Time of Reading 10:35 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. ..., N.J.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1965].

3. Now, as we find, while there are conditions which prevent the better physical functionings, these would be given rather as warnings - in that the present conditions have not assumed such proportions as to cause a great deal of discomfort, save occasionally. However, if these conditions are allowed to remain, there may become a disturbance of natures that would be hard to meet.

4. For, there are disturbances that produce tendencies, and the system attempting to meet the needs produces that as may become a chronic condition; thus involving other activities of the organs as to produce other forms of reaction of an entirely different nature.

5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1965] we are speaking of, present in this room:

6. In the blood supply we find there are conditions existent indicating that in portions of the system there are hindrances, or pressures upon the impulses to the circulation. Also there is the indication that these, in combination with other disturbances, may produce an involvement of the circulation directly between the heart, the lungs, the liver; though those pressures in the present are in the lumbar and sacral areas. But this slowing of the impulse to the lower limbs produces in nerve centers, as along the sciatic center and under the knee, and at times to the calf of the leg, the pains or catches, when the body has been on the feet or else sitting for a long period of time; or a stiffness that produces anxieties, and even pain.

7. These as we find extend themselves to the brush end of

1965-2 Page 2

the cerebrospinal nerve system, and in the area of the lumbar plexus and the ileum plexus there are those conditions that - with the pressures in the other portions reflexly to the areas indicated - may bring a condition through the ileum plexus, by the shortening of the impulse of better circulation; so that prostate trouble may also be a result.

8. Apparently these are entirely different from the sources or the causes in the present; but with the troubles removed (and these may be in the present removed) we would bring so much better reaction as to give the better influences for activity throughout the organs of the body, as to bring near to perfect normalcy to the physical health of the body.

9. The nerve system also indicates the position and the effect that is being produced from these pressures, as indicated, in the lumbar axis, through the sacral, the coccyx and the ileum plexus.

10. As such corrections are made, they would be coordinated with the 9th dorsal plexus, the brachial and the cervical plexus. Thus we will relieve these tensions throughout the body; preventing this slowing of conditions from involving the organs as indicated.

11. For, if the involvement in the lower portion produces a lesion (and there is a floating one in the present) in the upper dorsal, we will find - as occasionally occurs in the present - the dull headaches, a bit of dizziness, at times lack of proper assimilation of foods, or sudden fullness after eating - because of the slowness of the gastric flow activities to the pyloric portion of the stomach itself and through the duodenum. However, all of these effects should disappear if there will be the applications of such means as to correct the conditions that have caused these in the present.

12. We find that the effects arose from cold, congestion, and the attempts to use or to strain portions of the body now involved; thus causing first a stoppage, then gradually the growing of lesions that have affected the areas in the lower portion of the cerebrospinal system.

13. Then, in meeting these conditions:

14. We would correct these pressures in the spinal area by adjustments osteopathically made. As there is a great deal of tautness in the lumbar and the sacral areas, apply Wet Heat before attempting to make adjustments there. Make the adjustments and coordinate the other centers with same. Or, as might be said, this will be working almost opposite to that ordinarily attempted by a good osteopath. WE would suggest such an one as Dobbins, or Richmond (?). It is

1965-2 Page 3

necessary that there be some fifteen to sixteen adjustments, osteopathically administered. Take that number in the first series. Then leave off these for at least two or three weeks, and then have some six or eight more. Because the conditions improve, do not quit at the end of the first series.

15. Occasionally - at least two or three times each week - massage thoroughly the area from the last of the dorsals to the end of the spine with a compound prepared in this manner:

16. To 2 tablespoonsful of Mutton Tallow (melted), add - in the order named - in a jar or container, not metal, that may be kept covered: Spirits of Turpentine.........2 tablespoonsful, Spirits of Camphor............2 tablespoonsful. Stir this so that as it congeals or cools it will be thoroughly mixed. Then at least twice or three times a week massage this into the body, from the lower lumbars and coccyx and sacral to the dorsals. For this, with the other corrections made, will bring relief to the body.

17. It would be well at least once a month for the body to have a complete hydrotherapy treatment; that is, under the supervision of such as Reilly; including a colonic, a hot shower, then the sitz bath, then the cabinet sweat that is as much a fume bath as it is the dry heat. In the fume bath use Witchhazel, for the conditions of the body will respond to this; enabling the body, with the massage that follows, to create the better coordination with the general eliminating systems. And when the massage is given, use on the limbs - especially - an equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil; rubbing down afterward, of course, with the rub alcohol.

18. Have about four to six of the osteopathic adjustments from Dobbins before the first hydrotherapy treatment is taken at Reilly's. Then have about four more osteopathic treatments, and then another hydrotherapy treatment - and then the third one would come after the completing of the first series of the fifteen osteopathic adjustments, see?

19. Owing to those pressures in the brush end of the cerebrospinal system, there have been the tendencies for sympathetic reactions in the sympathetic or vegetative nerve system, as connects with activities or impulses in the 9th dorsal, in the vegetative or brachial nerve centers; causing the activities to be slowed through the colon. Thus there is caused a metabolism that may grow to be disturbing unless

1965-2 Page 4

taken in hand under such directions as we have indicated.

20. Do these and we will bring near normal conditions for the body.

21. In the matter of the diet, especially through the periods these applications are being made, these are the Don'ts rather than the Do's - hence the body should keep a near normal diet, though:

22. DO NOT take foods in quantities that grow under the ground, or that are of the bulbular nature. All of these carry those tendencies to produce formations that cause segregations in the system; and in this body there needs to be kept rather the tendency towards the liquidating - or liquid condition in the muscular forces, in the activities of the whole emunctory and lymph circulation. Hence the greater quantity should be of other foods; seldom taking those that grow under the ground.

23. These, we find, will bring better conditions for this body, [1965].

24. Ready for questions.

25. (Q) What should be done for the prostate condition? (A) As indicated, this is the result of other conditions; and as these pressures are removed, the prostate condition will gradually disappear. If this grows more and more severe, use the Elliott Heat Machine for same. But we do not find that such measures will be required, if there is the carrying out of the applications in full as we have outlined - for the condition will not reach such proportions as to require such.

26. (Q) What should be done for constipation? (A) As given, the hydrotherapy treatments with colonics; removing those tendencies for the slowing through the alimentary canal of the peristaltic movement. These will aid, and also the change in the diet will tend to make for betterment in this direction.

27. (Q) What should be done for vein on right leg, which makes that leg much weaker than the other one? (A) This is the effect of that slowed circulation by the lesion in the lumbar and ileum plexus. And with all these treatments as suggested, it should be aided. Use the equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil for massaging the limb, especially when the hydrotherapy treatments are given.

28. (Q) Should anything in particular be done for the nerves? (A) All of these applications are for the nerves! Do these; keeping the mental attitudes, of course, constructive throughout. Do not allow self to hold resentments of any kind, for these bring tensions in the

1965-2 Page 5

nerve system.

29. (Q) What will help the memory? (A) Just those things as being indicated here, with the mental attitudes. Remember, it requires the concerted activity of body, mind and purpose - or spirit, to remember that you mustn't get mad, that you mustn't hold grudges, that you mustn't hold animosities, that you mustn't allow self to get riled. Thus with such exercising of the mind, with a bettered body, there is a better memory.

30. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for Dr. Frank Dobbins, 551 Fifth Ave., N.Y.C.) Copy to Ass'n file (See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Dr. H. J. Reilly for the hydrotherapy treatments once a month, - R.C.A. Bldg., 1260 Sixth Ave., New York City. If you know of a Dr. Richmond (?) in your vicinity, an osteopath, please let us have his name and address, so we may put him on our list.)
