of the Pharisee group, and those who were in authority during those periods in which there were the needs for the consideration of not only the religious associations but the political affiliations as grew BY the declaring of the needs for the means of exchange as well as the periods in which the activities of the tax were levied upon the peoples - and the means and necessity of those taxes being paid, or exchange being made into the country being represented by the manner or means of money.

28. Hence we find the entity was again associated or affiliated with those activities in which there were the needs for the consideration of such, and yet in those experiences we find the entity was able to make for the greater associations that brought less of the hardships by the attempts to correlate the needs of an activity in which the religious activities as well as the abilities of the entity's own peoples were to be considered.

29. The name then was Elijah. In the experience the entity gained, the entity lost. For there were periods in that experience when the entity sought to make for surety of material things for self, without the full, wholehearted thought of those who were dependent upon the entity for direction and counsel, owing to the position which the entity held.

30. Hence the warning that has been given - as to there being less of faultfinding and more of the magnifying of the helpful forces as may be derived from associations with any and EVERY character or group.

31. For, know this - and that it applies to self: No man, no group is in authority save it is ALLOWED by God! It may oft appear to be in conjunction with the forces of evil, yet all must be purged so as by fire, that we may indeed learn that each entity, each soul is his brother's keeper!

32. Before that we find the entity was in the earth during those periods when there was the return to the land of promise.

33. The entity was among those who were of the groups that came with Nehemiah, when the walls were to be rebuilded, - though the associations of the entity were with the peoples who had come under Zerubbabel and the laborers of those who

1933-1 Page 5

were in command, or under the direction of Nehemiah as with the priest and with the scribe - with whom the entity was associated because he had received a decree from the King that there should be kept the records of the activities not only of those who were in authority but as to how well the activities of that people were received by the natives as well as the remnant as had been left in that land.

34. Hence we find the entity in the present is oft in those positions of becoming assistant to those who would reconstruct not only government but business, business associations - those where ideas and ideals have been disturbed by disputes among officers or directors in organizations and in associations and corporations, as well as conditions between the various countries or nations, - that were represented in that experience when the entity - as Eliab - counseled with Zerubbabel, Ezra, Nehemiah and the King of the Persian land - BOTH of those who had issued the edicts for the activities of those particular returns to the activities in the promised land.

35. In the application of those lessons in the present experience - find thy ideal, as became necessary for the entity to understand the law as was interpreted through Zerubbabel as well as Ezra, who interpreted and read those ordinances as applied to those peoples.

36. So in thy associations and in thy attempts to help others, learn their environment - learn the promptings of their determining factors as to home, as to land - as to their religious thought.

37. And let the MAKER be the judge. Be THOU the channel for HELPFUL, hopeful experiences to all.

38. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, or in the land where the Egyptian Priest and his followers were banished.

39. There the entity was the son of the ruler of that Abyssinian land - thus becoming closely affiliated with many of those who were in authority, and who made overtures for and aided in the Priest's activities and those of his followers.

40. Thus the entity came under the direction not only in the spiritual sense but in the helpful influences as were accorded by many of the followers of the Priest, in making for better conditions in the home, in the manner and means for the preparations for the building of better relationships with other peoples.

41. There we find the entity "made good," as would be termed in the present, and remained with its own land; though many of the natives or many of its peoples followed the Priest

1933-1 Page 6

again into the Egyptian land when the period of his banishment was over.

42. Hence we find an emotion - not patriotic alone, not that of sentiment alone, but of the needs innate and deep within self not to turn loose old surroundings, old connections, old activities. And these are well, but - as indicated, as we find - new scenes, new activities - that have been a part of the experience - will again be a part of the experience of the entity in this sojourn.

43. As to the abilities of the entity and that to which it may attain, and how:

44. As indicated, the activities should be in the direction of strengthening the relationships between national and international relationships for activities especially having to do with aviation - especially having to do with grain, or foodstuff for peoples of nations - that have to do with laces or clothing, or the like - wearing apparel. These three channels, especially, should be considered EVER by the entity in its activities and dealings with others.

45. Spiritually - look within. Know, as was pronounced by the lawgiver of old - Lo, it is within thine own heart, thine own bosom that ye may find contentment and happiness.

46. And as ye give and bring such into the experience and lives of others, ye HAVE same thyself.

47. Study then to show thyself approved unto God - not ashamed, but keeping self and self's own conscience unspotted, the truth unsullied that finds conviction in thine own heart.

48. Ready for questions.

49. (Q) Where best make our future home? (A) New Amsterdam, or New York.

50. (Q) What business best devote my time and attention? (A) As indicated - investments or dealing in, or creating relationships in those fields of activity indicated.

51. (Q) What international conditions must I be cognizant of? (A) As indicated, the mediums of exchange must be in more of a unison - and work toward that.

52. (Q) What best for mental equilibrium? (A) As indicated, in the finding of self and self's relationship to the Creative Forces as may find expression in the manner of treating thy fellow man.

53. (Q) What American business offers opportunities for foreign capital? (A) Aeroplanes - or aviation.

54. (Q) What best for happiness of self and family? (A) As just given.

55. We are through for the present.
