1. HLC: You will answer the physical and mental questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1997] this we have had before.
3. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) What are the effects from the injections taken in Houston, Tex., and given by Dr. Greenbaum? (A) We find that in the main these have been beneficial. If advantage is taken of the tensions being released, and the sources of the disturbances aided, there should continue to be beneficial effects to the body. There being the disturbances in the metabolism, and the stimuli from the injections being the source of that which has relaxed and brought about a better condition in this circulation - we find that now the osteopathic adjustments and stimulations from the sources - in the glands, and in the centers from which impulses and activities are received - should be still more effective toward creating better equilibrium.
5. (Q) What is the heart condition now? (A) As indicated, this generally is much improved.
6. (Q) What is the blood pressure? (A) This is not normal, but is nearer normal - or nearer to reaching a normalcy at periods.
7. (Q) How can the pulse be kept nearer normal? (A) As we have indicated, there are centers in the cerebrospinal system from which the general nervous system received impulse, by the reflex activity from brain centers and from the sympathetics, through their coordination with the activity of the organs themselves. Hence this may best be kept nearer normal through the osteopathic adjustments and stimulation; and these are to be

STIMULATING treatments, not merely relaxing treatments, to the secondary cardiac plexus, the vagus center - that stimulates the circulation to heart, head AND the areas from which much of the pressure has arisen (the abdominal area). Thus we should aid in keeping a better pulse.
8. (Q) What should be the normal pulse for this body? (A) About eighty-two to eighty-four (82 to 84).
9. (Q) Why the coughing? (A) From the brachial center, as just indicated, there is the lack of that circulation to the trachea and bronchi, from the secondary cardiac plexus. This gives rather the inclination, then, for a tickling sensation from the LACK of the flow. Thus the character of treatments suggested, or stimulating treatments, to cause a better flow there, should reduce those tendencies - in better drainages, and in lessening the pressure on the thombosed area - or the circulation between heart and liver.
10. (Q) Why the restlessness at night? (A) The lack of that coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal circulation. And this would be materially aided by the use of the very LOWEST form of electrical vibration, or that which would stimulate the vibrations in the body-forces themselves - as the Radio-Active Appliance, OR the radionics, from the white light, that is usually administered through the naturopath treatments. Such an one could also give the adjustments needed in the cerebrospinal area.
11. (Q) What causes the chest pain? (A) Reflex from the same condition as indicated in the trachea and bronchi, from lack of impulse or coordination between sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems; and will be materially aided by the stimulating treatments as suggested.
12. (Q) Should the body have a change of climate? If so, when and where? (A) This we do not find as necessary, though much of this depends upon a mental attitude of the body itself. For, remember, as we have given, a portion of that causing the restlessness, uneasiness or anxiety, comes from the incoordination between superficial or the sensory circulation and the cerebrospinal. Much of this is a mental reaction. Thus the decisions are to be reached by self, as to where and how it had best apply or use itself. Then if the body in itself prefers to remain in its home environment, by all means do so.
13. (Q) If a change of climate is desired, what place would be suggested?
1997-3 Page 3
(A) This is counteracting what we have just given! If it is desired by the body to go somewhere else, go somewhere else!
14. (Q) What diet? (A) A very normal easily assimilated diet; not too much sweets, not too much starches, but a well-balanced diet tending toward the keeping of better eliminations.
15. (Q) Should there be any caution in the use of staircase? (A) This depends upon the ability of the body to keep its normal equilibrium. Of course, the sudden running up steps or suddenly descending tends to make the keeping of the equilibrium much disturbed. Use precautions, but not necessarily refrain from using stairs.
16. (Q) Any exercise; if so, of what nature should it be? (A) Walking is the best exercise for the body; but not running, not pushing, not pulling or hauling things about.
17. (Q) What will give confidence to the body that she can build up again? (A) The removal of the fears - which as we find can best be done by producing the better equilibrium through the system through the cerebrospinal adjustments and stimulations as indicated.
18. (Q) Any further advice at this time? (A) These we would do, and as we find the very nature of the adjustments, as well as the low electrical treatments, as well as the character of etheronics indicated, will be the better for this body. Do that.
19. We are through with this Reading. Copy to Mrs. [903] - Air Mail, Special " " Ass'n file Extra copy [which was enclosed] to be sent to Dr. Mary Miller, 205 West 57th St., New York City; asking her to recommend someone in your section who can give the type of treatment suggested. (The Reading for [1963] [husband] is coming under separate cover, as soon as I can type it. Love, GD.) .)
