Time of Reading Unknown.
1. GKN: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep - a quiet, peaceful and restful sleep. All the organs of your body will function perfectly. You will be normal in every way and you will hear what I say and answer the questions I shall ask you slowly and distinctly so that we may get every word. Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep and you have before you the body of Mrs. [1982], who is in room 2154, McAlpin Hotel, New York City, N.Y. You will see this body and go over it carefully and tell us what the trouble is, if anything, and what to do for it to make it normal again. You will answer any questions about this body, Mr. Cayce.
2. EC: We have had this body before [No copy of earlier readings]. Now, there is considerable difference in the conditions that we find in the body here just now than when we had this body before. There are many things that there is much change in, especially in the physical body itself. There are many things in the mental and spiritual body that have changed in their attitude towards things physical or material that have been of assistance both to the spiritual side of the body and to the physical attributes and conditions that have existed and do exist in this body, see. These are conditions that are abnormal that we find at present.
3. First, we take the circulation of the blood, which is the life of the physical body. The pressure is normal, the heart action in its functioning is alright. Good! There is some bacilla [bacilli?] carried in the blood that acting with the functioning of certain organs produces in itself some trouble when the reflex or reaction comes through the blood supply in the capillaries and some of the extreme functioning ends of the lymphatic and blood circulation. In this form the sedular forces of some of the corpuscles become so heavy, preventing the action of the lucresites [leucocytes?] blood in action in its function toward certain organs or extremities in the body, you see, which this bacilla then expresses itself in the cuticle causing irritation to some portion of the body, in the feet - which has been given before. At times this shows on certain portions of the body by small pimples which appear, in
1982-1 Page 2
breaking cuticle, small abrasions that appear, itching sensations on parts of the body, in poor circulation, improper distribution of the circulation. That is in the physical, we are speaking of the body the same being produced in this - that is, [1982] we speak of.
4. By the action of the spiritual and mental with the action of physical matter or in claiming perfect function over the action of the physical matter in the spiritual and mental parts of the body, see, this also reflex condition affecting that part of the body becoming to the highest cycles of formation in the functioning of physical organs, that is, through speech or through the larynx or vocal chord and box itself, you see. So that the roughness, the unpleasantness holds to these organs for a reflex, reactive condition of this abnormal condition existing in the life supply of blood, for success, all of these being functioned by the electrical or nerve energy being carried in the system, see.
5. If we subject through itself, through the mental faculties to the spiritual faculties in itself action over the physical force in the matter, we will relieve and constrain the condition from the body, yet the body will act itself within accord to that condition giving then some manipulation, I mean within itself, to those portions that are affected. It will remove from the condition those which become abnormal in the physical body of [1982]. This manipulation or exercise or suggestions to the physical body should be to the upper lumbar at the second lumbar gangular [ganglia?] so the effect to the physical is given through the hypatics and its central forces from these in its action on the natural blood supply of this body. By this suggestion through mental, through physical with the action of the physical that is given by the body itself in regular exercise of this portion of the body or manipulation by the body itself, we will remove this condition both from the fact these conditions become effective through sympathetic systems to the nerve energy and force as applied to the extremities in one condition of blood as applied to that through the central organ from the functioning of the organs of the highest cycles.
6. As to the physical development within the body the suppression of organs as we had given before have allowed to run to the extent of the physical producing destructive forces in the body which has been relieved by the intaking of within mind, that is, through the mental faculties of this body, that which has kept within the body the youthfulness of both the mental and of the physical to a development of the mental faculties of the body. Get the

direction between the two. The spiritual development of this body is above the normal. The spiritual development should go forward through that of the mental force and faculty of the body, of the study by the concentration of body on self to ride above that of others, you see, and those whom it comes in contact with. Should be developed along the concentration and consecration of both the physical and mental in its application to a spiritual.
7. (Q) For what is this body best suited in life? (A) Along the development of others towards the higher development of spiritual life as expressed especially through that of harmony in the soul of the person or persons to whom this body comes in contact with. Against harmony the body cannot work.
8. (Q) Will this body be successful as a singer and what is the best plan for her to follow, Mr. Cayce? (A) This body can be developed and can be successful and can develop itself as a singer and be able to give out to others as a singer just as we have outlined here. If it will renew anew the physical so that the mental and spiritual body can express itself to the material world it becomes successful. The body can develop within itself too but it has already obtained truth within itself. It must develop within itself before it can give out to others.
9. (Q) Will this body be successful in perfecting her plan for a conservatory of music, Mr. Cayce. (A) There will be developments due to the material and financial world. If the body would use those means presented to the physical to further or right that obtained in its mental and spiritual state to give to others it would be well.
10. (Q) Could this body develop any unusual power, Mr. Cayce. (A) The development of unusual power is within yourself. It must have the basis of unusual power before we begin the development just as the development of the vocal in this body here is unusual, you see. This shall be developed through the mental or spiritual in this body. These can attain, these will attain if followed out as we have here outlined.
11. (Q) Is there any special trouble with the left foot of this body, Mr. Cayce, or is it just the same trouble as heretofore diagnosed? (A) The condition as we have here in the left foot is a condition of the circulation of the same affect, that is, all, in the lymphatic circulation in this extremity of the
1982-1 Page 4
body producing a local condition the affect is over the whole system. By treating the central as we have outlined, the local condition will be removed.
12. (Q) Would any local treatment assist in removing this condition to the left foot, Mr. Cayce. (A) If, as we have given, they were to remove the condition, treat what is the seat of the trouble and remove the condition. Do as we have outlined.
13. (Q) Is there any particular person or persons that this body should see for the further development of her voice, Mr. Cayce, in public work? (A) This body must first study within itself and understand the power of resistance in others with whom it comes in contact with in the development of the mental and physical attributes of this body, knowing that through the physical, that is, the physical sensory system, we reach to the mental and spiritual force governing within the body that is to develop this body in itself there must be at times resistance encountered to develop or know whereof it speaks, or feels, or sees, or knows, or understands, see? In its resistive force against... As to special individuals we would say they were well within this life at present. As to special places, it is well that the body is at present meeting resistance to overcome later. Success will not be reached here, New York we are speaking of, but the resistive force to the encountered is here. Through some of the channels in which it has been brought to meet they will meet and have that of the material to assist the physical, mental and spiritual forces of [1982]. We see for this body other lands than these in where the completion of the work will be. These are sunny climes. We are through.
14. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will dismiss this body. Will not see it any more. For the present you are resting quietly and peacefully, all the organs of the body are going to function normally and perfectly. You will awaken in one minute feeling good and alright. You will forget what you have said but will be feeling good and alright, and now awaken as we have said, in one minute, Mr. Cayce.
