Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: (Said something in undertone - could only make out one word which sounded like "Himmel!") [GD's note: Mr. [1961] was German and spoke little or no English. This exclamation meaning "heaven" might have expressed his aggravation caused by the itch on his leg at the time of the reading.]

3. Yes, we have the body, [1961].

4. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better normal physical conditions.

5. These have to do specifically with the effects produced by a poor circulation in the lower extremities, as caused by conditions existent in the centers from which the impulses arise to create a normal circulatory force.

6. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1961].

7. The blood supply indicates there are hindrances in the circulation, as well as is indicated by the variation in the temperature in one portion of the body and in the other extremity.

8. Also the indications that affect the digestive system arise from poor elimination, in some portions of the system where there is an excess at times of refuse forces to be carried through the excretory system.

9. In the nerve system we find the indications of the location of a hindrance, where impulses to the nerve forces in the lumbar axis as well as in the lower portion of the dorsal area (9th, 10th, 11th) would indicate there was a hindrance to the locomotories in the lumbar and sacral area, as well as that which has existed from strain by activity of the body under stress and disturbance mentally, as related

to others, in those positions where there are affectations to the extremities of the body; thus building not only physically but mentally those barriers and hindrances to a perfectly normal coordination between the spiritual, mental and physical forces of the body.

10. As to the functioning of the organs themselves - those subluxations in the lower part of the cerebrospinal system affect reflexly the organs of elimination - kidneys and liver; thus upsetting sympathetically, through reflexes of the imaginative forces, or vegetative nerve system; thus bringing in the lower extremities and on portions of the limbs a rash - in the form of a hindrance to better locomotion and to the better activity. This upsets also the digestive forces - and so these must be considered, as well as the attitude mentally and physically, as well as the applications - ("a child there") - that would be necessary for the eliminating of the disturbances which have already been existent in the system.

11. While there may be corrections made in a mechanical (osteopathic) manner that would relieve the tension, unless precautions are taken for stimulating the circulatory system to an activity to relieve the tension we would only produce other disturbances by leaving in portions of the system the effects of the disturbance that would break out in another form of irritation to the superficial circulation.

12. First, in making the adjustments osteopathically - as much correction must be done in portions of the heel and feet as in the lumbar axis and throughout the sacral; as well as the coordinating in the 9th, 10th, and 11th dorsals with the repressions (that are to be removed) in the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical area. Especial attention, then, should be given to the bursae in the heel and in the ball of the feet. Every third day we would have such adjustments osteopathically - for three to four weeks.

13. Throughout the period we would have once a week the colonic irrigation, using in same both salt and soda; the proportions being a level teaspoonful of baking soda and a heaping teaspoonful of table salt in half a gallon of water. This will tend to relieve those tensions that have arisen from the natural inflection causing constipation, as well as the absorption of same in the intestinal tract will carry through the lymph absorption a healing and a strengthening to the organs of the pelvis - namely, those especially of the prostates (that give trouble at times), the testes, and the bladder and kidneys. Also it will tend to reduce the tendency for greater acidity in the alimentary canal or colon proper.

14. We would apply externally a compound called LeNoir's Eczema Remedy. The basis of this is acetanilide and hence is an analgesic as well as carrying the persimmon that acts as an allaying of the irritation in such a manner as the superficial circulation is affected; and, with the osteopathic adjustments and the colonics as indicated, may pick up the disturbance and relieve it through alimentary canal eliminations. [GD's note: LeNoir's Eczema Remedy is prepared by Cawton-Coleman Drug Co., Selma, Ala. See under 660-1 Reports.]

15. In the matter of the diets - these should consist of not too much of fats, and keep away from too much of the hard drink, though malt - as a beer or wine, if not excessively used - would not be harmful; even if the Agar were used as a bulk to aid the peristaltic movements through the jejunum, aiding also the eliminations from stomach and duodenum.

16. The Agar would be taken consistently - that is, a teaspoonful at least twice a day for ten days, left off ten days and then taken again in the same manner, and so on - throughout the periods when the osteopathic treatments and the vibratory forces by the corrections would be received in the system.

17. We would also have fruits and vegetables. Raw vegetables should be the principal part of one meal each day - raw, fresh, green vegetables.

18. Cooked vegetables are alright, but these should not be of the natures that are so much of the leafy; though the leaf variety rather than the pod or dried.

19. Do these, as we find, and we will find we will bring the better conditions for this body, [1961].

20. Ready for questions.

21. These as we find will also reduce that tendency for the disturbed metabolism of the circulatory forces.

22. (Q) What will alleviate itch on lower leg? (A) The application of that as indicated - LeNoir's Eczema Remedy.

23. (Q) What is condition of blood? (A) As indicated, there is a great deal of disturbance owing to the poor elimination and the disturbance this has produced in both the kidneys and bladder, as well as a disturbance in the liver activity. But with the use of these and the colonic irrigations to purify the system, alleviating the drosses and the tendencies there for forms of the conditions which exist in portions of the colon, and with the proper diet, we should

bring better forces for this body.
