Time of Reading ... Road, 11:00 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.C.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1992].

3. Now as we find, there are some disturbing conditions which have prevented the better normal physical functioning.

4. The effects that are indicated at times, through various portions of the system, arise primarily from hindrances as may be removed.

5. Then, there are two characters of disturbance with this body; one the primary cause, the other the effect that has been brought about - through this slowing of circulation.

6. And these have created weaknesses and tendencies through portions of the system.

7. Then, these are conditions as we find them with this body, [1992] we are speaking of:

8. In the blood supply we find disturbances that indicate there are tendencies for poor circulation through portions of the head, face, throat; arising from conditions as will be indicated.

9. This has produced a weakness, then, in portions of the outer or upper and lower antrum, that will need specific applications, as well as the general conditions that make for corrections - and aid this in being eliminated.

10. These will then tend to eliminate that inclination for disturbances in the throat at times when cold, or the excess of activities, brings the inclinations and activities of drippings, or secretions, that contribute to the disturbances towards the lack of proper peristaltic movements through alimentary canal; causing superacidity at times through portions of the system, causing an irritation to the lower hepatic circulation, and some disturbance to the kidney actions themselves.

11. Also in this same connection we find through the nervous

1992-2 Page 2

system, in the cerebrospinal system, a condition existent which prevents the coordination between the superficial or the sympathetic nervous system AND the deeper system, or the cerebrospinal proper.

12. Thus, from the very nature of the condition, or hindrance being in the area between the 9th dorsal and the 4th to the 5th dorsal, the circulation is slowed to the area in the caecum and the right portion of the alimentary canal. This combined with the inclinations as indicated, that arise from also a sympathetic subluxation in the upper cervical area, has caused this slowed circulation through the soft tissue of the face; causing the tendencies towards inflammatory forces through the caecum AND the colon area.

13. When there is not the full elimination or evacuation, then, there tends to be a sympathetic condition produced in the areas of the caecum and the appendix - as a tenderness or soreness.

14. These, combined with the general conditions, have at times brought severe disturbances.

15. As we find, if the corrections are made osteopathically in the specific areas as indicated, and coordinating the lumbar, 9th dorsal and the brachial or vegetative system WITH those corrections, we will remove the CAUSES of these.

16. Have at least sixteen adjustments osteopathically, - these to be divided in two series; eight in the first series, and resting then a week; then eight in the next should make for such corrections as to bring the much nearer normal conditions for this body.

17. Also, as there is already the tendency for weaknesses, and for the tissue to become involved with the least excess acidity in the system, we find that precautions and measures need to be taken to remove those inclinations for reinfection at times through these areas. Hence we would use an inhalant - not the properties themselves taken, but the fumes from same inhaled through the nostril AND in the throat, once a day or whenever there is the least stuffiness or fullness in throat or nasal passages. Prepare in this way and manner. Keep in a place where there is not too much light, nor the inclination for it to be shaken up often except in use. Put in an eight ounce container (bottle, preferably dark glass), sufficiently large-mouthed that a cork may be prepared with two small glass tubes or vents in same - these to be kept closed when not used. These small tubes are NOT to extend into the solution, but in to the space ABOVE the solution.

18. To 2 ounces of Pure Grain Alcohol, add - IN THE ORDER NAMED:

1992-2 Page 3

Oil of Eucalyptus................20 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin.....15 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp.............5 minims, Tolu in Solution.................20 minims, Rectified Creosote................3 minims. Shake the solution well before inhaling, remove the corks from the two small vents, and inhale in the nostril and in the mouth - to produce an antiseptic condition for the mucous membranes, and as a healing in the areas where there are such tendencies and inclinations.

19. Use SERUTAN as an aid in producing REGULAR and better eliminations.

20. Do these, and we may bring the much more normal conditions for this body.

21. Ready for questions.

22. (Q) What has caused the stopping of menstruation? Can this function be restored normally? Explain fully what procedures are to be followed? (A) Those as we have just indicated will aid in making the corrections, by the better stimulation to those areas in the lumbar, 9th dorsal, and setting up better drainages through the system. This should gradually restore the normal activity and eliminations through these portions of the system.

23. (Q) What are the possibilities in regard to having children? If this could be accomplished advisedly, suggest the medical steps necessary and the name of a doctor who could handle the case. (A) As we find, this would NOT be advised owing to those disturbances and conditions which have existed and do exist in relationships to the activities through the creative or procreative organs of the system, and their relationships to the rest of the body. Rather apply self in the way of ministering to the needs of others, in such a way and manner as to fill those conditions in the system. If this is to be accomplished, it may be better determined when the full corrections and the restorations of the activities of the glandular system as related to same have been accomplished. Much of this, of course, will depend upon the very nature and manner in which such osteopathic corrections are made.

24. (Q) What causes the pain in my left arm, just below the shoulder?

1992-2 Page 4

(A) This as we find arises from some toxic forces, as we have indicated, that arise from the poor coordination between the cerebrospinal AND the superficial or the sympathetic circulation.

25. (Q) What causes my insomnia and how can it be cured? (A) Through those manners that have been indicated. Insomnia arises from the lack of coordination of the nerve forces of the body, see? With the osteopathic corrections, and this creating of the coordination between the vegetative or sympathetic or imaginative activity of the nerve forces AND the cerebrospinal, we will find MUCH better rest.

26. (Q) Is it possible to suggest a good skin lotion to keep down a tendency to acne? Please advise what to use, and where to obtain it. (A) When general eliminations are better established, we will find less tendency in this direction. As to the better lotions - we would suggest the Black and White; but the Genuine Black and White (made in Chicago, NOT Plough's Black and White).

27. (Q) What should I do to guard against fatigue and nervous tension? (A) As has been indicated. Do these things; being consistent in the ways and manners that have been indicated; and we will remove not only the causes but also the effects that have been created in the system - in those inclinations or tendencies which have been experienced in the appendicial area, the insomnia, the nervous indigestion; causing a better restoration to the activities of the whole glandular system; removing the tendency to so easily take cold; and creating a better general condition.

28. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file [Question submitted which did not get asked: Q. Was there any difficulty with the appendix last spring or is there any indication that appendicitis will develop in the future? What did cause the illness, if it was not the appendix?] (9/30/39 GD's note: See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Osteopath, also directions for Druggist in preparing the inhalant.
