1. HLC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2038].

3. As we find with this body, there are very definite causes of disturbances in the physical functioning of the body.

4. We find that these have been caused by a physical activity that caused a pinching, or a disturbance in the lumbar axis, in the body alighting from a vehicle; turning the limb or ankle, and more disturbance thought to be there, but the real disturbance was caused in the lumbar axis.

5. And it will be found that the limbs are NOT of equal length, if they are measured by the body lying prone.

6. This tendency of the suppression of activities through the lumbar AND the sacral area has hindered the impulse of the circulation to the lower limbs. At times this causes the cold extremities, at others a numbness, an aching through the knees, and a tautness in the muscular forces above the knees - under a portion of the limb.

7. Also an aching is caused in the smaller or lower portions of the cerebrospinal system, and a hindering towards the activity of the lower intestinal tract; giving a heaviness in the abdominal area, especially toward the right side, - though sharp or acute pains occasionally through the lower left side.

8. We find that these disturbances have produced at times such a reaction upon the nervous system as to hinder the nominal or normal reaction through the nerves along the cerebrospinal or the sympathetic system; thus a heaviness through the nape portion of the neck, through the vagus center, and a fullness at times through chest - as from

reflexes to the muscular forces in the area about the thyroid, and extending to the sternum portion of the breast area.

9. These are the disturbances as we find them with this body.

10. These, of course, sympathetically disturb the circulatory forces, and there are the natural reactions towards eliminations, and the ability of the body to use self in locomotion - or soon tiring out.

11. To remove the disturbances, -

12. We would have, first, those applications of heavy salt packs across the area of the lumbar AND the sacral; this of an evening or night, before there would be the osteopathic adjustments in the lumbar axis, the coccyx area, and the coordinating of the other centers - that is, at the 9th dorsal specific, the brachial center, and the vagus plexus - with those corrections as GRADUALLY made.

13. This as we find should NOT require a great NUMBER of adjustments, but those of a rather specific nature.

14. As an aid to better eliminations, we would use the SERUTAN; thus producing greater bulk through the intestinal system and aiding in better eliminations.

15. In the diet - have those foods that are body, blood and nerve building; ELIMINATING any great quantity of meats of any character, though not entirely eliminated unless so desired by the body.

16. Doing these, we will bring the better and near to normal forces for the body, [2038].

17. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) Would you recommend any particular doctor for following these suggestions? (A) Any one that would work with the suggestions. But the applications of the salt may be made, or SHOULD be made, several hours before the adjustments are made. Dobbins, or Robertson.

19. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one to be taken to the Osteopath, whichever one is chosen to follow the Reading; as both of those mentioned have had considerable experience in this direction) Copy to Ass'n file (Dr. Frank Dobbins, 551 Fifth Avenue, New York City. Dr. Lawrence S. Robertson, 60 East 42nd Street, New York City.
