Born November 11, 1882, in Brochow, Poland. Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.J.
1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them.
2. EC: (In going back over the years from the present - " - '26 - yes, Timotheus [Polish pronunciation of his name, Thomas?] - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1965].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these interpretations are chosen with the intent and purpose and desire that such information may be helpful in the present experience of the entity; that there may be a greater comprehension of the purposes for which each soul manifests in the material plane.
5. For it is not by chance but through the purposes of a divine source, that each soul may become aware of its relationships to the Creator, and through the relationships with the individuals put into the growth of the soul that as may make it worthy of living, dwelling, abiding within the presence of that which is holy.
6. For, as the flesh and blood may not of itself inherit eternal life, neither may the desires or the weaknesses, nor the impulses of same, be a part of the experience; but the purpose, the aims, the desires must be in keeping with those intents and desires that make for the greater creative influences in the experience of each and every soul.
7. Thus are the lessons gained by an entity through its
1965-1 Page 2
sojourns in material experiences, and thus are the lessons pointed out in giving the interpretations as to the application of self in the material plane, as well as the urges that remain from the interims of planetary sojourn between the earthly sojourns.
8. Remember then those purposes - these are given that the experience may be helpful. For, being forewarned, be forearmed and thus allow not thine own house, thine inner self, thy temple of the living God to be broken up, neglected, torn down or cast away; but build that which is eternal in the strength, the power, the might of the promises that are in His word, in His relationships with man.
9. For He hath not willed that any soul should perish, but has with each temptation given a way, a manner, a means through which a soul may know in patience, in time, in space, its closer relationships to those Creative Forces.
10. Irrespective of the urges that are manifested or latent, these as we find are as a composite of those arising from the material sojourns as well as the astrological aspects:
11. The entity finds itself oft too easily led by others.
12. Oft the entity finds itself imposed upon by others.
13. These are well, provided they do not create a disgust with self or a dislike or a rebuking influence within self, to see another use that which has been the very child of the entity's brain to make great material gains. If it produces dislike or hate, then ye know that trouble lies within self; and it not being selfishness, nor yet selflessness, it must be lack of concentration, lack of a motive for the activity.
14. The impulse arises, but the impulse or desire to put same into practice for a given aim or desire is lacking.
15. This needs, then, cultivation.
16. As to the astrological aspects, then - we find Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Uranus as the ruling influences.
17. A high mental ability. A great deal of vision and dream, but practicality is needed with the dreams also.
18. Be not too easily led, nor too easily dissuaded from ventures that the entity would undertake.
19. Those things then that pertain to nature and to nature's storehouse, those things that pertain to and that arise from the very activity of man's material labors upon same, may be channels or sources through which greater material gains may be obtained. But know that material things alone do not bring contentment - they only bring contention, unless harmony and peace abide also with same.
20. And what is the purpose - that ye may outshine this or that neighbor, or that ye are fearful of the morrow because
1965-1 Page 3
of want or need? Go to the ant, thou sluggard - understand his ways and be wise! Remember, of course, the song of the grasshopper, as well as the ant or the bee - but know in Whom ye have believed. For He, the Giver of all good and perfect gifts, has given these - the handiwork of His creation - as a pattern or example or lesson, that ye - too - may learn. They choose by their instinct. Ye learn by application of choice, by working with not only the hands and brain, but with the hands and the minds of others also.
21. For in those things as make for the mental ability and the influences with the masses do we find the greater influence - as in Jupiter, and the changes as come in Saturn, and the extremes in Uranus. And if these are balanced in the love of God for His love to thee, and that which ye may show in thy dealings with thy fellowman, - these as purposes and ideals, and not as things merely to be seen or witnessed by others, built in thy experience, - there will be brought a purpose, an outlook, a desire, a hope that will take away from the experience of the entity much of the doubt and fear which has so oft existed.
22. For know, as ye sow, so shall ye reap - as is indicated by that being reaped in the present from the experience before this.
23. Before this, then, we find the entity was in the land of the present sojourn - again an incomer from another land; being among those of the soldiery who came with the English army during those periods of the Revolution - in the name Joseph Koskuko.
24. In the experience we find the entity was inclined to lose. While there were the activities, they were merely for hire; there were accomplishments, but for fame; there were those associations that brought activities in which the name was well-spoken of, but they - too - had their reward in the material experiences.
25. Hence under the present sojourn and activity the entity has come into those experiences where all of these have been a part of the experience, and yet had to be sought, and yet have not satisfied. And only in the promises found in the peace of those that love His coming may there be known that harmony which may bring into the material experience contentment - not satisfied to sit down. Too easily does this become an experience of the entity. For as it begins to doubt self and its relationships and activities with individuals and associations, too oft the feeling of "What's the use?" becomes the answer to most of the entity's wonderments.
26. Know that the Lord is still in His holy temple, and it
1965-1 Page 4
is thine OWN temple in which He has promised to meet thee - if ye will have Him abide with thee.
27. Before that we find the entity was in the Roman land during those periods when there were the attempts to conquer the Egyptian land; with the soldiery and with Mark Anthony did the entity know the activities about the pharaohs or the activities in that experience there on the Nile.
28. There we find the entity was a soldier, yet a decorator; one that was capable of making suggestions for the dressing of the various activities for pageants, as well as for activities of ships, decorations of homes or for special occasions.
29. Hence those things that have to do with the home, or those things that would dwell within same, or those things that would be the decorations of same of any nature or character - whether for the walls or the rooms or the hangings - any of these would be an outlet for the entity's experience in this present sojourn, for material gain as well as for supplying an outlet for the mental abilities of the entity.
30. The name then was Mesdes.
31. Before that we find the entity was in the Promised Land, for there the entity sought the entrance with the children of Judah, among those peoples who were made to be judges in Israel; Gehuah being the name of the entity during those experiences when the counselors were taken at Jericho, Ai, and the divisions of the land when the peoples came to Shiloh for the division, and the drawing of lots for the various portions.
32. Hence we find the entity again was so easily satisfied. Contentment seek, rather than gratifying or satisfying of material or mental or even spiritual desires. Study to show thyself approved, a workman not ashamed, but rightly divining the words of truth and keeping self unspotted from those things that would contaminate. Thus there may be those experiences in the activity of the entity in the present in which that which is peace, that which is beautiful, that which is understanding, will become a part of the entity's experience.
33. Ready for questions.
34. (Q) You will please guide me as to what I should do in the following situations: What can I do to further improve my present furniture business? (A) As indicated, in the manner of the decorations and the manner of presenting same, in the manner of making for those things that will give the greater advertising abilities for the entity, in its ability to decorate and plan for the
1965-1 Page 5
building of homes for others.
35. (Q) Should I invest more money in my business or invest in outside propositions? (A) Do not put the eggs all in one basket, nor have them so scattered as to not be equal to the situations in any. Put more money into the business in those directions indicated.
36. (Q) What is the best investment for me to invest my surplus money in? (A) In the furniture business!
37. (Q) What will be the safest way for me to protect my surplus money? (A) This depends upon what it is protected for! This depends upon what is thy purpose, what is thy aim, what is thy desire. Study that which has been indicated, and then look within self and see. Know that money, as name, may take wings and fly away - unless used or applied in that which gives reverence, and shows appreciation, and applies self as well as money in appreciation of those sources from which it came. And the earth is the Lord's, and the silver and the gold are His, as are the cattle on the hills. Then, with whom would you invest same? That thine own body might be satisfied? Or that thou might be protected in thine old age? Who giveth thee life? Seek the Lord while He may be found; for He alone giveth that as brings peace and happiness and harmony in the experience of the entity. And thus, as ye study to show thyself approved unto Him, the way may be opened and shown thee, and in that manner in which ye may use thyself, thy means, thy surplus, yea, thyself. Be happy to give thy surplus, to give THYSELF, to thy God!
38. (Q) Should I have branches to my present store or keep on in the same manner as now? (A) Very well.
39. (Q) Which is best, government Baby Bonds or some other type of government investment? (A) Government Baby Bonds are as good as may be invested in.
40. (Q) Should I ever buy stocks at any time? (A) And be sorry? No!
1965-1 Page 6
41. (Q) How and in what manner can I adopt to make my home life happier and my wife more pleased with my actions? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto thy Maker, a workman not ashamed, rightly dividing the words of truth and keeping self unspotted from the world. Do in thine own home as ye would have those in thy home do to thee. Not as a show, but with that feeling, that hope, that desire to show the appreciation of the love that is shown thee.
42. (Q) How can I keep my children happier and better pleased with their home life? (A) Make it a home they are proud of.
43. (Q) Should I buy a farm for future security? (A) Every man should own some land!
44. (Q) Where best to buy it? (A) Wherever it suits the best!
45. (Q) Should I invest in real estate anywhere - any special kind? (A) This again becomes a matter of choice - as to what it is FOR!
