Time of Reading 3:00 to 3:25 P. M. Eastern War Time. Virginia Beach, Va.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1968], this we have had before.

3. As we find, there are great improvements in the general physical conditions of this body.

4. While there are still some tendencies, against these we would take precautions.

5. These as we find, then, are those tendencies in the present:

6. There are still those tendencies of an unbalanced condition in the thyroids; thus a tendency for the lack of the proper eliminations; while there are bettered conditions in this direction, both with the thyroid and the adrenals.

7. We would continue to have a period of a week each month, then, when we would take one to two drops each day of the Atomidine.

8. We would now take the hydrotherapy treatments about twice a month; to aid in keeping that stimulation in the body forces. And when the massages following the hydrotherapies are given, have especially a thorough kneading - rather than corrections - along the cerebrospinal system.

9. About once in three weeks have a RELAXING adjustment, osteopathically; this rather to keep the toning of the centers in their order and their relationships one to another, in the glandular forces of the body.

10. For making or keeping a good complexion - this for the skin, the hands, arms and body as well, we would prepare a compound to use as a massage (by self) at least once or twice each week.

11. To 6 ounces of Peanut Oil, add: Olive Oil.............2 ounces, Rosewater.............2 ounces,

1968-7 Page 2

Lanolin, dissolved....1 tablespoonful.

12. This would be used after a tepid bath, in which the body has remained for at least fifteen to twenty minutes; giving the body then a thorough rub with any good soap to stimulate the body-forces. As we find, Sweetheart or any good Castile soap, or Ivory, may be used for such.

13. Afterwards, massage this solution, after shaking it well. Of course, this will be sufficient for many times. Shake well and pour in an open saucer or the like; dipping fingers in same. Begin with the face, neck, shoulders, arms; and then the whole body would be massaged thoroughly with the solution; especially in the limbs - in the areas that would come across the hips, across the body, across the diaphragm.

14. This will not only keep a stimulating, with the other treatments as indicated taken occasionally, and give the body a good base for the stimulating of the superficial circulation, but will aid in keeping the body beautiful; that is, as to any blemish of any nature.

15. As to the diets - naturally there are those tendencies for a tiredness to the body from any activities when there is the least glandular disturbance, any emotional disturbance - whether from physical activity or disappointments, or emotions through such natures. So, keep an excess of foods that carry especially Vitamin B, iron and such. Not the concentrated form, you see, but obtain these from the foods. These would include all fruits, all vegetables that are yellow in their nature. Thus - lemon and orange juice combined, all citrus fruit juices; pineapple as well as grapefruit. Some of these should be a part of the diet each day.

16. Squash - especially the yellow; carrots, cooked and raw; yellow peaches; yellow apples (preferably the apples cooked, however).

17. All of these carry an excess or the greater quantity of necessary elements for supplying energies for the body, and that are much more easily assimilated by the body.

18. Yellow corn, yellow corn meal, buckwheat - all of these are especially good.

19. Red cabbage. Such vegetables, such fruits, are especially needed by the body.

20. If from any of these there are those tendencies for irritation, leave off that as would cause same. For, in some, iron is not always easily assimilated; especially where the thyroid and adrenals are a part of the disturbance.

21. Do these, and we will keep these conditions in the body

1968-7 Page 3

on the improve.

22. Then, the mental attitude:

23. Keep ever that as of the constructive; that is, knowing there is much for thee to do as a witness for the Creative Forces, for God, for Christ.

24. These ye manifest by thy relationships with thy fellow man. Be happy - be in that attitude of ever being helpful to others. These will bring that peace within that is the promise from Him.

25. Ready for questions.

26. (Q) What causes and what should be done for swelling in throat? (A) As indicated, this is a part of the disturbance in the glandular forces. Thus the necessity of those periods when there is kept the Atomidine, as well as the hydrotherapy, and the occasional osteopathic adjustment to keep the accordances in the body. These are the conditions included and referred to, in that given.

27. (Q) Should I continue the mud packs? (A) These are well occasionally; not too often. But with the weekly or semi-weekly massage with the oil and the water treatment, this may not be so necessary. But once a month, for the very pleasure of it, we would have the mud pack,

28. (Q) What causes occasional pain in my right ankle? (A) Strain, and this from poor eliminations. But when the massage is given for the limbs, commence first at the hips and around either side of the limbs, massage downward. This should go with the sciatic center as well as around and under the knee, over the calf of the leg and down to the very feet themselves, massaging the soles of the feet. Then come backward, you see; that is, from the feet back towards the body. After the second or third of such massages, this disturbance should be eliminated.

29. (Q) Should I take any treatment for my tonsils, sinus, or wisdom teeth? (A) We would find that these that are indicated should take care of these. When there is the tendency for the least acidity in the system (which may be indicated by the metallic taste in the mouth), do have a good osteopathic adjustment, and ask that eliminations be set up better, see? This should take care of the sinus. For the teeth, use either Ipsab or an equal combination of salt and soda to massage the gums. Very soon there will be needed local attention for the wisdom teeth. For these, as ever - and especially where any condition arises that is a

1968-7 Page 4

disturbance in the metabolism, are very treacherous conditions for the body. But the salt and soda, or the Ipsab massage, will help considerable in this direction. Do these things and keep that mental attitude. For the body is very much improved. Keep the spiritual outlook, the correct mental attitude, and the physical well-being will be a beautiful result.

30. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for Mrs. [264]) Copy to Ass'n file (Extract of the complexion and skin tonic for loose-leaf book in Library on Health Hints.) ints.)
