Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y.

1. GC: You will have before you [2052], born Jan. 10. 1906, in New Haven, Conn., and the Life Reading given for him thru this channel on Dec. 1, 1939. The entity, now in his office at the ... Purchasing Commission, Room ..., N.Y.C., seeks information, advice and guidance - in the light of that best for his mental and spiritual development - concerning his past, present and future associations (as they should be) with the following: Present employers; his wife, [...] at work at ... Corp., N.Y.C., [551], at work in Room ..., ..., N.Y. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [2052] together with the information which has been indicated for this entity.

3. In considering the conditions, the environs in which the entity finds self in the present - we find that a very careful study of that which has been given would indicate the urges latent and manifested in the experience of the entity from his sojourns through the material plane.

4. Here the entity will find the need of there being, first, definite decisions within self as to what is an ideal - and as to WHAT is an ideal; then as to what is self's ideal, spiritually, mentally, physically.

5. And, in this analysis of the philosophy, the morality, the theology, lay the stress upon the self making no mistake in that it is not what it demands in others, more than it is willing to live by, and be, in self.

6. Thus the entity may find the answer to all those problems which present themselves in its relationship with self and the activities in the environs.

7. This advice, the entity may say, is not definite. Then, it is because self is not sure in self, nor does it remain, or live, or act towards others as it demands others to live towards self.

8. While circumstances and conditions change, and there are the needs for various interpretations of that which has produced or does produce the material, mental and spiritual

relationships or activities - it will be found that such variations is merely (and merely should be emphasized here) because of the fact that we GROW in grace, in knowledge, in uderstanding, only as we apply or experience those influences which come about from day to day.

9. As to the associations in the present environs: This might well be a place where it might be said (if it is used as an example), "I told you so." Yet, this is an example, an experience, wherein the entity should come to the realization of the necessity to "STOP, LOOK, LISTEN" to the conscience within.

10. It has been intimated and given that there ARE abilities, there ARE virtues, there ARE possibilities - but if there is not a heeding to the law, as in relationships, to that for which each soul, each entity enters a material experience, the warnings will be as naught.

11. To be sure, the entity finds the present environs in business associations very well; yet there is the realization that this is very UNCERTAIN, and may terminate at any time, or - through the MISBEHAVIOR of others - it may continue for some time; yet is only partially of a constructive nature.

12. It is a place, a condition, an experience, that - to be sure - must be met in the material affairs and relationships of mankind; and in such there can be honesty, justice, patience, forethought enacted in administering such. Yet, the inclinations, the tendencies here - not of self but of many in the associations, and the general air of those things that represent such - are to take advantage of it NOW, it won't last! Take all you can!

13. Is this honesty with self? Is it as you would have thy brother deal with thee?

14. Then, it would be well that there be the considering of associations or affiliations with such organizations that are in keeping with those outlines as we have indicated, as to the inclinations and tendencies from the sojourns through the earth; that self may be associated with that which is more constructive in its nature.

15. As to the relationships with the companion: This is a choice which must be made in self. There has been or may be felt within self that there are question marks as to the conduct of the companion. Art thou free from censure, thyself? How thinkest thou? Art thou more righteous than she?

16. There ARE those possibilities of this becoming a union in which BOTH may become REAL helpmates one for the other. As to whether or not this is most desirable, must be a

decision made twixt thee and thy companion! But analyze the purposes, the desires of each. Have you each learned your lesson? Are you each willing to leave ALL ELSE and be one in purpose, in desire - which IS the law of companionship of man and wife? Or will there be the demanding of the one, and the lack of sincerity on the part of the other?

17. Upon that decision will depend what thy attitude and thy relationship will be to thy friend.

18. But hast thou been a friend? What is thy definition, thy analysis of friend? Hast thou been true to thy vows? Hast thou a right to make in the experience of another that thou hast condemned in thy companion?

19. These are questions and answers as to same, that may be had only within thy own conscience - according to what has been and IS thy ideal.

20. For, remember, thy ideal must be of a nature that is eternal. For, ye will live with same throughout thy own consciousness, throughout thy own activities.

21. As to associations with others - [551] - warnings have been indicated. There are the abilities in each, IF these will be purified in the light of that warning, that admonition which has been indicated. These have been stepping-stones, yes - but there is a way that seemeth right unto a man, in his attempt to justify himself, but the end thereof - in the light of the law of Creative Forces or God - is DEATH, hell, destruction!

22. YE would not walk therein!

23. But the choices must be made by thee.
