Time of Reading ... High School, 10:30 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.C.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [1947], who seeks information, advice and guidance as to her health and general problems. You will answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1947]. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Will my hearing clear up? If so, when? Or, will I regain my hearing? (A) As we find, in making the osteopathic adjustments, there should be consideration of the tendency for prolapsus in the Eustachian tubes. And if this is corrected so that there is a better balance there, we will not only find the hearing will gradually be restored, as the tubes are cleansed, but also other disturbances to the sensory system - as to the eyes and the nerves of same - will be materially improved. Have some adjustments and corrections, then, in that area. If there are not the proper adjustments to be made by the present osteopath, have such a treatment once in two weeks or three times a month by one such as Richardson who is a specialist in that direction; with suggestions FROM him to the general osteopath for the treatments that would be continued after his corrections, see?

4. (Q) Am I in danger of eventually losing the sight in my right eye? How can it be strengthened? (A) Not if the corrections are made, where there has been the tendency for the catarrhal conditions to cause pressures in the areas indicated. Have such corrections as indicated, then. These may be necessary only about two weeks apart, then three months apart - if the general treatments are continued as such a specialist would indicate, see?

5. (Q) Should I go to Dr. Pearce in Greensboro for help with my eyes? (A) As we find, help may be best had in the manner

1947-4 Page 2

indicated - rather than through the treatments by Pearce.

6. (Q) Should I go to him for help with my children's eyes? (A) This may be determined by the condition of the children. But if so desires, this may be done.

7. (Q) What should I do about the sore spot in front of right arm pit? (A) The stimulations osteopathically to those portions of the cerebrospinal centers from which the mammary glands receive their impulses should ELIMINATE this soreness, by the setting up of drainages through the area and the elimination of the disturbing conditions existing there.

8. (Q) What causes my occasional facial skin eruptions? How can they be eliminated? (A) These are the effects of poor eliminations or coordinations between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal system. Increase the eliminations with such as Eno Salts; a teaspoonful taken each morning before the meal is taken, for a period of ten days; then leaving off for five to six days; then taking again. Two or three courses of this should aid in the eliminations. Also those tendencies from the nerve pressures in the system cause bad eliminations, or excess eliminations through the organs of the pelvis - or leucorrhea - which is a stress upon the general nervous system. For this we would use Atomidine douche about once a week, which should be sufficient to clear this disturbance. The proportions would be a teaspoonful of Atomidine to a quart of water, body-temperature; used in a Fountain Syringe douche. This is a contributory cause to the poor eliminations in the areas indicated - that is, between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system circulation, or the superficial elimination and the alimentary canal. Also the stimulation osteopathically for better eliminations through alimentary canal will aid, with the other conditions, if they are carried in the manner as indicated.

9. (Q) Would it be harmful to use my violet ray machine often? (A) This as we find, if used once a day should be sufficient, and not over three minutes at the time.

10. (Q) What causes my occasional nervousness? (A) As indicated. The poor eliminations, and the pressures through same upon the general superficial nervous system, and actions through the impulses to the sympathetics.

11. (Q) Will it be harmful for me to take pancreatin tablets for weight gaining? Would pancreatin plus bile salts tablets be better? If so, how often? (A) As we find, we would not take the pancreatin tablets until there is a better condition, a better balance established between the superficial and deeper circulation. For, these irritations being removed will aid in the body being able to better control the nervous forces - and hence there should be a better digestion.

12. (Q) Could I substitute a Catalyn tablet, containing all vitamins, for one Codiron tablet per day? (A) The Codiron tablet is the better balanced for the vitamins. Make more or better vitamins by the correct diet. As we find, Codiron or Adiron is the better; and then add with same at least twice a week the whole wheat (cracked wheat) or steel cut oats; each of these once or twice a week, see, and cooked a long time in a double boiler. These with milk, or cream and milk, would be MOST beneficial to the body-increase, adding those vitamins that are better for body-building. These would be taken as cereals, not only of morning but as a gruel in the evening also - and the body will rest much better!

13. (Q) Do I need to take an extra amount of Vitamin C for gums? (A) Use rather the Ipsab as a massage, to purify and stimulate the gums; for those vitamins as indicated will make for the better balance.

14. (Q) What causes dandruff? Can you give a formula for curing it? (A) It's poor circulation - and, of course, a germicidal condition which arises from the poor circulation. Use alternately as a shampoo Listerine once a week, then the next week a pure tar soap as a wash or shampoo. These would keep the scalp clean and keep down the tendency for dandruff. This will also tend to make a better condition of the scalp and thus preserve or retain, and in some cases gradually keep, the right color of for the hair.

15. (Q) What causes gray hair, and how can it be prevented? (A) This arises from many, many causes - but it is a general condition of the stimulation to the scalp pores or of the hair itself. It may be worry, it may come from anxiety, it may come from fear or fright, or from - as indicated - lack of elements in the superficial circulation. In the type of circulation as indicated, as we find here, - when the body uses the violet ray, use also occasionally - not every time, but occasionally - the scalp applicator, or

that which works like a rake through same, see?

16. (Q) Would you give me a formula for destroying superfluous hair, but which does not injure the skin in any way? (A) There's no such animal! This may best be done by diet, AND the applications to the skin for keeping the pores open AND the body-actions better - such as the Black and White Creams (the GENUINE Black and White preparations, made in Chicago - NOT Plough's).

17. (Q) What causes colds? Can you give me a formula or method of preventing them, or curing them? (A) Keep the body alkaline! Cold germs do not live in an alkaline system! They do breed in any acid or excess of acids of ANY character left in the system.

18. (Q) How can people avoid aging in appearance? (A) The MIND!

19. (Q) How can sagging facial muscles be avoided? How corrected? (A) By massage, and the use of those creams as indicated, over the chin and throat, around the eyes, and such conditions. Occasionally the use also of the Bonicello (?) [Boncilla] or mud packs would be very good.

20. (Q) Regarding my daughter [2004]'s Life Rdg., did difference of 3 days made in statement of birthdate make any difference in the information given? (A) Had the information been given from a purely astrological aspect, a minute or half an hour - yes ten minutes at least, might make a difference in the report. But this is read from the records of the entity, and NOT from the exact birth date as related to the astrological inclinations - for these were taken from the records themselves. Hence, these are quite right.

21. (Q) Does she need a Physical Reading? (A) This will depend upon the general conditions.

22. (Q) Regarding my building, which my mother manages, how should I go about selling it? (A) As we find, only through the regular channels - that is, the proper advertising, the proper relationships of individuals through whom it may be apparent that it is on the market. Through the regular channels are the only manners or means, as may be given from here.

23. (Q) Any further advice at this time? (A) Be consistent, mentally and spiritually; and then act, materially or physically, in that manner.
