Time of Reading 4:40 to 4:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.
1. HLC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2042].
3. Now as we find, the conditions are that of a subjugation of the normal flow of impulse for activity between physical and mental consciousness; produced by pressures upon the nervous system between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic.
4. This is the cause of the lack of regaining physical consciousness; and, as we find, may be relieved - if there is the removal of the pressures which exist in the 1st and 2nd cervical areas, and in the lower portion of the lumbar areas.
5. We find that this might be the more PRACTICALLY done in an institution where there is the care for that condition which will be a part of the experience with the first removal of the pressures in that area.
6. For it will produce that first of hallucinations - as indicated at times by the manner in which there are the reactions that produce the drawing to the side of the head and to portions of the body.
7. These measures as we find, though, with the application of the low electrical forces carrying a Gold vibration to the nerve system, should within three to six weeks bring a near NORMAL condition for this body, [2042].
8. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) Should the Appliance carrying the Gold be used in the institution, or later? (A) The Appliance should be used AS the adjustments are made to remove these pressures; and hence would be used in the institution. This would necessarily be of a high charge of the LOW electrical forces - that is, we would as the

solution for charging the Appliance; use in a gallon and a half of Distilled Water: Copper Sulphate (2 1/2 lbs.), The combinations for turning the acids to the activities with same (1/4 ounce), and Sulphuric Acid C.P. (at least 2 ounces). The attachments of the Appliance would be, the small copper plate to the 2nd cervical, and the large nickel plate (through which the Gold Solution passes vibratorially) to the 4th lumbar - to react upon the glandular forces that act with the nerve ends in the lower portion of the cerebrospinal system that coordinate there with those of the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system; thus renewing sufficient of the impulses through the electrical vibrations to act in conjunction with the supplying of nerve impulse in the system.
10. (Q) If it would be impossible to move the body, could this be handled in the home? (A) It would not be as well in the end, but may be HANDLED; though it is necessary that there be a NORMALCY in the coordinating between the IMPULSE and the physical activities AS consciousness of the physical nature returns.
11. (Q) Would you recommend any special institution, or doctor, to handle this? (A) As we find, WE would have Hildreth!
12. (Q) If it were handled in the home, whom would you suggest? (A) We wouldn't suggest!
13. (Q) Any other suggestions at this time? (A) This as we find, if handled in the manner indicated, would bring the near to normal physical reactions, - mentally and physically.
14. We are through for the present. Two copies to Mother, one to be given to the Osteopathic Nerve Specialist who handles the case Copy to Ass'n file (The Reading recommends: Dr. A. G. Hildreth, Still-Hildreth Sanitarium, Macon, Missouri.) [Note by GD included with Rdg., separately: I would suggest that you phone one of our members, Mrs. [413], and get her to go over the Reading with you. She has had considerable experience with following Readings for those in her own family, as well as many others. She is probably one of the ladies who called on you, and will be glad to help you interpret anything that may not be understood. GD]
