1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [2002], present in this room. You will consider his mental and spiritual development in this experience and advise him at this time as to which of the following steps is most advisable: (1) Remain in present practice. (2) Obtain a M.D. degree. (3) Join the armed services without a commission. (4) Attempt to obtain a commission outside of the Medical Department. You will answer the questions that may be asked:

2. EC: In considering all the circumstances, the environs and the activities that are to be - we find that the better course would be to obtain a medical degree - or to make application at once through those channels for special training.

3. Begin this as soon as possible, even February if at all practical. Then when there is the registration and selection, these conditions will be given due consideration.

4. In most such cases, much would depend upon the attitude of the individual, as to the advancements that might be obtained. But here, through these channels and in this manner, the greater consideration, the greater possibilities, the greater abilities of the body and the mind may be manifested.

5. (Q) Which school should I obtain my M.D. degree from - Duke University or University of Virginia? (A) WE would select Hopkins, rather than either of these, as more consideration would be given from this particular school under the circumstances that will arise as RESPECTING those considerations from varied institutions.

6. (Q) Would I be commissioned in the Medical Department of the armed service? (A) If there is as much as three months' training, and THEN there is the selection, you would be commissioned.

7. (Q) Who should I see to enter medical school? (A) Those regular channels through which this is an

activity.

8. (Q) How long should I study to obtain my degree? (A) Let this be, and as it will be, a consideration from the armed services - if this is begun before February, or by the 4th or 5th of February.

9. (Q) Considering the best interest and development of both Margaret Reay and myself, should I marry her at this time? (A) If this is agreeable to each under the existent circumstances and conditions, it is well worth considering.

10. (Q) Will the draft board allow me to enter Johns Hopkins? (A) If the application is made at once.

11. (Q) Any further advice or counsel at this time? (A) These are strenuous periods for all, yet keep that spiritual attitude that has been the background of purposes in the entity's experience - and it will stand in stead when disappointments or disturbing conditions arise. DO these things first as indicated, at once; not with the purpose of a hedge but the natural tendencies of the body, in that the TRAINING well fits the entity for a commission in the medical corp.
