1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane; giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how: answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from present - " - '34 - yes, changes in environs as well as activities - '33 - etc., - '26 - expectancy and anxiety - '24 - '23 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1986].
4. Many of the records as we find are beautiful - many are unusual.
5. In giving the interpretations of these, many phases of the experiences are to be considered. These are chosen from same with the intent and purpose that this experience should be a helpful one for the entity in understanding and in filling that place for which it came into this experience.
6. Then, in giving those things that are as an influence, here we find not only the astrological aspects, or sojourns in the environs between the periods of activity in the material earth, but omens as to the activities that are indicated in the circle of the entity's life.
7. The entity brings both harmony and crosses in the experience of self as well as others.
8. Hence we would find, in giving the circle of the life, many varied phases would appear.
9. Stones - the entity should have the amethyst (the white) about self often. These vibrations will bring greater
1986-1 Page 2
harmony, in not only body but in the mental attributes.
10. Warnings as to the physical self - keep in the open often, and let much of the activity be there. For the inclinations for weakness through the pulmonary areas may grow upon the entity, unless these are adhered to.
11. In choosing those influences from the astrological sojourns, we find Venus, Neptune, Uranus and Jupiter are the greater influences.
12. As Jupiter and Uranus, with Venus in the far, are in the experiences of the entity in the present, these will bring some of the interesting urges that have arisen and do arise in the experience of the entity.
13. In Venus we find one loving the emotions and yet keeping self far from same, owing to those activities and influences which have made differences in the experience of the entity.
14. Yet music and beauty of all influences, as come through that called art, are a part of the entity's experience.
15. Neptune brings the greater spiritual life, greater desire for the spiritual emotions than the purely material.
16. Hence those influences in which the entity may bring much good, not so much of a denominational nature but rather of a spiritual activity - these may bring those channels of influence and forces in which greater harmony, greater joy, greater outlet may be found for the abilities of self.
17. These as we find, combined with the influences in Jupiter, make for more of a universal influence - as in affiliation or association with the distribution of that which is as a teaching influence in the lives of young and old alike. These would be the channels or natures, or in the distribution of such. Whether they be tracts or books or such, these should be a portion of the entity's experience, if there would be the greater abilities for influence in this experience.
18. Uranus within the next few months will bring those influences as to the extremes - both as to relationships as might be of the marital nature or the relationships for home or the like, and as to influences in the character of associations as we have indicated that will be accentuated within the next few months, and the next year especially.
19. In these aspects we find in the Uranian the extreme. Hence we find periods when the entity, while attempting to be or to show the lack of hurt, innately deep within self is hurt by those disappointments in others - whether in their character of life, character of activities, or even by words - not indicated even to others that had caused a hurt within the experience of the entity.
20. This only shows, to a great extent, the
1986-1 Page 3
supersensitiveness of the entity - the beauty of appreciation of the feelings of others. The beauty and the appreciations of precept as well as example are an influence that becomes a part of the experiences of the entity.
21. And, duty rather than the emotions of the body alone, becomes the influence that brings the greater bearing upon the activities of the entity.
22. Not that there is not the desire for security, materially, mentally, spiritually, but often the entity allows self to be pursuaded that it is the security in physical or material things that is being sought. Yet it is the deeper influence and force that must be satisfied within the experience of this entity.
23. In such influences, then - too great an undertaking may not be said of the entity, but in those fields of activity in which the spiritual and mental lives of individuals, of young and old, of groups or individuals, are touched or influenced, are to be the channels and the fields of service in which the entity may excel, the entity may find the greater hope, the greater outlet for self.
24. Then - whether as the companion of a minister or a missionary, or whether as in the field of service in which there is the distribution or the study of the needs of the various groups under different environs and various natures, or whether not only including the local but the foreign, - all of such should be the channels in which the entity will find the greater happiness, the greater joy.
25. For while not always agreeing with the tenets or the manner of application of tenets of various groups of individuals, these will give that to the entity of the influences in which the self may experience, within the material as well as the mental and spiritual, the joys of a life spent in the service of the Creative Forces, for which each soul enters the earth plane.
26. As to the appearances in the earth - these we find far, far apart. Hence the lack of the physical emotions that so many might expect as a means or a channel of outlet. For the entity's entrance into material planes has been, and must be ever, a purposeful thing - for the meeting, for the undertaking of that which IS the growing of the soul to a greater comprehension of the relationships of the entity or soul to the all-creative influences or forces.
27. Hence as we find:
28. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods when there were the settlings in the land - not as a new land altogether, but when there were the activities as determining factors upon which would
1986-1 Page 4
be builded the principles of the activities in the new land, or the manners of approach to the various forms or modes of life.
29. Yet we find the entity was very zealous as to the spiritual experiences of those in that new land.
30. Hence we find the entity was among those who came into the land for a definite influence, definite purpose - not merely as many of those during the period who came to be as companions for those who had journeyed to this strange new land, but there we find the entity - as Ima Darlington - came as one to instruct those of the households, the young and the natives, as well as to manners and means in which there might be the greater application of the tenets of the Master in the homes and the home life of the peoples.
31. Hence we find a great attraction to the entity for those places and peoples in this special portion of this land, - as all of those about the old settlings that are so much a part of the entity that it would be well for the entity to be as one that would seek the records for placards or signs as to the happenings in the various portions of this particular part of the land - especially the early settlings in the land.
32. The entity gained, though the entity saw material hardships, though the entity saw the influences of the appetites of men bring destructive influences in the experience.
33. Hence those feelings of the entity in the present towards those things that make men beasts when indulged in same, that have brought distorted and distended activities in their material experiences - thus allowing the carnal influences to arise in their experience rather than the spiritual influences in the life.
34. Hence again the reasons why, as it might be applied from the very emotions of the body, the associations with those who would distribute any nature or character for the spiritual uplift for the masses and for individuals and groups, would become an outlet for the entity for the greater good in this material experience.
35. Before that we find the entity was in the Palestine land, when the Master walked in the earth.
36. There we find the entity was among those who were the acquaintances of Martha and Mary, to whom the Master came oft. The entity was among those who were the hired ones as a mourner at the time of Lazarus' death; and became a believer - seeing the activities, experiencing the influence of the Master's life on the friends, associates and acquaintances of that group there.
1986-1 Page 5
37. And from henceforth the entity was known as one among those of the holy women.
38. Then the name was Thelda, and in the experience the entity gained. While it was late in years (according to the years of many of those women of that experience) when the entity became acquainted with all of the activities of the disciples, all of the apostles, all of the influences brought about during those periods just before and after the Crucifixion were experienced by the entity.
39. The entity also saw that experience of the Crucifixion, - the darkening of the day, the rending of the veil of the temple, the noises that were experienced - as well as those periods that followed same, in the upper room, when the entity with the followers of the Master was made aware of His resurrection. For those things that happened to the peoples and children of the entity's acquaintances were witnessed, as well as to the heathen - or especially the Romans.
40. There we find the entity was closely associated with Mariaerh, [1468] who was the companion of Lucius in the activities in Laodicea.
41. For the entity then was the aunt of that entity, bringing her into close associations with the activities of the people in that experience.
42. Throughout the entity gained, for those tenets - as well as desires and purposes and intents - became deep-seated within the soul of the entity; and these oft rise within the experience.
43. Thus, as the entity finds in its associations and activities, those things that bespeak of those influences that bore upon the lives of individuals during that period become more and more as the more important; for the entity learned well that lesson, as she heard given to Martha and Mary by the Master - "These things are not to be left undone, but she, my daughter, hath chosen the greater part" - listening to the voice as may come within, as directs the activities of the individual in not only its associations with individuals here and now, but that as PROMPTS the heart as TO those relationships with others.
44. There may yet be much of that finished as was undertaken then, in bringing to the minds and hearts of those who seek to know His way the greater understanding.
45. And the entity might indeed write that story of His dwelling, His visit to Bethany. For as there comes into the experience the knowledge of the various influences and forces, an individual life history of the entity during that sojourn might bring the interpretations of such in such a
1986-1 Page 6
way and manner that the entity - NOW - might make that as a book, as a leaflet, as a tract, something to be treasured by many.
46. While much has been said as to His visits, His friendship with Mary, Martha and Lazarus, we find that much more remains to be said as to how indeed that friendship with those brought so much into the hearts of men at that experience, many who never followed save as afar; and as to how closely this may illustrate how His being may be to the children of men even in this experience.
47. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those experiences when there were those who journeyed there from the Atlantean land.
48. The entity was then among those of the younger ones (of its same sex as at present) who came into the Egyptian land; and hence while craving much of the experiences as a child in the Atlantean land, it knew little but turmoils and strifes during the Egyptian experience; yet growing into a power through the applications of self to the tenets indeed of the Law of One - the children who understood that principle from the beginning, "With what measure ye mete, it is measured to thee again," or with what purpose ye seek do ye find the law of the Lord.
49. Is it in perfection for Him? Is it that self may be exalted? Is it that the desire of the heart may be manifested materially? or is it that there is to be, in the dealings of self with thy fellow man, the illustration, the picture of the dealings of the law of the Lord in mercy, in justice, in love to others?
50. These as the tenets of the entity through that experience saved many a heartache - yea, preserved for those peoples that extenuating of the activities of the peoples from Atlantis to the activities in the Egyptian land that brought the greater blessings through that experience.
51. For they became the tenets of the teacher as he returned to the land, and these brought closer associations with the entity's activities, as the daughter then of Ax-Tell brought into the activity of the individuals in the service with Ra Ta, created a union of the God-forces for activity in the material plane.
52. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:
53. First, study to show thyself approved unto thy ideal, in Him. Let thy watchword be: "Others, Lord, others."
54. Let those activities of self be such that they never bring a reproach to thine own conscience; keeping self unspotted from those things that make the heart of man
1986-1 Page 7
afraid.
55. And in those channels as indicated may come the greater awakening to the fulfilling of that purpose. For as indicated, ye held to thy purpose under stress and strain in the Egyptian land, as As-Ma; and in the land where the Lord made Himself known to the children of men ye BLESSED many; and ye sought there to fulfillthat to which ye were aroused by His coming. Then in the land of thy present nativity ye brought ways, means and manners for the application of these same tenets.
56. Then finish same in the present; giving to those who are undertaking to shape their lives, to build homes for the young, that motivative force that may be found only in the knowledge of Him in their lives.
57. Ready for questions.
58. (Q) Should I follow a vocation or marry? (A) Marry, if it is in that field of service where the one married is a minister or having an activity in the field of such natures; not in other fields of service. For, as indicated, thy life's service must be in ministry to others.
59. (Q) Is the young man friend of mine in love with me? (A) In a manner, yes.
60. (Q) Whom should I marry? (A) As indicated, only one of those in the Christian service.
61. (Q) Why is it that this young man friend of mine and I can't get along? (A) Not so well balanced as to purposes.
62. (Q) How can I deal with him? (A) Let thy purposes and his be one; else separate. Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers.
63. (Q) Should I explain to him why I have acted as I have? (A) Very well.
64. (Q) Why do I have such a fear of men? (A) Study that which has been indicated, as to what has been the experience, and is it any wonder? Know that He, thy Lord, leads the way if ye choose in those directions indicated.
65. (Q) Why do men feel so uncomfortable in my presence? (A) Ye read them too easily!
66. (Q) When will I marry? (A) It should be within the next year.
