1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which he may submit, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2026].
3. Now as we find, while many conditions in the general physical forces are very good, there are weaknesses and tendencies that may be corrected in the present, that have long given disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body.
4. These as we find have to do with the circulation, as related to the heart, the liver and the lungs, as related to the activities through the rest of the system.
5. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2026], we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. In the blood supply, as has been indicated, there are disturbances in the manner in which same functions through this particular portion of the circulation. This is primarily, then, a liver disorder, and not a heart disturbance. And, though there becomes an involvement in the metabolism, the katabolism here is very good; indicating that there is a better balance between the lung and the heart than between the circulations below same.
7. These naturally, as we find, have their effect upon the nervous system. And here, while the nervous system is not the cause, the effect upon the nervous system and the lower hepatic circulation prevents the better balance in the metabolism being kept in the system.
8. Thus we find at times the excesses of the uric forces through the blood circulation, a variation in the activity of the kidneys, but sympathetically - owing to the filling, or fullness as applies to those conditions in the upper portion of the system.
9. In the nervous forces - as has been indicated. These
2026-1 Page 2
are effects, then, to the nerve system.
10. The cerebrospinal system keeps a very good coordination. The sympathetics, or the nervous forces that parallel with the cerebrospinal, are involved more through the lower portion of the lungs, and those areas above the kidneys, - and the general nervous condition which arises under strain of overactivity, either physical or mental.
11. These bring about spells of coldness or clamminess in portions of the system - the shortness of breath if there is a special activity or exercise at times. These are reflexes, and - as indicated - are nerve disturbances; though not caused by the nervous system, yet giving - as it were - rather a chill to that coordinating force between cerebrospinal and sympathetic.
12. In the functioning of the organs themselves:
13. Brain forces are very good.
14. The reactions through the throat, the liver, the lungs AND the trachea sympathetically bring disturbances in the lower portion of lungs; though the lungs themselves are not involved other than sympathetically.
15. In the digestive forces, as related to heart's activity, there is that fullness along those areas between the circulation in the liver and heart; and a submerged gall duct is a disturbance which brings this reaction to the body, as we find same here - upsetting the digestive forces at times, sympathetically making for the disturbances through the lower extremities, the lower hepatics, or the kidneys at other times; general nervous reactions at other times, and a form of reaction that prevents the hormones of the blood supplying sufficient at times of the leucocytes in the blood supply. Though the red blood count comes near to normal, the white blood is deficient at times and excessive at others, and the blood pressure changes - owing to those disturbances indicated.
16. As we find, then - there needs to be first the consideration of the diet; also applications to purify the system or drain the gall duct, that it may bring a better reaction through same for the purifying and cleansing of the system. And in doing so we will bring the better conditions as related to the lung, the heart AND the liver.
17. Then:
18. For at least one hour each day for three days in succession we would apply the Castor Oil Packs over the liver and the caecum area. Use at least three thicknesses of flannel in hot Castor Oil; wrung out, not poured on. Apply this just as warm as the body can retain same. After sufficient padding to protect the clothing, then apply an
2026-1 Page 3
electric pad to keep same warm or hot for at least an hour.
19. After the third day of the Packs, take internally two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.
20. Then the next day have a colonic irrigation.
21. Then begin with corrections, osteopathically, in the 9th dorsal area; extending same upward for better drainages from the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical and vegetative nerve centers.
22. Keep these for at least six to eight treatments.
23. Then apply the series of the Castor Oil Packs again, with the taking of the Olive Oil following same; and resting from the osteopathic treatments through this period.
24. In the matter of the diet - have plenty of gruels, especially the steel cut oats (not rolled oats) and whole wheat, at least three or four times each week.
25. Once each week, to keep the better connection or association of activities from the gall ducts, use in the diet the Jerusalem artichoke; that the tendencies for sugar through the blood may be reduced, owing to those changes as will be wrought. One time this may be taken raw, the next time cooked (and cooked as would be an Irish potato). This will supply insulin sufficient to reduce those conditions which tend, and will tend, to exhibit themselves through these applications.
26. Keep away from meats. Have plenty of green, raw vegetables; and not too much of those that are ONLY bulk.
27. Do these, and we will bring better conditions for this body, purifying the system, alleviating the disturbing forces; bringing much nearer normal forces for the body, [2026].
28. Ready for questions.
29. (Q) What causes, and what should be done for, the lump in the throat. Is this tending towards goitre? (A) This is as related to the trachea, as we have indicated that shows disturbance through nerve reflexes. With the correction of the glandular forces as related to the assimilating forces of the system, which are associated with both the liver and kidneys, these disturbances will disappear.
30. (Q) What causes, and what should be done for, the pain in the back, which the doctors call a sacro-ileac disturbance? (A) This is that reflex as we have just indicated, that arises between the upper and lower hepatic circulation, by this excess of disturbance which arises in the blood stream at times of uric poisoning. And thus poisons - or uric forces that are as poisons - accumulate in those areas. The application of the hot Castor Oil Packs over the liver and
2026-1 Page 4
gall duct area, as we have suggested for purifying the system, should clear same. Should there be such pains during the periods of these treatments, then apply a saturated solution of Epsom Salts in Packs across the small of the back, or over the area where the sacro-ileac disturbance is in the system, see? But these other conditions which we have indicated are as the causes, and the effects are to the nervous system.
31. (Q) What causes the pain and numbness in outside of the left foot? (A) The pressure upon the sacro-ileac area, or the lumbar area, causes a slowed circulation. These are not in the form of toxic forces, but of the uric nature - which benumb, or produce the feeling as of the foot or limb going to sleep, see? Do these things as we have indicated, and we will bring the normal, or near to normal forces for this body.
32. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See directions [which were enclosed] for Castor Oil Packs, and Epsom Salts; also extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Dr. Soden, Osteopath.) path.)
