Born January 6, 1887, in Boston, Mass. Time of Reading 10:35 to 12:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.C.

1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces, giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '35 - changes - '34 - '31 - mental upsets - '20 - yes, a change, - '19 - 1900 - different environ - '99 - '94 - not so well - '93 - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we are given the records here of that entity now known as or called [2067].

4. These records we find are full. Many varied phases of the records here present themselves for interpretation. These, however, are chosen with the desire, the purpose, that this may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to find something which answers within, - as to the relationships of self with the universal consciousness, or God; thus using, applying the many gifts, the many abilities which are latent and manifested in the experience of the entity, through this sojourn, for the glorification of those purposes for which each soul enters a material experience.

5. The natural inclinations and tendencies of the entity, as will be seen, particularly from the material sojourns, influence or urge the entity to become and be a seeker.

6. This one principle the entity must gain, or become more aware of - if the greater understanding, the greater knowledge would be attained, or the greater good accomplished:

2067-1 Page 2

7. It is in the giving of that which is attained that the abilities come for greater comprehension and understanding.

8. This applies not only in the material. For, in this present day - though hardships make it necessary for the consideration of economic influences, and many activities have caused the entity to oft curtail its efforts in some directions - fame and fortune will be the lot of the entity in this experience, unless there is a failing entirely in the use of that which IS in hand.

9. In considering the interpretation of the records here, - this as we find may be said to be a composite of not only the material sojourns, but of the sojourns in the interims between the material sojourns.

10. And these (the material sojourns) have been many. Thus there has been confusion of many natures in this present experience. Gradually, though, the entity has grown to comprehend - not so much because of necessity as because of the earnest seeking and the desire to be used as a channel through which hope, help, aid, might come to others.

11. This is the greater influence for good in the experience of this entity, and it is that which is to be cultivated the more throughout this experience; YET in somewhat more of an humble manner than the mien has indicated at times.

12. For, as has been suggested, these are the composites:

13. Oft the entity is considered by others to be too sure of itself without sufficient proof of the source of the knowledge as may be presented to others.

14. Hence the interest in the occult, and the interest in spiritual things.

15. Discern well - as the environs have proven - the vast difference between occultism and spiritualism, and spirituality.

16. These are fields of service. They each have their place, their part in this entity's experience, as well as in the lives and experiences of a great horde of seekers.

17. But know, as the Teacher of teachers gave, there is one proof for all - "By their fruits ye shall know them."

18. Again, know the author of not only thy faith but of thy confidence as well; and be assured not only from personal experience but from that which such has accomplished in the hearts and the souls of men - in that such authorities are able to measure up - yea, to keep inviolate (through that form or manner of experience) that which is committed unto them.

19. Such knowledge, such interpretations of authorities would only be found by the answers from within. For, "My Spirit beareth witness with thy spirit" is an immutable, an

2067-1 Page 3

unchanging law. And again - the heavens, the earth may pass away, but His laws shall not pass away.

20. Hence in thy seeking, find that answer; not as from something without, but from opening the door of thy own consciousness to the promises that are sure in Him. For ye will find that as the pattern which was shown in the mount to Moses, as well as the greater pattern in the temptations to Jesus upon the mount; in that indeed as He was lifted up, He draws all men (and this means women also) unto Him.

21. This then is, shall be, ever, the basis of thy faith, and not as in they of whom He spoke, "Many shall come in that day and say, Did we not thus and so in thy name accomplish among men those things that bespeak of heavenly things, and I will say I know ye not."

22. As to the influences which arise from the sojourns of the entity other than in the material manifestation, these the entity may comprehend in this manner:

23. The entity finds self a body, a mind, a soul. There are attributes of the physical body that may or may not be controlled by mental forces and influences. There is the soul-body that may not be controlled by, or may be controlled by, the good or the bad influence of spirit. These are as the shadows which were indicated in the mount by the outer court (the body), the inner court (the mind), and the still more holy of holies (the soul). These are but shadows, and yet indicate the trend of the development, - just as the sojourns of an entity in or during interims between earthly or material manifestations indicate the trend in which the soul through VARIED experiences has sought an outlet or an expression.

24. About the earth in man's (or earthly man's) sojourn are planets (so called); and to such has been ascribed an environmental influence - mentally applied upon the movements, the urges, the impulses. And these are in a manner according to the law, "He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet receiveth the prophet's reward."

25. In each experience, then, it is sincerity, hope, faith, that urges on the individual - toward the means, the manner, for the greater expression.

26. So in the experiences of this entity we find Venus, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter and Neptune as the greater environmental influences from a cosmic or outer urge, - through the dreams or visions of the entity.

27. Hence we find these as latent influences in the experience of this entity in this particular sojourn:

28. Beauty is conceivable to the entity in the lowliest as well as the highest. An appreciation of such is a faculty

2067-1 Page 4

of the imagination of the entity. It needs, then, to be the more cultivated. For, remember, the law is as He has given, "Think on these things - meditate on these things." This is cultivation. Not in those tendencies that oft arise from the Uranian forces of the extremes, so that there is the change in the experience and a knowledge "rubbed on" by self, as it were, in its associations with its fellow men, and then immediately peeled off to see what has happened. A crude illustration, but the entity will see this oft in self - if there is the self-analysis of purposes and desires.

29. Men's (and women's) activities are to sow the seed. It's God's part, and promise, to give the increase. It is an answering again of spirit to spirit, the quickening, the enlivening, the life-giving. For, God and love alone are life in its essence.

30. All else are but lines to those forces, for God in His love and in His wisdom has sought such as companions with Him in the movement which began from "God moved and there was light."

31. In thy movements, then, let thy thoughts, thy purposes, thy hopes, thy desires, ever be towards that of light. Not as light of the sun, or even of the stars - for these are but reflections of that GLORIOUS light which is in the SON of God, who is thy light, thy Brother - yea, thy Lord, thy God!

32. In Jupiter we find the broad vision of the entity, as well as the mighty force, power or influence as may be wielded by the entity. Not that the entity may always be conscious of such, but that is the purpose - that may not be seen, may not be handled, but that penetrates to the very heart and core of all activity in which man may find himself in his relationships to his fellow man, or to things, or to conditions which are apparent or latent.

33. This then the entity will do, as it applies itself in its abilities as the writer, as the interpreter of those forces which have impelled men and women in the varied climes, in the varied environs - whether it be from the waters of the Ganges, or from the holy rocks of Horeb, or from the desert sands of Arabia or Egypt. These - their intent and purpose - are one. For, Know, O [2067], the Lord thy God is ONE!

34. Would that all souls could, would, comprehend that great, great sentence - which has been, is, the motivating force in ALL who seek! not in all who impel, but in all who SEEK to live, who SEEK to manifest, who SEEK to give

2067-1 Page 5

expression of God's force or power.

35. For, as all power is ordained of Him, so acknowledge same in thy expressions of that which brings faith and hope and brotherly love and kindness. For these are the fruits of the spirit of truth - that take hold upon, and bring one into, the chamber - into the holy of holies; where He makes Himself known, even to His brethren, as He did in those lands so long ago, with which ye were so closely associated or affiliated!

36. In the influences which arise innately and manifestedly from Neptune, we find the forces or powers of the earthly mother - water - as an influence; coming more in the form of the warning regarding the occult or mystic powers. These are children of doubt and fear - yea, they are also children of light. But know their import. Know that their manifestations have oft sought personal manifestation, as in the spirits of those who sought in the beginnings for personal gratification - when the very evolution of materiality presented an opportunity. Thus they brought to themselves confusion, as well as the necessity of man's own materiality by encasement in matter.

37. Then, seek that such be even as He gave, "a sign cannot be given - MAY not be given - to an adulterous, to a sinful generation; but only to those whose cry is oft, and sincere, 'Create within me a righteous heart, O God, and renew a righteous spirit within me!'"

38. These are not words alone, but are as that which applied in one's daily life may lead to an opening of the veil which enters into the holy of holies - even as that veil which was rent when His Spirit cried unto His God.

39. Then, make that God - His God - thy God. What do ye worship? Might, spirit, power, impulse, hope, or what? Whose power seek ye? Thine own, or that in thy weakness ye may be made strong by His abiding light in thee?

40. As to the appearances in the earth - these, as indicated, are many; they have varied much as to their forces and powers, as to how the emotions have manifested. For, as must be the proper interpretation of same, - material sojourns are as the senses of the material body, just as the astrological sojourns are as the mental or dream body. Thus they find expression oft in FEELINGS towards places, conditions, individuals, that in thine own inner self send out that radiation which (in mystical study) may be seen in the aura, or in the study of a part of numerology as to the number, or in the very emotions as may be expressed in lines of the hand, feet or face. For, remember the law - all carry the mark in their body; just

2067-1 Page 6

as ye bear His mark in thy forehead.

41. In these manners, then - oft in the emotions being five rather than the three (as the earth is interpreted as a three-dimensional sphere of activity), we come to the realm through such emotions or senses - of the fourth, yea and to the fifth dimension. Thus the warning that has been given, - that because of such emotions in self ye will find others oft question thy authority, because of thy interpreting of fourth or fifth dimensional experiences and expressing same in three-dimensional terms!

42. Only those who know God or have sought Him may interpret even His walks among men!

43. So, be mindful - as He warned Thomas, Philip, Andrew and Peter, as well as showed to James and John, that these things are oft hard to be understood by those who may only know that which answers to the sensuousness-consciousness of an entity. Not the senses as the higher realm, but sensuousness that begets (and its children are!) lasciviousness and those forces that engorge or indulge in those things that gratify appetites, and those things that become a part of many who become self-indulgent in habit forming, habit creating.

44. For, the animal man is a creature of habit. But learn rather from such the lesson, and not become so much a part of same. For in nature and in the animal instincts we find only the expressions of a universal consciousness of hope, and never of fear - save created by man in his indulging in the gratification of material appetites.

45. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during the early experiences in the land, when there were the questionings as to those forces, powers, mandates and acts about Salem and Provincetown.

46. Then in the name Dorothy Manley, the entity suffered much for a just cause; misunderstood, misinterpreted. For the voices as heard, the movements as experienced, even as a young girl, were hounded by those who understood not.

47. Learn ye then that lesson in the present, "Cast not pearls before dogs nor swine." For as the dog returns to his vomit and the hog to his wallow, so will they that listen at pearls of great price yet have no thought, no mind, no purpose for same.

48. In the experience the entity found material hardships, mental satisfaction, spiritual awakening; and thus gained in all phases of its experience through that sojourn.

49. The entity was young in years when it lost its experience through the so oft being dipped, as to contract that known in the present as pneumonia - and passed in a

2067-1 Page 7

high fever.

50. In the present such has been the experience of the entity, to catch a glimpse oft, under similar circumstances, from and in various fields of activity, of a something that has taken hold upon self. Remember - these are shadows, and that the real is in Him.

51. Before that the entity was in the land [Palestine] of the Master of masters' sojourn in the earth.

52. During those periods the entity was a queen of no mean estate, and took hold upon the words of the Master - though never personally coming in contact with Him. For the entity then was the companion or wife of Herod, who sought His destruction. Yet the entity's experience there, as Thesea, sought a closer comprehending of the Wise Men.

53. Thus the entity will, or may in this experience find, even by the conversation with one of these - that is in the city of its own birth - the interpretations of those experiences and periods that brought about the determinations to cry out, as it did, that brought material or physical extinction - and bore in its activity the very same influences and forces that were upon the minds of many by Calvary.

54. For as the entity reasoned with the Essenes, as well as conversed with the Wise Men who came with the new messages to the world, the entity proclaimed - yea, that pronouncement that He Himself then being announced had given - "Others may do as they may, but as for me and my house, we will serve the living God."

55. Do not interpret this to mean those who may be in thine own physical household. Thy house is indeed thy body, - THAT is the temple of the living God. THAT is the whole house made to conform to the will, the way. "He that loves me keeps my commandments," in body, in mind, in soul.

56. Through the experience the entity gained, the entity lost; yet those very happenings of that land were written by the entity - as to how there were the longings in the hearts of those peoples, especially from the days of the return to the Holy Land, through the provisions of those forces that were as in answer to a law, "If ye call, I will hear, saith the Lord of hosts."

57. Hence the entity wrote concerning those peoples through those periods from the prophets to the period when the announcing had been to those groups who sought for His coming. And these [her writings] were a part of the records (as destroyed by her own children) in the Alexandrian library, as well as in the 'city in the hills and the plains.' [Indo-China; Persia life? See 2067-1, Par. 65.]

2067-1 Page 8

[GD's note: Her own writings, based on the Alexandrian library, were destroyed by her own children? See 2067-7, Par. 9-A.]

58. In those things again, then, the entity may find an outlet, by the conversation with and the recording of the experiences of self in the various activities as impelled peoples of different lands, different environs. And yet, as has been before indicated, know that the message is ONE; for the Lord thy God is one, and that Jesus IS the one who was promised from that day, "...and her seed shall bruise his head."

59. In these manners may the entity in its writing, in its lecturing, in its service among its fellow men, not merely induce and persuade, but so present such as may arouse the individual souls to open their hearts to Him - who stands and knocks.

60. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, during that period when there were sore distresses being brought about by the sins of the peoples - and when Joseph was in the land.

61. There we find the entity was among the daughters of Pharaoh who ruled in that experience; coming in contact with Joseph and Joseph's interpretation of a living God.

62. This aroused in the experience of the entity, as Princess Teheru, the longing for a greater understanding, greater interpretation - as material blessings were shown. And the tendency for the entity to turn these into such became a stumbling-stone.

63. Yet, as there were those expressions of activities in which there were material blessings, there was love manifested. When there was given that understanding to the Princess as to how Joseph had made himself known to his brethren, and thus had asked Pharaoh - through the pleadings of the entity - that he might seek his father in his old age, and to his brethren give good for evil - there came another awakening to the entity in those experiences when there were such activities that the peoples brought those forces into the founding of what may indeed be called the Society of Magicians. This was founded, not for that purpose into which same has been turned, but by the offices of this entity.

64. Again, beware of that which holdeth not wholly to the spirit of the Christ, as it may be made manifest in the lives and the hearts of men everywhere.

65. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as or called Indo-China, or the land of Siam and India. [Prehistory? Contemporary with Persia, Uhjltd period? See

2067-1 Page 9

2067-1, Par. 57.]

66. There we find the entity was one in authority, one in power, in that city that must soon be unfolded to the minds - and to be interpreted by the children - of men - if there is not the greater war over same.

67. That land and those peoples were ruled the more oft by the women. Hence we find the entity was considered as the author, the mother, of those forces that became the heads of the teachings in India - those that went farther into China, and to the oriental lands. [See 2067-1, Par. 57.]

68. For the entity was a priestess of no mean estate, - physically, mentally, purposefully; though oft misinterpreted. These are the same foundations upon which the purposes, the axioms, the religions of those lands are builded. For thy whole cry then was, "The Lord is One!"

69. In the ruins there may be found much of the activities of the entity, as Tehexute. In the experience the entity materially, mentally, spiritually, gained; though in portions there was the adhering to the power in self.

70. Impel by precept and example, but not by might nor find thou faults in what others may believe. Only sow the seed of "my experience, my understanding is that HIS love made manifest among men, as shown in the carpenter of Nazareth, is ALONE the way, the truth, the light." And as same is expressed or manifested in other words, even though the teachings may have come from Siam(?), Said(?), or Brahma, they are one; so long as they are for HIM and not for self.

71. Before that the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there were those journeying into the land.

72. The entity was among those of the household of the King who determined to put into active force those influences as impelled by Ra, in those experiences.

73. Thus the entity, in the capacity of a directing hand, brought a great deal of help and aid to all of those influences which had to be reckoned with - even in the banishment of the Priest and the return of same - the establishing of schools, hospitals and the like, which were a part of the entity's experience. 0

74. And these have been and do become material manifestations to the entity in the present, of that which is the speaking or impelling force, or the test of sincerity of those who would claim to present truth in any manner.

75. The name then was She-Sheam.

76. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then,

2067-1 Page 10

and that to which it may attain, and how:

77. Who may tell the rose how to be beautiful? Who may declare to a tree how it may serve God's creatures in sheltering protection, or by activities in its natural environs?

78. Then, who may tell one who has been called into service oft? The way only may be pointed as to that in which there may be the greater impelling forces, or the answering of chords within that may bring greater resonance in an answer for the beauty of the music, or the voice as may arise from same.

79. In teaching, ministering to others in all walks of life; in writings, especially as to the impelling forces of periods - especially those just before the Master came; and those in the Indo-China, the Chinese, the Gobi land, as well as the Indian, the Egyptian. Not as comparisons, but show that as impelled the founders even of thine own land - as ye proclaimed, even as the maiden misunderstood. Ye may impel others through the picturalization of same. For the same forces impelled those who brought the greater period of development to Egypt in the Pharaoh periods, as well as in the kings of the Judean land, as well as in all the others, as well as that as must be; for "The Lord is One!"

80. Ready for questions.

81. (Q) I have been told that I got my idea of a brotherhood colony, which I expect to start, when I was a man in the temple at Smyrna. Is there any relation of this incarnation to the life I am to live now? (A) We never find the entity as a man! The hatred of men, and of men's understanding, comes from Thesea, and not from a man. We do not find the man in this entity's material understanding.

82. (Q) Can you describe the work God wants me to do in this life? (A) As indicated - the interpreting of impelling forces, as indicated in the periods just previous to the birth and the childhood of Jesus; as indicated in the preparation of God's purpose with man in Joseph's being sold into Egypt, not only as a means for the preservation of a people but - as has ever been - for the preservation of the records of man's activity through his whole sojourn in the earth. 1 These are channels - in writing, in teaching, in lecturing, in manners and ways that are the offices of the fields as just indicated, through which such interpretation may be

2067-1 Page 11

done.

83. (Q) Will the founding of a colony in America, and one in Europe, also be part of the work? (A) We do not find same as a success. This should be an INDIVIDUAL thing, not the colony or organization that becomes JUST that such as destroyed thy abilities in America, in Palestine!

84. (Q) Will I meet my mate in this incarnation? (A) This should be secondary, and not first matters, to the applying of self in God's ways, God's purposes. Others are brought into their relationships as they are needed. As ye may interpret in thine own experience, there was lack of a love in thy earthly experience - in this material plane - which brought that seeking for a knowledge of something that was only answered in pouring out of self to others who had lost hope. Then, in those expressions of indifference - as ye have found in reference to those in thy own experience, of those in thy own life, that took away from thee the hope that ye sought in thy earthly self - others are brought in their proper relationship, their proper sphere of activity for greater awakening. They each have come step by step. For, while there is physical evolution, there is also soul growth, not an evolution, but an awareness in material things.

85. (Q) Can you tell me what relation my former husband was to me in another incarnation? (A) A dipper in the experience before this; attracted to, and repelled also. In the Palestine or Promised land, a guard or a protector in the household of the companion at that time.

86. (Q) My daughter, [...]? (A) An associate, in the Egyptian experience - in the early portion of same, as well as a companion, but more in the form of a servant than as a bosom companion. Also in the experiences through the 'city in the hills,' or in the Indo-China land, as it is called.

87. (Q) My son, [W...]? (A) We do not find an association in the material plane.

88. (Q) My son, [M...]? (A) Here we find close associations through the Palestine 2 experience, for he was among the children who came under the care of the entity - by the edict of Herod.

2067-1 Page 12

89. (Q) Why do they not seem to understand me, or the things for which I stand? (A) Interpret this in the light of their comparisons, especially as to their activities in those same experiences; or draw upon thine own imagination as to their relationships - and this may be seen. Be not disheartened. Sow the seed. God will give the increase.

90. (Q) What part does the little daughter who was a miscarriage, whom they call Marcella, play in my present life? and what was her former relationship to me? (A) She was a might and a power in those experiences especially in Egypt; and prayer, meditation, guidance is oft an impelling influence from same. But SHE needs more of yours than you do of hers! Give it!

91. (Q) Can you tell me my own mother's former relationship to me and the part she plays in my present life? (A) She was among the children thy husband beheaded; for she was a relationship of the Master.

92. (Q) What was Dr. Laxton's former relationship to me, and what part does he play in my present life? (A) We haven't Dr. Laxton.

93. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file opy to Self " " Ass'n file
