Time of Reading 10:35 to 10:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.
1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the this time; go over the body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, the conditions with this body, [1975] are rather of a subtle nature - when considered as to the sources or causes of the disturbance.
4. The beginnings of this, as we find, arise from the preventatives as were in the form of injections, to cause the conditions as preventatives.
5. This, working upon the unbalanced condition in the blood supply in its coagulative form, caused a form of catarrhal condition, that has affected and does affect the mucous membranes of the body; as the sensory system to some extent and, with a subluxation, affects the same character of tissue as involved in the organs of the pelvis during the periods of activity.
6. Thus we have a complication of disturbances that at times become very painful, owing to the conditions as produced in the organs of the pelvis; producing an elimination there, or an exudation that causes more or less of an acidity, great irritation as well as a great deal of pain; headaches at times, disturbance with the eyes, pains across the small of the back and hips, through the shoulders and on top of the head; eyes giving disturbance at times, and a digestive upset most of the time.
7. These arise, then, from conditions as we have indicated that became a part of the whole condition.
8. In making applications for these, all of these portions of the system should be considered.
9. First, we would prepare a compound to be taken as a tonic - an internal tonic to aid in correcting those conditions as related to the activity of the assimilations.

10. To 2 ounces of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin, add - in the order named: Tincture of Stillingia........1/4 ounce, Essence of Peppermint..........10 drops, Elixir of Elder Flower........1/4 ounce, Essence of Wild Ginseng.......1/2 ounce. Shake the solution well before taking. The dose would be half a teaspoonful in a little water just before retiring each evening.
11. Have osteopathic adjustments with special reference to the coccyx, the lumbar center, and from the 9th dorsal to the 1st and 2nd cervical. Work UPWARD here, RATHER than downward - preferably the Dobbins' manner.
12. At least sixteen osteopathic adjustments should be made, but give them in two series; that is, eight the first time, rest from them a week and then give eight in the second series. These would be given about twice each week when being given.
13. We would prepare an inhalant for the dryness and disturbance in the throat and nasal passages.
14. To 4 ounces of 95% pure Grain Alcohol in an 8 ounce container, add - in the order named: Oil of Eucalyptus .............20 minims, Rectified Creosote..............3 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin...15 minims, Oil of Turp.....................5 minims, Tolu in Solution...............20 minims. This should be put in a large mouthed bottle with two vents through the cork, but with neither of these entering the solution, and these so arranged that they may be kept tightly corked. Shake the solution well and inhale ONLY the fumes. Do not take internally! Inhale the fumes into the nostrils as well as into the throat, twice a day - just before retiring and upon arising.
15. For those disturbances in the pelvic organs, use - ONLY in a Fountain Syringe - a douche of Atomidine solution; the proportions being a teaspoonful of Atomidine in a quart of water body-temperature. Use this, of course, about once each week. Do not use during the Periods or close to same, but keep the body purified through such an activity.
16. In the matter of the diet - keep to the better body-building foods, but lacking in too great an amount of starches or the combinations that produce the disturbance in

the lacteal ducts in their assimilation.
17. Fish, fowl and lamb would be the meats.
18. Only brown or whole wheat bread - preferably this toasted.
19. The yolk of eggs, NOT too much of the white; and preferably ONLY boiled.
20. The artichoke should be a part of the diet at least once a week - preferably the Jerusalem variety.
21. Not too much of cheese of any character, but it may be taken WITH macaroni if used ONLY at that meal.
22. Plenty of vegetable juices.
23. One meal each day should consist principally of raw, fresh vegetables.
24. Plenty of fruits, but not too much of melons of any nature. Pears, plums, grapes - plenty of grapes; and if there is exceeding pain, use a grape poultice over the abdomen at such times - crushing the raw grapes and applying direct to the skin between gauze, about an inch thick - preferably Concord grapes.
25. Do these, and we will bring better conditions for this body.
26. Ready for questions.
27. We are through for the present. Copy to Father " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Druggist, also Osteopath - Dr. Frank Dobbins, 551 Fifth Ave., New York City. At your convenience we would appreciate a history of your case to the time of obtaining the Reading, so we may have something with which to compare our information. This is very valuable for our files.) files.)
