1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1972].
3. Now as we find, there is somewhat of a complication of disturbances.
4. As we have indicated, such conditions are the effect of infection, more than a disease in itself - rather dis-ease; owing to the effect upon the nervous system and the crystallizing or hardening of tissue.
5. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [1972]:
6. The blood supply indicates that there is an infection which arises from the manner in which there is the lack of the activities of the liver as related to the action of the gall duct, to produce solvents for forms of food for the body.
7. Thus, these being carried become as carriers for pressures produced in the muscular forces, and especially the locomotory centers of the body; forming - in this particular case - some inflammatory forces especially in the extremities.
8. In meeting such conditions, operative measures would not be effective - but diets, solvents, and stimulations for those areas that have been deficient in nerve energy to supply to the functioning of the organs themselves an activity to bring the normal forces for such relations in the body.
9. These, then, must all be taken into consideration with those things that would be given as administrations for the correcting and the preventing of further disturbances along these directions.
10. First, then, the glandular system should be considered.
1972-1 Page 2
In this body, we find that the glands would respond to the use of Atomidine as a restrainer - to act upon the glandular forces as to produce first a cleansing, and thus allowing nature to assume its more normal reaction.
11. Take, then, one minim (drop) of Atomidine (full-commercial strength) in half a glass of water before the morning meal, for a period of at least ten days.
12. And, during that period, refrain from any great quantities of fats in the diet - throughout the period of taking the Atomidine.
13. After this has been taken for ten days, on the tenth day take at least FIVE minims.
14. Then the next morning take almost a saturated solution Epsom Salts Bath. This would be as hot as the body can well stand same, and put about fifteen pounds of Epsom Salts in forty to fifty gallons of water. Lie in this (with the body covered all except the head) for at least thirty minutes.
15. Then have a thorough rubdown following same, resting - of course - for several hours afterwards.
16. Following this Bath there should be a general massage with particular reference to the areas across the liver, or the abdominal area and the diaphragm.
17. After this, begin with the osteopathic adjustments. These should include those corrections as will be found needed not only in the upper dorsal and cervical area, but also from the 9th dorsal to the end of the spine; with particular reference to those in the lumbar axis AND the coccyx area. Do not attempt to make ALL the corrections, of course, even during the first series of adjustments. These should be given twice a week for a period of two to three weeks for the first series, see? Then have a rest period from same, and then another series of adjustments, see?
18. After there has been taken the first series of adjustments, while the body is resting from these, take again the Atomidine for ten days; THIS time taking TWO minims in half a glass of water before the morning meal.
19. Then follow same with the Epsom Salts Bath and rub; THIS time rubbing the body thoroughly with an equal combination of Olive Oil, Peanut Oil and Pine Oil. This as we find will assist in making for better circulatory forces throughout the superficial circulation.
20. Then begin with the second series of the osteopathic adjustments.
21. Also we would be mindful of the diet - that there is sufficient of a laxative diet; as in plenty of figs, dates and such natures that tend to make nature's reaction.
22. During the first series of the osteopathic adjustments,
1972-1 Page 3
be sure that there are one or two colonic irrigations, that we may cleanse the colon of those conditions which cause reinfection through these areas.
23. These we would keep up, in the manner indicated.
24. As to the rest of the diet - no red meats at any time; that is, no ham, beef, raw beef or rare beef. Fish, fowl or lamb may be taken - these the only characters of meats, IF taken at all.
25. But be sure that one meal each day consists principally of raw, fresh vegetables.
26. These as we find will bring better conditions for this body, [1972].
27. Ready for questions.
28. (Q) What was the nature of the infection that produced this condition? (A) As indicated, a disturbance in the gall duct and liver area; combined with those periods of suppression - or changes with the glandular forces in the system. Do as has been outlined, and we will bring better conditions for this body.
29. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for Osteopath, when you are ready for these treatments.
