1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from present - " - '37 - not so good - '33 - changes - '30 - yes, expectancy - '27 - yes - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1947].

4. This entity is one of those of the new order of the Atlanteans that will either make for a great development or cause conditions in the experience of self and others that will have much to do with changing conditions that are the natural tendencies of the mental and spiritual aspect of the world in the present.

5. The application in the present, as we find, is towards development. For the activities come with those individuals who have special abilities in the development of body and of mind, and for special activities or special influence, or individuals who will specialize in some phase of their relationships with others.

6. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the desire and the purpose that the experience may be a helpful one for the entity at this period of its choices to be made.

7. While these as we give are not all of the earthly appearances nor even all of the present activities, these are first chosen with the desire and purpose to be helpful, - for not only are the virtues indicated but the weaknesses,

1947-1 Page 2

as well as those inclinations and tendencies that make for the activities as manifested by many in the experiences of that sojourn in which so many great MENTAL experiences brought disturbing influences in the experience of mankind.

8. In giving the urges, then, we find that the astrological influences are not so much because of the certain position of the Sun or the Moon or the Stars, but because of their relationship which is a relativity of influence or force; for, being from the body or materialization, there is the activity of the soul in the environs in which certain influences have been and are accredited to the activities from those planetary sojourns. Thus they become as signs, omens in the experience.

9. Thus we find that Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Uranus become - in the order indicated - those influences that produce or have those inclinations in the influences and affairs of the entity in this present experience.

10. There are the high mental abilities; the entity is the thinker; it thinks for self as well as planning for those applications in the relationships of others.

11. Hence we find these are rather inclined to become those in which there may be the great development as well as the disturbing forces.

12. For each soul enters a material experience for some application of self, and is constantly meeting itself. For the will, of course, is the birthright of every soul, and thus chooses those directions or applications in which there will be made use of those tenets or rules or regulations that are ideals or ideas in the experience of the entity.

13. Then, there is the will of the creative forces and the purposes for which each soul or entity enters an experience. For He hath not willed that any soul should perish, but has with every temptation prepared a way, a means not only of escape but of turning that which may appear to be a physical conflict into greater channels for manifestation of the glorifying of the name of the Father, the Son - THROUGH the application of self in its relationships to its opportunities and conditions that present themselves in the experience of an entity.

14. Hence in Venus we find the love of the beautiful, the love of the arts as related to all the relationships to individuals. Yet to the entity these will be made more practical in the experience. Hence to the entity as much artistry may be made in the setting of a hen as in the cultivating of a flower, if it is done with the purpose of making or applying in the experience of an individual a constructive influence or force.

1947-1 Page 3

15. Also we have in Venus an afflictive force in the Uranian. Hence we will find there will be experiences when it will appear to be expedient for changes in the marital relationships. These come from those very activities from the appearances in the earth, as well as from the relationships or ideals that are applied in the experience in the material world.

16. But, know that the home, its influence, its activity - not only for self but for those who may be dependent upon the entity - is the nearer akin to the ideal relationship between the spiritual and the mental and material activities of each soul.

17. Hence the greater of all the abilities of an entity is the ability to build an ideal in the home. Rather than so much the ideal home, the ideal in the home; that there may be the seed of the spirit of truth - which is first in patience, long-suffering, brotherly love, kindness, gentleness, forbearance. These are the influences as shown that only the spirit may quicken and bring forth fruit according to that purpose and manner of the cultivating of same in the experience of each entity or each soul.

18. In Jupiter we find again the abilities of the entity for a career in its relationship to the world of affairs, to places and conditions. All of these become a part of the entity through the MENTAL or innate urges - and the abilities of the entity to direct or control others in their activity, whether from the relationships that are supplied by the mental influences or forces of the entity itself or the training of the young for their places or position, - these become a part of the entity's experience.

19. From Uranus we find the extremes. And the entity itself finds itself in its extremes of thinking, and yet the occult and the mystic also come through this influence as a portion of the urges for the entity. These are well if they are made practical in the application of same in relationships to others.

20. In the activities, then, these are innate urges. As to what the entity does with these depends upon the choices and the ideals that have been and are made.

21. As to the appearances in the earth, these - to be sure - are quite varied, as may be indicated from the very activities of the entity in the Atlantean period. Of course, there have been many appearances in the earth since the Atlantean.

22. For, before this we find the entity's greater development was in the land of the present nativity, or near to same, but the inception or the activities were from the

1947-1 Page 4

eastern land.

23. Hence from the journeyings of the entity to the western lands then, there are those influences induced or brought in the present wherein there will be found the greater abilities, the greater opportunities, the greater channels for outlet will be not in the eastern portion of the land but rather in the western. Whether in the land or country of the nativity or to the farther south depends upon the choices as may be made by the entity itself.

24. From that sojourn we find the urges not only from the emotional nature. For the sojourn of an entity in materiality finds its expression in the physical through the emotions of the body. Hence vibratory influences or environs become as a greater motivating force from such.

25. Hence the entity will find in the western land that the vibrations, the emotions, the activity, much more conducive to a greater development.

26. And if the opportunities are offered there, accept same; for as such were a part of the development of the entity then as Emma Lee Slaughton, we find that the entity made for developments, advancements - not only in its relationships to others but in its duties and in its understandings of the spiritual relationships in the material forces of individuals.

27. For the entity then, as would be called in the present, was a conductress of the games, or the exercises, or the activities of the young for development of body, development of mind, development of the adaptability to TIME self as in relationships to not only the physical activities but to the use of time in its distribution to the various phases entering into human experience.

28. And there was not the lacking in the experience of the spiritual development. For the three phases of man's relationship to the Creative Forces, to the world and to self, all have their part in the making of the oneness or the at-onement to that purpose for which each soul manifests. For there is the body, the mind, the soul - same as the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Each is a pattern of the other - they are one, dependent upon one another.

29. Then, interpret not spiritual things by material affairs, nor material affairs by spiritual alone. True, the motivating force must be the spirit of truth - as is the Holy Spirit the motivating force of man's relationship to God and to the fellow man. And as the Mind is represented by the Christ-Way, it becomes the channel upon which or through which there is builded the greater understanding.

30. In the experience the entity gained, and in the present

1947-1 Page 5

the application of self in such directions as applied either in the home or in relationships to others offers the greater channel of expression in which the entity may make for those gains not only for the contentment but for the harmony that such produces within the experience of the entity.

31. Before that we find the entity was in the Roman land, as with the Grecians; and the entity was in close relationship to those games, as well as those activities as related to the development of body for not only the propagation of the family but for the activities of service in which physical prowess would excel.

32. Hence we find all of outdoor sports or games or things of chance become an innate portion of the entity, and may find means of expression or activity in such - whether in those games that have been called the more recent development or those that were of old - all become a part of the entity's experience.

33. For the entity then was an athlete, and one in whom there were the developments that brought not only praise but the material as well as a great deal of mental experience and development - in the name Elon.

34. In the experience the entity gained, the entity lost. During the experiences when the abilities were applied for the greater advancement for EVERY individual, it gained. When they were used or applied for self's own indulgence, for self's own abilities to gain greater applause or praise from the masses, such became a stumbling-stone in the experience.

35. And so in the application of self in the present, all or one must be considered - the one meaning not self but the relationships to others to those privileges and opportunities as well as duties, must be considered as one.

36. And then the ideal - what is thy ideal? Not as to what others should do to thee, but what is the ideal manner in which thy own soul, thy own self should bear in relationships to others. THIS becomes the manner, the choice, the way in which the entity must determine in self as to the choices of the ways that are before self in the present - as it was in those periods when there were the activities in Greece as well as in Rome, in which the entity brought forth the united efforts for a peoples that were to become mighty in power, having bodies sufficient to carry forward that as was purposed in their MENTAL abilities.

37. Before that we find the entity was in the 'city in the hills and the plains.'

38. It was during those periods when those from the Aegian and from the Grecian forces sent maidens as a part of those

1947-1 Page 6

inducements to bring about disturbing forces in the experience of Uhjltd, the leader.

39. There we find the entity was among those who became very much attached to those activities on account of the illnesses that were healed by the attention of that teacher, that leader.

40. Hence the entity became as one that was among those who were converts to those activities, and yet the entity felt as in duty bound to those who had prompted the material activities. Thus the experience became as a turmoil - until that at-onement of purpose was found within self as it ministered to the needs of those of every degree of society or social position in those experiences.

41. Hence the abilities in the present as a nurse, as a companion, as a teacher, a minister to the needs of others, are innate within the experience of the entity. And these become the very influences that oft upset the entity mentally.

42. But again the ideal must be that place or that condition in which choices are to be made as respecting what the material activities would be.

43. The name then was Ernor.

44. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there were those activities there from the Atlantean land.

45. For the entity was an Atlantean who came into the Egyptian land with the leaders, the teachers, those who were to preserve the records of the activities of the Law of One.

46. Though the entity had been among those of royalty, as would be called in the present, or an altar maid in the Atlantean experience, there were those closer associations with the children of Belial - and yet the associations and activities forced the entity as it were to leave the land, for the greater expression or expansion in the Egyptian influence.

47. Hence we find the entity was among those who in the early portion of its Egyptian sojourn stirred up the strifes that had been attempted to be placated by the unity of purpose.

48. Later we find the entity, with those activities of the Priest Ra-Ta and the activities of the individuals who were set as a part of the preparation for individual service in the choice of individuals for the better activity, through their cleansing in the Temple of Sacrifice as well as their proportionate activity in the Temple Beautiful - the entity became a power and a might in and among those who made such choices.

1947-1 Page 7

49. And the entity was known then as the "great mother" of those who became emissaries from the Egyptian land. Many were the offspring of the entity put into authority in the land of Said, as well as On and Og and the Carpathian, as well as that land now known as the Spanish, as well as the Aryans in the American land.

50. Hence the entity often sees in its visions the activities as of a great WHOLE, a great understanding - and yet not quite able oft to materialize same as to a material activity.

51. Again may it be said, turn to the ideal within. Know that He is the Way, and that as His promises were to the children of the Law of One so are they to those who seek His ways in the present.

52. The name then was Has-Shad.

53. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:

54. Study to show thyself approved unto thy ideal. Know in Whom and in what ye have believed, and know that the Author of thy belief must be able to keep thee through ANY experience that may arise in a material and mental and spiritual phase of thy activity.

55. Thus may ye find thyself, thy place in fulfilling that purpose for which ye came into material experience; dividing the words of truth into their correct relationship to the various phases of thy emotional life, of thy physical life, of thy spiritual life. For they must be one, and yet they must bear their relationships one to another, as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

56. For as He gave, "If I go not away the spirit of truth cometh not." What meaneth this? Not merely the passing. For it was the moving of the spirit that brought materiality into existence as a THING, as a condition, for the souls and spirits and minds of men! And thus HE IS the way, as He is the mind, and without Him there is no other way.

57. Ready for questions.

58. (Q) What have been my relationships in the past with my two children, [2004] and [2005], as well as my present husband, [2381]? what are the urges in the present, and what should be our relationship in the remainder of this life for our mutual development? (A) With the children - these in the Atlantean experience were close to the activities that ye carried on in the Egyptian land, being in much the same position as in the present. For as ye guided them then, as may be seen from the paralleling of their purposes of experience and sojourn in the land, so may ye in the present guide them to fill the

1947-1 Page 8

places which will supply what may be called by many the new generation, a new channel of expression. As to the husband - we find these relationships have been quite varied. For in the material experience before this we find there was rather a close relationship as a friend, as one in whom there was a great deal of trust and faith; while in the Roman land and Grecian-Roman activities there was the closer relationship as a brother. Hence we find in the present the relationships have altered, do alter. They change - each becoming moved from the seeking for the expression of self. As we find, as to whether this will only be a partial or permanent separation (for separation it will be, for a time) depends upon the choices as to whether or not this will be renewed again.

59. (Q) If he goes West, should I go with him or stay in present location? (A) Better for SELF to go West!

60. (Q) If I stay, will it be temporary or permanent separation? (A) That will again become a matter of choice. The abilities to carry on in the present environ for material gains, material success, are well; but for the development mentally and spiritually, go West - O soul - go West!

61. (Q) If I go with my husband, how should I handle his pessimism, oppression and opposition to nearly everything I undertake? (A) Live thine own life in such a way and manner that there is no question in thine own conscience, and let him be that as he may.

62. (Q) What have been my past relationships with my present friend, [1991]? what are the urges to be met in the present, and what should be our relationship? (A) As there was the dependence one upon the other through those experiences in the 'city in the hills and plains,' as well as in a part of the Egyptian experience, there are in the present the urges for a dependence one upon the other for the counsel, for the advice. In the Egyptian experience the present friend was then the companion or consort through a portion of the activities there, and for material and mental development. In the Persian experience, or the 'city in the hills and the plains,' the entity nursed that friend through a period of illness. As to what the relationships are to be in the present, - this will depend upon choices that are to be made in the associations or relationships with others.

1947-1 Page 9

But keep the children with the self! For as they are dependent upon thee, as they WERE a part of thy greater development, give them the opportunities in the present!

63. (Q) Will there be any trouble in keeping the children? (A) There should be no trouble in keeping the children. Just so conduct thine own self, thine own material and mental affairs, that no questions may be asked.

64. (Q) What should I do about my friend [1991], in the present? (A) Keep that inviolate! [9/4/39 See 1991-1, Par. 55-A--57-A, & 1947-3, Par. 54-A, 55-A.]

65. (Q) Should I separate from my husband? (A) This, as has been indicated, is at hand. As to whether it is to be permanent or only temporary will depend upon the activities of each. The DEVELOPMENT has been fulfilled. The activities for greater expansion are a matter of choice.

66. (Q) When should the separation take place? (A) This is dependent upon the choice he is to make. This will be, as we find, in September.

67. (Q) How should it happen? (A) Of his own accord!

68. (Q) Should I continue with my music teaching? (A) Continue with that training, not only of the music but the counsel to the young, as well as in their physical and their mental activities. This IS a part of thy whole development. But go West as soon as practical or possible.

69. (Q) What should be my profession? (A) That as we have indicated - the training of the young for the developing of better bodies, better choices in all of the arts pertaining the physical and mental and spiritual development.

70. (Q) How could I go West, under present conditions? (A) The choices as will be made, for propositions as will be offered.

71. (Q) How can I develop my profession in training young children? (A) As indicated, study the ideals that are of a spiritual 0 nature, but that are applicable and practical in a mental and a material manner. These OPEN the way for the understanding of each individual. And as ye understand and make application, the greater success comes - also the greater abilities come for the activities that present themselves, see?

72. (Q) How should I go about it? (A) Just in using that thou hast in hand. Study, of course, HIS ways, HIS approach to men. They are applicable in the lives of those that are only able even to think.

1947-1 Page 10

73. (Q) School children? (A) School children as well as those of all ages. STUDY the lives. Study first the life of the Master, and apply those principles in the periods of activity in such a way and manner for body and mind and emotional developments.

74. (Q) Will I be a teacher? (A) CAN be, if the choice is made in same - whether it is of the vocational nature, or music, of calisthenics, or bodily developments, or only of the arts. All of these are the experience of the entity.

75. (Q) Should I continue with my school or choir, or both? (A) Both.

76. (Q) Should I write? If so, what? (A) By all means! those things pertaining to the bodily developments of individuals for special service and activities in the affairs of men!

77. (Q) What should I do to draw an abundant or sufficient financial income to take care of my needs and opportunities for my children, and thus eliminate financial worries? (A) As ye apply thyself in the training of the children of others, as well as thine own, ye will find there will come the supply of the material things; for as ye give, ye receive.

78. (Q) Should I watch either or both children for any particular danger? (A) No particular danger in the immediate - not until after next year.

79. (Q) Is writing the best development for training children? (A) This should be a part of the activity, for it should be a well-rounded development. This should be a part of same, to be sure.

80. (Q) Should I start or associate with a school, for this training and development of children? (A) As we find, it should be started first and then gradually will be associated with a school. 1

81. (Q) Will this opportunity come to me? (A) This opportunity will come to the entity, if it makes the choice to start.

82. (Q) It will come naturally? (A) It will come naturally, through regular channels.

83. (Q) What should I do to help my children? (A) Study them - their manners, their ways, their PHYSICAL developments.

84. We are through for the present.
