Born May 15, 1905, in Reading, Penna. Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y.

1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '30 - serious, hard years - '28 - '26 - expectancy - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have those records here of that entity now known as or called [2061]. (In undertone: "You know, she should do something about this antrum trouble!" After saying this, Mr. Cayce coughed.)

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these - the interpretations - are chosen with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity; that there may be a greater awakening to the possibilities of making this experience a development, thus fulfilling that purpose for entrance into this plane; thus filling the life with more hope, more understanding, and more peace - and the desire that self be in accord with that purpose for which a divine opportunity is given to each soul in entering a material experience.

5. As to the astrological aspects, we find the entity coming close to the cusps; thus bearing a twofold nature - the inclinations for urges that cause confusion at times, and at others that determination that self's own way is going to be had regardless! These do not make for a temperament that is easily kept in such a way as to bring harmonious forces into the experience.

6. In Venus we find the appreciation of lovely things, the

2061-1 Page 2

beauties of nature, the beauties of life and beauties of associations - as well as general abilities to meet or match self against circumstances. And these, when they are considered at all by others, may bring helpful forces; but when there is continued deceit, or that of uncertainty, or the unbelief in others, this brings the exercising of those influences from Gemini that bring confusion, and activities that are displeasing to self and often misunderstood by others.

7. From Saturn we find both the conflicting and the benevolent influences. Thus we see change in circumstance, in environs, in the outlooks, in the ideas and ideals, in the marital relationships as well as in the home life, as well as in the friends and associates. These become very disturbing when in those periods these become the determining factors for activity, with the very inclinations - as indicated - of the greater influence in Venus.

8. In Jupiter we find the greater benevolent forces. Thus the inclination to hide away from others much of that which weighs heavily upon the self; and the ability, as it were, to put a good face upon bad circumstance, often. This may be helpful or detrimental. For, when there arises the doubt or fear, and there are the attempts to appear before others, SOMETHING of self within is often so crushed as to become a drag and a drudge upon the whole abilities of the entity, or even the personality of the entity, to carry on.

9. These then, from the astrological aspects, would appear to be contrariwise to the entity's ever influencing circumstance or conditions in such a way or manner as to bring harmony or peace or joy into the material experience.

10. However, it should be understood that these are merely urges, and need not necessarily control the material and mental applications or circumstances in the experience.

11. For, as has been indicated, these (the astrological urges) are merely to point out that which is existent, and then to assist or direct or indicate the manner in which such may be met in the experience.

12. Each soul enters a material sojourn, throughout the various phases of its development, for a purposefulness; that purpose that the soul may become aware of the influence of Creative Forces or God in its experience, its life - and that the expressions of same in the relationships to others are to be in such measures and manners as to indicate that such IS the consciousness of the entity in its daily relationships with others, and with those influences that may appear to weigh heavily upon the entity at times.

13. Realize, then, that SELF cannot bear the burdens alone,

2061-1 Page 3

ever; only by the whole trust in Him who is the way, the truth and the light. And in that consciousness, realize He hath not given thee a greater burden than ye may bear - with Him! For He hath given, "Take my yoke upon you - learn of me, for my yoke is easy, my burden is light," to those who wholly trust in the Lord.

14. For, "Though He slay me, yet will I love Him" should be the burden of thy thoughts to others and to those obligations and conditions which surround thee day by day.

15. Not that there is to be the constant condemning of others, nor the allowing of self to be spit upon, or to be not considered. This He has not asked; but that ye give and pray, "Mercy, Lord, and not sacrifice."

16. This, then, adhere to; in thy life day by day; meditating upon the promises and the life He hath indicated will bring to thy experience the joy He hath promised, in "My peace I leave with thee," not as the world knoweth peace, but as ye may know in thine own heart when thy daily life, thy daily conversation, thy daily convocation, is such that there is nothing THERE that condemns thee!

17. As to the appearances in the earth, we find these are not great in number, yet they are quite varied in their activities and environs. Thus they bring this emotional nature that, as we have indicated, is a part of the experience; that can ONLY be met in the wholly trusting in the LAW OF LOVE, and not in the law of an eye for an eye, or a tooth for a tooth; but rather as ye would that it should be measured to thee, measure ye even so to others - in every phase of thy experience.

18. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those early periods in that portion of the land now called Toledo.

19. We find that the entity was among those early settlers, acting in the capacity of an instructor to the young during that experience; becoming the home maker in those lands where it was necessary that each of the household carry ALL, and more too, than its share of activity.

20. Yet we find the entity gained through the experience. For, as is experienced in the present, to the entity, the highest tribute that can be in the experience of self or others is to have, to hold, to be, that which brings harmony in relationships with the home, and the occupants thereof.

21. Thus we will find that these conditions will be, are being, tried as by fire.

22. The name then was Charlotte Woolsey, being of the families of the cardinals.

23. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land,

2061-1 Page 4

during those periods when there was great stress being laid upon the mothers of the land for their cooperation with the Church and State, in the training of the young.

24. There we find the entity in that experience was in the capacity as a mother of many who made great disturbances in the commands and demands of Church and State upon the life of the entity.

25. Thus we find in the present experiences the desire to HOLD TO, and yet to COMMAND the directing of those of its own household.

26. In that experience the entity gained, the entity lost.

27. In the present, make that whole activity of such, in measures that all forces as related to same are in accord not with the precepts of man but thy own conscience as related to the promises that He has made in His word to thee, and to those who are of the household of faith in Him.

28. Before that we find the entity was in that land now known as the Promised Land, during those periods when there was the breaking up of the land - when the entity's peoples were being carried away into captivity by the Persians, or by Nebuchadnezzar and his horde and hosts.

29. The entity was among the younger people who were thus carried away, yet its sincerity of purpose in keeping its tenets as to its relationships to Creative Forces, or those things that had been taught by those of its own household, brought hardships - but harmony - by the very influence of such in the experience, though in a strange land.

30. The name then was Elkan.

31. In the present experience, let those activities be such that, though there may come into the experience the separation in the relationships with those who are near and dear, there may be no condemnation in thine own self, or on thine own part, or thy finding fault with any. For, know that if justice had been, or were, or should be demanded of any soul, it would be as if it were not. For He is mindful of His children, ever; and as a loving Father pitieth His children.

32. So will He, that is the Maker of heaven and earth, He that is the uprising and the downsitting of all mankind, bring to thy life and thy experience that necessary for thy greatest development - and peace and harmony within self will be the result, if thy purposes, thy desires, thy labors are spent in the activity for others, rather than attempting to justify ideas of any moral, physical or mental relationships.

33. Know that truth and honor need no justification; rather the glorifying of same only is righteousness in the sight of

2061-1 Page 5

thy Maker.

34. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of turmoils and strifes, when there were those rebellions, and the banishment of the minister or priest there.

35. The entity was among those of the household of faith, as would be called, in the activities of the Priest; yet with the hardships wrought, with the turmoils, the entity returned and sought - at the King's Council - a restoration for self. Only in those periods when greater awakening arose, by the return of the Priest, did the entity realize the errors that had been upon the part of many.

36. In the present experience, then, there may be found - in the better analysis of self, self's desires, and a closer study, a closer interpretation of His words, His promises, His laws - that as may come into the experience, mentally and physically, as may enrich the life to such measures that harmony and peace, and those influences necessary, may bring greater happiness into the experience.

37. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, and that to which it may attain, and how:

38. In the physical and mental abilities to instruct others as to the manner of economic, household, or any other matters pertaining to the naturalness of man's relationships, or children's relationships to the home, there may be found the greatest field of service or outlet for the entity.

39. Then - analyze self, and self's desires, and self's purposes. Know what is thy ideal in the spiritual, in the mental, in the material; not as to how much others may do for thee, but as to how much you may give, may be, to bring the knowledge of the oneness of God's love into the lives of others.

40. Know that if you would have love, you must manifest same in thy daily life; if you would have patience to know the ways with thee, study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed; rightly dividing the words of truth, as are recorded in the promises of God to thee.

41. Know, realize, that thy soul, thy life, thy joy, thy happiness, is as precious in His sight (thy Maker) as any other soul in the world of opportunity today.

42. Thence, keep self unspotted from any self-condemnation; and as ye do this, ye will find rest and harmony in thy experience, through this material sojourn.

43. Ready for questions.

44. (Q) Considering my domestic problem, please advise if it is best for me to continue living with my husband?

2061-1 Page 6

(A) Thou readest aright the law. Know, as He has given, if these relationships have and do become such, or in such a state where there is nothing but torment, then there is given the way in which this may be relieved. But, let nothing be left undone that would preserve that which is so near and dear to thy heart, or that would make thee afraid in any way.

45. (Q) What steps should be taken for future happiness? (A) Engage in those activities, as indicated, in which there may be an outlet for the greater abilities, the greater opportunities for finding self in its relationships to the world and to individuals.

46. (Q) Please advise me just what I should do about my marital difficulties? (A) As just indicated - if these grow to those measures that all is in self lost, then let it not wreck thy life. Make that activity such that ye may not be tormented by those activities of others, who look not upon their obligations, their promises, their duties.

47. (Q) Just what attitude should I take, considering my husband's unfaithfulness to me? [See 2061-1, Par. B2.] (A) As indicated. Read that which has been outlined. Then, what is thy ideal.
