Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be asked:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2064]; present in this room.

3. Now as we find, while conditions as disturb the body are not so acute, save at times, the correction or the eliminating of the disturbing influences which exist in the present would cause better physical reactions; and thus prevent greater disturbances which will arise if corrections are not made, or if there is not the attempt to assist the natural resources of the physical functioning of the system to adjust itself more to normalcy.

4. The disturbing factors, as we find, are glandular; as well as the effect that this glandular disturbance as combined with the functional disorders - produces through the system.

5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2064] we are speaking of, present in this room:

6. In the blood supply we find indications of a disturbance in the metabolism of the system, especially as related somewhat to the thyroid glands, as well as the adrenal glands. For, these combinations - and the disorders through both the upper and lower hepatic circulation - give some distresses to the eliminations, and to the production of uric acid through the system.

7. These naturally in the circulation cause some disturbance where there is the coordinating, or should be better coordination, of the activity of same through the nervous system, as related to the sensory nerve force.

8. Hence we have at times - as combined with the irregularity of the glandular system activity - those reflexes to the organs of the sensory system - as to the

2064-1 Page 2

eyes, the taste, and at times such a fullness to the hearing as to cause some inconvenience.

9. As has been indicated, none of these functioning organs are other than dis-eased - from the disturbances through the system - and not diseased of themselves, but are reflexes, or sympathetic conditions which exist.

10. Also the inclinations through the disturbed metabolism upset the digestive system, under certain nervous strains or reactions. Thus the reflexes as indicated to the upper hepatics, or through the liver area, as related to the excretory functioning to the production of digestive forces for certain characters of foods.

11. These as we find are the general disturbances which exist with this body.

12. Then, to add to the system those properties as may coordinate or correlate the activities of the functioning organs, and stimulate the glandular forces in such an extent that the metabolism, the cleansing of the blood supply, the removal of the pressures upon the ganglia from which impulses are received for the activity of the system would be accomplished, would bring not only relief but the ability of the system to produce such resistances in the system as to prevent greater disturbances later.

13. As we find, then:

14. In the present environment - we would first produce an activity that will purify or set in order the activities of the glands, as it were. Hence we would take internally small doses of Atomidine (which is a form of iodine that becomes retroactive with first the glandular forces of the body). We would take one minim (drop) in half a glass of water, each morning before any meal or food is taken, for five mornings. Then leave off three days - and then begin again and take for five days more.

15. Then begin with a digestant, in the form of ALCAROID, which will assist in assimilating the foods taken. This would be taken ONLY after the heavier meal during a day, whether this be morning, noon or evening - a level teaspoonful taken immediately following that meal. First dissolve it in a little water, you see, then fill the glass, etc.

16. After the Alcaroid has been taken for three of four days, then take a hepatic - preferably the CAROID and Bile Salts Tablets, which as we find will work well with same.

17. It would be well that high enemas or colonics be taken following the usage of this, to purify or cleanse the system.

18. Then, after the system has been cleansed in this manner,

take three to ten osteopathic adjustments; with special reference to the 9th dorsal center, the 4th lumbar plexus, and the whole of the vegetative nerve system - radiating from the 2nd and 3rd and 4th dorsal to the upper, or 1st and 2nd, cervicals.

19. During the time that the osteopathic adjustments are being given, about once or twice each week we would take a weak Watermelon Seed Tea - about two ounces. The proportions would be about a pint of water (boiling) poured over a teaspoonful of crushed watermelon seed and allowed to steep for an hour. Let this quantity be at least two doses, or for two days - and not any more taken during that week.

20. Occasionally (about once a week) we would use the Jerusalem artichoke in the diet, to aid in purifying the activity of the pancreas with the spleen's activity upon both the kidneys and liver, in aiding to reduce the amount of sugar and the irritation that has arisen and does arise at times through the kidney area. One time this would be taken raw, the next time cooked (as would be an Irish potato, but preferably in Patapar Paper); one about the size of a guinea egg.

21. From time to time re-take the Atomidine, in the manner indicated, to aid in purifying the glandular system.

22. Refrain from large quantities of fats in the diet, - either nut fats, vegetable or animal fats especially. Have more of the leafy vegetables, both raw and cooked - these would be preferable for the diet. The body is a very good dietician, but is not always consistent with self.

23. Do these and we will bring better conditions for this body.

24. Ready for questions. [See 2064-1, Par. R1.]
