Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. Now as we find, there are abnormal conditions which prevent the better normal physical functioning. These have to do with the functioning of organs, rather than there being an organic derangement.

4. Yet with the tendencies existent, these may be easily taken for organic reactions - as indicated in the metabolism of the body.

5. These are the disturbances as we find:

6. For some periods there have been the inclinations for toxic reactions, by the poor eliminations. These have caused in the ascending colon a plethora condition; this with its reaction upon that disturbance in a portion of the transverse colon, with a prolapsus in the lower or the descending colon.

7. These have produced and do produce the greater disturbance to the nerve forces between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system.

8. After long periods there has been caused the dilating of the heart's activity at periods, and an increase and a variation; for the pressure has been both below and above normal - created by this variation from the position of the condition there.

9. The toxic forces in the system have caused greater expanding to or in same.

10. These then, with the inclinations and the mental attitudes, have produced a disturbance that tends to make for stiffness in the knees, in some of the joints of the body. At other times when there are good eliminations these will relax a great deal.

11. As we find, then, these may be materially aided.

12. We would keep away from the necessity of heart stimulants as much as possible. But when there are the disturbing forces do not hesitate to take that which will tend to EMPTY rather than STIMULATE its circulation - as in the digitallis rather than the strychnine base; though the combinations may at times aid.

13. But to relieve the causes:

14. First we would begin, gently, with the hydrotherapy treatments; using very little at the time, but the colonic irrigations. These should be taken at least every two weeks until there is no more showing of mucous from such colonic irrigations.

15. DO NOT give stimulations of a high or of ANY electrical vibratory forces, other than that as we may indicate here - as aroused within the body itself.

16. But have a gentle massage, especially over the lumbar and sacral areas, and throughout the sciatic nerves, and a gentle KNEADING - not so much massage but a gentle kneading - each time during the period of the colonic irrigations.

17. As indicated, these would be given at least every two weeks - that is, every other week - until no mucous shows from the colonic irrigations, see?

18. And then we would have some gentle adjustments, osteopathically, in the upper dorsal and cervical area.

19. Six to eight or ten would be very well to be taken, over a period of two to three weeks.

20. These would be begun after there had been given about two or three of the colonic irrigations, see?

21. USE the Radio-Active Appliance for the body electrical vibrations to equalize the circulation through the extremities. Hence in the application for this body, use it for thirty minutes twice each day; circulating the attachments around the body in the ordinary manner - that is, the applicator marked to always be attached first, would be attached first to the right wrist, and the next half hour (at another period of the day, you see) attached first to the left wrist, the next day to the left ankle, the next time to the right ankle, and so on about the body; while the last attachment would always be to the opposite extremity, see? Keep the plates very clean and polished, before each attachment. There will NOT be felt any vibration from the Appliance, you see; but it builds and discharges as would an electronic energy builder for the system to equalize it through the extremities of the body.

22. Then as to the diet:

23. Keep away from meats. Of course, a little fish, fowl or

lamb may be taken if desired, but none of mixed meats or red meats, or of that nature.

24. At least one meal each day should consist principally of raw vegetables.

25. Do these, and we will bring better forces for this body, [1997].

26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) What will help her with the hay fever when it comes on? (A) If all of these things are adhered to as indicated, we will find this condition will be materially aided. But a specific would be the use of the inhalant such as we have indicated for such conditions. For this body, and in this location, it would be prepared in this manner: To 4 ounces of Pure Grain Alcohol, add - in the order named: Oil of Eucalyptus......................20 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin...........15 minims, Rectified Creosote......................3 minims, Oil of Turp.............................5 minims, Tolu in Solution.......................20 minims. Put this solution in an 8 ounce container (dark glass bottle) with two vents in the cork of same, through glass, that are to be kept tightly corked when not in use. Shake solution only before inhaling, remove both of the smaller corks and inhale from one of the vents. Of course, neither of the vents should enter the solution, but the space above same - so that the fumes may be inhaled that are given off from the solution. Inhale in the nostril as well as in the throat, two to three times a day; only, though, when irritation is indicated.

28. (Q) Will this prevent a serious attack? (A) This is an aid to any attacking condition - not a preventative. Those other things as we have indicated are as the preventative.

29. (Q) Can she remain in New York this winter for her best health? (A) If she so desires.

30. (Q) What exercise best for her? (A) That of walking or riding.

31. (Q) How much rest should she take every day? (A) Besides the regular evening or nightly rest, there should be at least the resting two hours during the day.

32. We are through for the present. Copy to Self
