1. HLC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1985].

3. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better normal activities through the system. These as we find have to do with the eliminating systems of the body, especially as related to the activity of the upper hepatic circulation - more specific, the liver and the gall duct area.

4. These as we find cause disturbances of a nature such that through portions of the body at times there are reactions coming that hinder in the better activity of the locomotory forces of the body also.

5. Then, these are as we find indicated in the body.

6. In the blood supply we find those activities which indicate disturbances, owing to the manner in which the circulatory forces are activative through the pressures, as well as the metabolism of the system, and the gall duct as combined with that activity in the lower portion of the stomach itself - or in the area just before the entrance into the jejunum.

7. This causes a disturbance through the area, and through the nerve forces of the body, giving disturbance in the circulatory forces, and the active forces with the lower hepatic circulation bring toxic forces again into the system.

8. Thus we have the disturbance through the blood supply bringing disorder to the superficial circulation in this way and manner, as well as that activity upon the locomotories of the deeper circulation.

9. The sources or causes of these, as combined with the

acidity that is naturally produced by same, are through the slowed impulses in the upper dorsal and through the lumbar and sacral area.

10. As we find, we may eliminate these disturbances from the system if there will be the applications through the manipulative measures of the osteopathic nature, as combined with the solvents for the tendency towards the acidity, and the diet to keep the body in the better accord.

11. In making the osteopathic adjustments then, make those in the upper dorsal area first; those from the 1st and 2nd dorsal to the 5th and 6th, THEN those in the lumbar and sacral, as well as the coccyx end of the spine. Then coordinate both of these areas with those through the cervicals to the head and neck, so that those tendencies for the inflammatory forces to the sympathetics may be overcome, in those relations to the coordinating of the activities of the sensory system with the body. Thus we will remove much of the disturbance in the throat, as well as to the eyes and ears.

12. As to those properties to be taken internally - we would use the combinations as found in Alcaroid as a digestant. Dissolve a quarter teaspoonful in a small quantity of water, then stir in a full glass of water and drink - then drink another half glass of water afterwards. This taken after the meals will make for better assimilation. The combinations here, including the pepsin as combined with same, will bring to the body better conditions. Should the pepsin in this not be sufficient, take a few drops of Elixir of Lactated pepsin - two to three drops - after the heavier meal of the day - in addition to the Alcaroid.

13. Refrain from those foods that produce alcohol. We do not mean so much the combinations of the alcohol, but those things that produce an alcohol reaction in the system; such as nuts, candies, or those combinations of white bread with spaghetti or potatoes or macaroni or cheeses - no two of these at the same meal.

14. Fish, fowl or lamb should be a portion of the diet as the meats, if there is any of these taken.

15. At least one meal each day should consist principally of raw, fresh vegetables. In a salad may be combined most all of them. They may be taken with an oil or a salad dressing.

16. Plenty of milk should be taken, but most certainly this should always be pasteurized and not the raw milk.

17. Little of tea or coffee.

18. The activities of red meats would become more disturbing to the body.

19. Do these, and we will find we will bring better conditions.

20. Ready for questions.

21. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for Osteopath.
