Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Conn.
1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2084].
3. As we find, conditions in the main are developing very normally.
4. To be sure, there are those inclinations and tendencies for the upsetting in the activity and functioning of the kidneys. However, these are developing somewhat better under the activities of the diet and those other influences suggested in the disturbing condition.
5. We would in the present change a little of those things indicated for the body, because of certain disturbances. While they are a portion of the general inclinations, they are gradually becoming more specific in their nature and need some corrective measures.
6. That activity then of the diet AND the general conditions we would keep.
7. But now we would have those specific adjustments made by one in sympathy with the suggestions as may be here given.
8. The continued disturbance in the general eliminations causes at times a rash over the body, especially along the areas about the vegetative center on the cerebrospinal system.
9. Then the menstrual periods become more and more disturbing.
10. All of the trouble that exists should be taken into consideration, and then stimulate better eliminations - not stimulating the activity of organs but setting up better drainages from the areas of the lower cervicals and the upper dorsals and through the sacral, lumbar and lower dorsal areas. Do this very gently, not to stimulate the drainage from the kidneys proper; but those activities to stimulate better alimentary canal drainage would be well.
11. Such osteopathic adjustments we would have made twice a

week for five weeks, then have a rest period from them for a period of three weeks, and then have them once a week for a period of five to six weeks.
12. THEN we would give further instructions from here, as to conditions and corrections to be made.
13. Let these osteopathic treatments be made by Dobbins, or under his direction, and give him the first indications through these sources.
14. Do that, then, now.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) Has there been further improvement in her condition since the last reading? (A) Just as has been indicated.
17. (Q) Should the same dosage of Atomidine (1 drop weekly) be continued? (A) Not more than this. This will especially be beneficial if there will be made the osteopathic stimulations as indicated.
18. (Q) In addition to the occasional use of Petrolagar (plain), should Konsyl be used - as an aid to mild constipation with which she is still troubled? (A) This is very well; but as we find only the Petrolagar will be needed when the better drainages are set up osteopathically.
19. (Q) What is the best way to keep a supply of the Jerusalem Artichoke which she uses? (A) Keep them in soil!
20. (Q) What is causing the irregularity of menstrual flow, and usually quite delayed? (A) The general disturbance in the eliminations. Thus the needs of stimulating, osteopathically, the position and relative reaction of the glandular forces and the eliminating forces of the body.
21. (Q) Is the delay in straightening her teeth injurious to her in any way? (A) Only that it will be harder, of course, as time goes on.
22. (Q) What causes the occasional pains and "queer feelings", sometimes in hips, sometimes in stomach and abdomen, and sometimes roving in nature? What should be done for them? (A) These come from lack of coordination in the eliminating systems. Thus the needs of those stimulations of drainages in the areas indicated.
23. (Q) Should she rest or lie down when they appear? (A) Do not give way too easily to them. Unless these are severe, pass them off as easily as possible.

24. (Q) Should she or should she not at her age be informed as to the nature of her trouble and its potential seriousness? (A) In the next series of suggestions that may be made, ask this again.
25. (Q) Barring, of course, any sudden alarming development, when should further information be sought through this channel? (A) It has been indicated as to the periods when we would give further instructions.
26. We are through with this reading. [See GD's note below.] Two copies to Mr. [2841] (one for Dr. Frank Dobbins, 551 Copy to Ass'n file Fifth Ave., N.Y.C.) (GD's note: If you have a chance, please phone or get in touch with our very dear friends - and members of the Association - Mr. and Mrs. Douglas T. Johnston, Ridge Acres, Darien, Conn. Perhaps you could ride over together some evening to see us while we are in Scarsdale. They have two daughters, I think somewhere near your [2084]'s age. Also show Dr. Dobbins a copy of the first reading.)
