Time of Reading ... St., 10:55 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Ark.
1. GC: You will have before you the entity [1968], born November 22, 1910, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who seeks further information, advice and guidance as to her life and work, through a better understanding of her past associations and their influence in the present. You will answer the questions she submits, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here, and that interpretation of same that has been made through these channels.
3. In analyzing self, and in seeking advice and counsel, remember this must be answered within. While there may be pointed out those inclinations and tendencies, associations and activities, as to what one does about same is according to that chosen as the ideal. This may not be stressed too much (the ideal) in the experience of an individual. For, while many are guided by circumstance of the moment, there is an ideal. This may be best indicated, as we have so oft given, according to what the tendencies have been through the varied experiences of an individual entity in the earth's plane.
4. Thus one is enabled to know what has been, and thus may be better able to say, "This I believe - This I hope for; this I determine to do."
5. These are innate, and yet many individuals do not think for themselves but follow rather the lead of others, or of circumstance; not this particular entity, though at times the entity is influenced by what others say.
6. When the entity acts upon the advice or counsel of others, it should be first well weighed within the body-consciousness - as to the choices made, as to whether in keeping with the ideals, spiritually, mentally, materially. And this will save much anxiety, and will keep peace and harmony within self.
7. For, self may never know the harmony unless the activities of the life are in keeping with the own ideals.

8. The ideals, then, become that ye worship. Some, to be sure, worship fame, others fortune, others social activities, others that of what people say.
9. These are consciously or unconsciously the factors that are the influences in the experiences of individuals.
10. Weigh these well.
11. For, herein lies that way that is expressed of old, "Today there is set before thee good and evil, life and death - choose thou." And, "Say not who will descend from heaven that I may KNOW, or who will come from far or near to bring a message; for, Lo, it is within thine own heart."
12. For, thy body is indeed the temple of the loving God. There He hath promised to meet thee. And know, the promise in Him Who is the way IS: "I stand at the door and knock, and whosoever will may open. And I will come in and abide with thee."
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) Should I attempt to make a more friendly relationship with [820] or try to meet someone else in order to carry out my destiny. (A) To be sure, as has been indicated, there is a destiny - if such a word may be used - to be worked out between self and [820]. Yet it is not always the choice of both that this is the time or the place. Consequently, one waits. And, as has been indicated by the psalmist, think and realize within self that ye are not waiting on an individual, ye are waiting on the Lord. For if ye have chosen and do choose correctly, ye will fill and fulfill that purpose the LORD hath with thee. And because this may be altered at some particular period of the experience, it is not to be considered that self has failed. Be well to show self friendly, as with every individual; but do not overstep thine own bonds of CONSCIOUS activity.
15. (Q) Whom should I try to meet? How and when? (A) As is experienced and interpreted in the life of the individual entity, [1968], the country, the nation, is at a state of emergency. And it will be for the next fourteen to sixteen months. Then, wait again. Let those opportunities as may come in any service ye may render - towards such activity be an outlet through which acquaintanceships or friendships may be builded. Do thine own part in ALL good consciousness, leaving the time and the place with Him, as ye express or manifest in thy talk with Him daily: "Thy will, O Father, be done in and through me, day by day; that I may indeed be

the channel to fulfill those purposes Thou hast for me. Not my will but Thine, O God, be done in and through me." [For confirmation of EC's clairvoyance and prophecy in [1968]'s rdgs. see 6/15/46 report under 1968-10.]
16. (Q) What should be my next definite step? (A) Just as indicated, keep in that accord of keeping in touch with those activities to meet all emergencies and conditions. And these will be the better manners, and the channels through which the associations and activities will come about.
17. (Q) Is there any special preparation I should make in the present in order to become a better homemaker? (A) Meeting the emergencies of a national, civil defense, will be the better channels to make for the satisfying, gratifying, and the fulfilling of the purposes in the immediate, see?
18. (Q) Would it be better for me to teach Sunday School or remain in a class for the present? (A) WE would teach; and choose those that are of the twelve to fourteen years of age.
19. (Q) Should I continue in my same job for the present? (A) For the duration, at least. Unless the entity is called into actual service in the national defense program.
20. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to offer the book, THERE IS A RIVER, to [...] to read? (A) This can best be determined by the choice within self. Discuss some phase of it with that entity, and see if there is an interest - then, offer same.
21. (Q) Is there anyone with whom I should attempt to discuss the Association at present? (A) This, too, must be answered within. As ye give out to others that ye have found good in thine own experience, it becomes more applicable and a more helpful experience in thine own self. These must be answered by opportunities. When ye find others seeking that which has been helpful to thee, indicate where help might be had. Then leave the choice to those who seek.
22. (Q) Is it best for me to continue in the motor corps or could I be more useful in some other field of civilian defense or war work? (A) If it is the ideal manner in which the self may better serve, then keep in that direction. If there is some other phase that appeals more, as being a better outlet for fulfilling of the ideals, choose that branch or phase of service.

23. (Q) Please clarify information in my Life reading regarding the experience as wife of Jairus. Was I the mother of the entity now known as [421], or the entity now known as [2485]? (A) The entity was one of the wives of Jairus, see, and the mother of that entity now called [421]. The entity, [2485], was then also a wife of Jairus, but not the mother of the daughter that was healed; rather being desirous that HER daughter [GD's note: Jairus' stepdaughter?] receive a blessing; and because of seeming indifference or change, brought disturbance to BOTH entities for a period.
24. (Q) When, where and how have I been previously associated with the following, and for what purpose have we been brought together this time? First, my mother, Mrs. [...] who died when I was two? (A) In the Promised Land, the present mother was then the mother in that experience. Those differences then made are helpful forces in the visions, dreams, meditations; though they are far apart in physical or material ways, they are helpful forces in the mental and spiritual.
25. (Q) My stepmother, Mrs. [...]? (A) This was an activity in the same period of experience, but as a friend only.
26. (Q) My grandmother, Mrs. [...]? (A) In Egypt.
27. (Q) My father, Mr. [...]? (A) In Egypt, and quite a bit of differences arose through those periods - as indicated in the service of the entity in the Temple of Sacrifice.
28. (Q) How can I best help my stepsister, [...] with her present domestic problems? (A) Give that counsel as to the oneness of purpose, of the meeting of self, and of the lack of condemnation of others.
29. (Q) Please give any other advice that would be helpful at this time. (A) Remember those counsels as given in the first; knowing that all questions, whether pertaining to self in its relationships to others or to the Creative Forces or God, or in others' problems of any nature, must be answered within self. For, the infallible, the unchangeable law is: "My Spirit beareth witness with thy spirit, saith the Lord of hosts."
