1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2063].
3. Now as we find, there are rather the complications of disturbances which prevent the better normal physical action of the body.
4. These as we find relate to the circulation, the lymph activity in the body, and the effect of a glandular disturbance also.
5. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2063] we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. In the blood supply we find the indications of activities in the body which show that there are disturbances in the glandular force as related to the circulation, and also as related to the eliminations.
7. And in this we find the involvement of the lymph supply to the system; thus forming a complication, or complex disturbances which make for the weaknesses which occur in the ability of the body for activities, owing to the pressures produced in the heart's circulation between the lungs, the liver and the kidneys themselves - and these all become involved sympathetically, through the disturbances from a glandular force.
8. In the nervous system - here we find the conditions which exist are rather the effect of the poisons and the accumulations forming in areas, especially involving the locomotory forces and centers. Thus these in an activative force cause a great deal of distress, or inability for activity - as the body attempts to use self.
9. These also form accumulations which produce the effect in the lymph and emunctory circulation as to form pockets, or
2063-1 Page 2
accumulations that take at times the form of lymph sacs or tumors; though these are NOT of a nature that should not respond to those applications which we will suggest to make a change and to create a better coordination through the body.
10. In the functioning of the organs themselves - as indicated, the greatest involvement with the organs is the circulation as related to the heart's activity between the liver and the kidneys. Thus these organs become involved in the disturbances, and at times there is an accumulation of too much uraemic poisons through the system.
11. This, combined with the glandular forces as related to the eliminations, produces the greater disturbance for the body.
12. Then, in making those applications which as we find would bring the better conditions for the body:
13. First, we would have an Epsom Salts Bath at least once a week, until at least three or four of these have been taken. These should be taken regularly in this manner until at least three or four have been taken, you see; though the water need not necessarily, or should NOT be a great deal warmer than body-temperature. This would require at least ten pounds of the Epsom Salts in twenty to thirty gallons of water - and the body should remain in same for at least thirty to forty minutes - being careful that it is watched, and massaged while in the bath, especially across the lumbar area and UNDER the shoulders, and across the area of the brachial center; that the circulation, with the warm water massage, may be aided in stimulating the lymph and the emunctory activity through the perspiratory and the respiratory system.
14. Immediately following such an Epsom Bath, the body should have a thorough rubdown; with an Olive Oil rub along the spine; and then a rubdown especially with alcohol and salt rum, that there may be a thorough closing of the pores of the skin.
15. Also we find that the corrections osteopathically, after the Epsom Baths have been taken - that is, between the periods for such Baths, you see - will be most beneficial in aiding to relieve those pressures which are indicated in the lumbar, the sacral, the 9th dorsal and throughout the upper dorsal - from the 3rd and 4th to the 1st and 2nd cervicals. We would not begin these, however, until after the second or third Epsom Salts Bath.
16. After the second Epsom Bath has been taken (not before), we would then begin taking internally those properties that will aid in a glandular cleansing; that is, small quantities
2063-1 Page 3
of ATOMIDINE. For this body, in the present environs, we would never take more than one minim (drop) of the Atomidine every other day, in half a glass of water before the morning meal is taken. This would be taken only every other day, you see - and be careful that there is a watching of the pulsation during the periods that these properties are taken. We would take five doses, then rest from same for ten days before taking it again.
17. During the rest period from the Atomidine, you see, there should be the Epsom Salts Bath, and the beginning of the osteopathic manipulations.
18. Do these, and - as we find - we will bring much bettered conditions.
19. Follow these for a period of six weeks, and then we would give further instructions.
20. Ready for questions.
21. (Q) What has caused this condition? (A) As indicated, it has arisen from the glandular condition, as well as the disturbed forces of the circulation and eliminations.
22. (Q) What about the diet during this period? (A) Only those things that are easily assimilated, and especially plenty of vegetables and fruit juices, should be the diet.
23. (Q) Anything that should be especially avoided in the diet? (A) Any of those things that would carry too much of a strain upon the heart activity; or, greases or fats should be eliminated from the diet. Do these things, and we will make for the better condition for this body.
