1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1940].
3. As we find, the disturbing influences are an unbalancing of the chemical reactions in the system; owing to pressures that have existed, that do exist, from formation of scar tissue as well as adhesions added - to make more acute this unbalanced influence.
4. Thus, in the attempts of coordination between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerve system, there are areas in which the pressures cause disturbance, as well as affecting the activities of the heart and the general nervous system.
5. Not that there is a true plastic condition in the nerve tissue, but owing to this unbalanced condition and the lack of the vital forces necessary to create in the plasm of the blood supply not so much the coagulative activities but the abilities to produce the proper balance - through the blood structure itself - between the red and white blood and leucocyte supply, we find that the lymph circulation becomes puffed in areas and NOT as active in others as it should be.
6. Hence toxic reactions are indicated.
7. In making applications for this body, then - all of these phases should be considered.
8. First, we would have a gentle but thorough cleansing of the alimentary canal; preferably with a vegetable compound. As we find, the Simmons Liver Regulator would be well, - using the powder, which is preferable to the liquid.
9. When this has been accomplished, or there has been a good activity of same, then have a cleansing of the colon with a colonic irrigation. In the first waters for such irrigation, use a heaping teaspoonful of table salt and a

level teaspoonful of baking soda to the gallon of water. In the last or rinsing water, use a tablespoonful of Petrolagar AND a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline - these kept stirred in the water as it is injected. These are given as antiseptics to prevent the toxic forces and less irritation to the wall of the colon itself.
10. Continue with these colonics if there is the continued showing of phlegm or the natural lack of proper assimilation.
11. The next day after the first colonic, begin with hot and cold applications; preferably using sheets or blankets wrapped about the body. There should be at least three applications of each, first hot, then cold, see? once or twice a week; three blankets of the hot, three blankets of the cold, see?
12. These should reduce the pressure, and take away the activities of the nerve forces so as to be most helpful.
13. Then, following such applications there should be the gentle massage, for THEN the adjustments AND the effect upon the ganglia connecting or coordinating the spinal system AND the sympathetic will respond the more easily.
14. The adjustments then, neuropathically, would be of quite a specific nature. With the gentle massage along the spine there would be pressures made upon specific centers: On the right side of the neck, at the vagus center entering that portion of the neck (right side, see?) hold the thumb of one hand (this with the body lying upon the face, of course, and the head straight - NOT to the side); and then there would be a pressure (with the other hand) on the 4th lumbar to the LEFT side of same. Such a pressure would be held for two or three minutes, gradually turning loose.
15. Then there would be a pressure with one thumb at the END of the spine, first on the one side and then on the other, see? but holding a pressure with the other hand, at the same time, at the second cervical, or between the 1st and 2nd cervical. Thus the tensions will be relieved between the sympathetic AND the cerebrospinal system.
16. Well that at least one meal each day consist MOSTLY of the raw vegetables. Use with same either the oils or salad dressing, as preferable.
17. Do not take fried foods at any time.
18. Take internally the CODIRON as a tonic; two pellets with the meal, noon and evening.
19. Do not take too violent an exercise or have great excitements, for these will tend to make for a greater strain upon the heart's activity.
20. Do these, consistently; we will have the better forces

and influences for correcting these conditions with the body.
21. Ready for questions.
22. (Q) What weight should I be? (A) This will adjust itself if there are the proper precautions taken as to diet, and as has been indicated.
23. (Q) Will I be able to take trip in mid-July for two weeks? (A) This depends upon the response; but as we find it should be deferred until later.
24. (Q) Will I be able to work soon at my profession of neuropractor? (A) Within six weeks the body should be able to begin to exercise thoroughly, and should resume the practice - or should thus be able to resume the practice.
25. We are through for the present. Copy to Self - Special Delivery " " Ass'n file (Codiron is manufactured by The Lawrence Laboratories, Chicago, Ill. It sells for $1 a bottle of 60 tablets, $3 a bottle of 250 tablets.) .)
