1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2015].
3. As we find, there is an impoverishment to the supplying of nutriments necessary for the satisfying of the appetite of the developing body.
4. And the disagreements are causing an inflammation through the intestinal tract; and without changes may cause not only a colitis condition but inflammation about the umbilical cord.
5. This arises from the lack of the elements in the food.
6. As we find, it would be well to change to the Carnation formulas - weakened in the beginning, of course, and gradually being brought to a normal formula for the age and the development. However, to supply this body it will necessarily require a somewhat stronger formula than that ORDINARILY used for the age.
7. It would be well also that at least half to a drop of Glyco-Thymoline be included in every other feeding, until the odor of same can be detected in the stool. This is to clarify, or to prevent inflammation through the intestinal tract.
8. Use Castoria to correct or to cause the proper balance through the alimentary canal.
9. Do these and, as we find, we may bring the better balance for this body, [2015].

11. (Q) What dosage and how often should the Castoria be given? (A) This only if it becomes necessary, you see; and then, of course, only one to two drops at each dose, three to six hours apart, until it has made the correction through the alimentary canal - which will be detected, of course, in the stool.

This would have nothing to do, of course, with the frequency of the Glyco-Thymoline - as these will work together, and the Glyco-Thymoline is for one thing - the correcting in the colon, while the Castoria is for the digestive system.
12. (Q) Will you give the formula for the milk, that should be started? (A) This should be the regular formula as supplied to physicians through the Carnation Company. With this body, later it would be well to add the Lime Water - which is a portion of the formula, but would be added according to the very development; for the body is well developed, and will require such to prevent the LACK of sufficient calcium in the system.
13. (Q) How much weaker should the formula be in the beginning? (A) This will necessarily have to be tested. It may be found necessary at first to be HALF, then it may be three-quarters. This will depend upon the conditions; for, as is indicated and is known, with a developing child - especially at this age - it may change within an hour.
14. (Q) It should be taken entirely off the mother's milk? (A) As given, change to the Carnation formula. The sooner this is done the better.
