1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2040]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, conditions are very different in the present from that as we had here before; and these in the present are not for betterments.
4. There should have been some corrections osteopathically made, with those applications as we suggested heretofore.
5. In the present there are those subluxations that are causing the pressures upon the blood supply to the bronchi and to portions of the lung; that causes a filling up of same oft, and the shortness of breath; that, with the increase in the weight, is gradually becoming harder and harder upon the circulation to the heart.
6. These combined are the disturbances as we find in the present.
7. It is the form of pressure that causes the phthisis, or asthmatic reaction, and is producing hardships upon the circulation from the lungs to heart, to liver.
8. These, then, are the conditions to be met.
9. First, as we find, we would in the present change the environment. While the present environ is very well so far as the temperature is concerned, we find that it is not so good as to altitude.
10. Portions of California would be better, near the edge of mountains, closer to Los Angeles - or the coastal area there. These will be NATURAL helpful conditions.
11. Then there should be, by an osteopath, the corrections made as first indicated - in the area of the upper dorsal and through the cervical area.
12. For the asthmatic reaction, take CALCIDIN - in this manner: Dissolve two or three one-grain tablets in an ounce of warm water, and keep this warm - not by heating it, but
2040-2 Page 2
by keeping it in a warm place, you see. Stir and take a teaspoonful of the solution about three times a day. Stir it thoroughly before taking the dose, but keep warm - and keep covered.
13. Then, as for precautions concerning the weight:
14. Do not overtax the body, but take sufficient exercises to get the body tired at times. Walking or the like would be the better type of exercise.
15. Do not take great quantities of starches or meats.
16. DO take at least four ounces of Welch's Grape Juice four times each day; that is, three ounces of the grape juice stirred in one ounce of plain water (not carbonated water) and taken half an hour before each meal and before retiring at night.
17. Do these, and as we find we will bring the better conditions for this body. This will prevent the disturbance becoming a constitutional one, and the expansion of the thrombose in the connection between heart, lungs and liver.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Do you suggest that I refrain from ocean bathing? (A) This is not necessary - that is, to refrain; just so there is not overtaxing. But we WOULD change the climatic conditions.
20. (Q) Exposing myself to this constant sunshine will help or harm me? (A) This is helpful, and will be MORE helpful under the different environ. Change from one coast to the other.
21. (Q) Should I become active in business or stay idle? (A) Stay idle for the present. In a year, become active in business - if there have been the corrections made osteopathically as indicated.
22. (Q) What will aid my breathing at night? (A) As has been indicated.
23. (Q) Any specific directions for the osteopath? (A) Correct those as indicated - the subluxations in the upper dorsal. These will be found as indicated; subluxations producing pressure, and becoming the contributory cause to the phthisis or asthma.
24. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Do these, and as we find there will be the better conditions for this body.

us know the name and address of the one you choose, so we may put him on our mailing list - and also ask him for a report at the proper time. In 1932 we were given the name of an osteopath in Los Angeles who followed out instructions given through a reading. You might look him up when you go out there. Dr. Raymond M. Bersinger, 315 S. Western Ave., Los Angeles, Calif. Or, if you have trouble locating a suitable osteopath, we would refer you to our friend, Mr. Walter H. Goetz, Republic Productions, Inc., 4024 No. Radford Ave., No. Hollywood, Calif., who has been out there for some time and no doubt can refer you to his osteopath. Please let us know how you get along.) .)
