Time of Reading ... Ave., 10:55 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2054].

3. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent a normal physical functioning or reaction through the system.

4. In considering the applications that may be of a beneficial effect, the condition of the mental attitude of the body should also be taken into consideration.

5. The present conditions are the beginnings of active forces from changes that are being brought about in the glandular system, especially as related to the functioning of the organs of the pelvis, or the genital system.

6. These then, to be sure, with their unbalanced reaction, cause a great many conditions which appear at times to be more than just idiosyncrasies. Often these have taken and do take on the appearance of a hypochondriac disturbance, - so that with any suggestion or expression the body reacts, in one direction or another, not always to the suggestion but always to the suggestion there IS a reaction. It may be just the opposite, or a contrarywise reaction at times, owing to the nature of the disturbances indicated!

7. As we find, the body should be under the supervision of one who would make applications combining suggestions with mechanical (osteopathic) manipulations, and the administrations of influences that would act more directly upon the glandular system.

8. Such applications as we find might be the better accomplished under the supervision of one of the Naturopathic school; such as either Mary Miller or William Taylor. Either of these would be proper; using the adjustments or corrective measures for the areas in the

lumbar, sacral and coccyx area, where there are the pressures that aid in bringing periods when there is at times the losing of self almost to the incoordination between the reflexes from the sympathetic system, and the coordinant reaction through the cerebrospinal system.

9. At such periods there may be the hot and cold flushes, or the desires NOT to eat, and then periods when it overacts as to the goings or comings, or towards individuals - as it were, becoming averse to some.

10. These all arise from this indeterminate reaction of impulse between the two systems, causing incoordination to arise through the activity of the glandular forces, rather than the normal reactions.

11. Also we would cleanse the glandular force through the use of small quantities of Atomidine as a purifier. Take one minim (drop) in half a glass of water each morning, before any meal is taken, for at least a week or ten days.

12. In the meantime there will have been five or six of the adjustments, with suggestions, and the use of the low electrical forces to make for the combination of reactions to be more coordinant between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic systems.

13. And then leave off the Atomidine, and take small doses of Tonicine to make for glandular corrections.

14. Then we would gradually build up the body, and we will find the better influences for this body of [2054].

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) Would you suggest Dr. Mary Miller or Dr. William Taylor for this particular body? (A) Either of these; but there must be the choice, of course, or the reaction; and those are to be considered who are so closely associated with the body, and their cooperative forces obtained also.

17. (Q) When did this condition begin? (A) It has been coming on for some little time. It began with those periods when the changes began; some six months to a year ago - and these have gradually grown, and have increased by the general pressures brought because of the various periods arising in the experience of the body.

18. (Q) Any special diet or exercise? (A) These had best be outlined by the one making the administrations that we have indicated. These become varied under varied conditions. For there are periods when it will NOT take this or that, see? and there needs to be rather the coaxing, and the following of these suggestions through the cooperative forces of those who maintain more of an activity or association with the body.

19. Do that.

20. We are through for the present. Copy to Husband (two copies; one for Dr. Miller or Dr. Taylor) " " Ass'n file (Dr. Mary Miller, 205 West 57th St., New York City, and Dr. Wm. D. Taylor, 29 So. Maple Terrace, East Orange, N.J. Let us know which of the above you choose to take the case, so we may ask for a report at the proper time. At your convenience, we would appreciate a history of Mrs. [2054]'s case to the time of obtaining the Reading, so we may have something with which to compare our information. This is valuable for our files.) )
