Time of Reading 10:50 to 11:00 A.M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. ..., Conn.
1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, and the causes of same; with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, the conditions in the present have been rather acute. There are some improvements this morning.
4. Still there is the reflection of the disturbances from, or caused by, general upset - and the kidneys reacting to same; this causing the temperature.
5. We need only, as we find, to take those precautions indicated - and to keep up the osteopathic adjustments (for this has been a part of the disturbance), to keep the coordinating between the liver and kidneys as related to the general condition; as well as those upsetting conditions that have occurred at periods.
6. This is a source of the disturbance in the present, as well as the natural tenderness from the reflexes in kidney area.
7. With the osteopathic manipulations, we would also give once each week, preferably on Thursdays - as this is the cycle of the body for such activities, two ounces of Watermelon Seed Tea prepared in this manner: Crush or grind a teaspoonful of Watermelon Seed and put them in a crock or glass or cup. Pour over same two ounces of boiling water. Let stand until cool, keeping covered - of course - so as to make a tea. There is sufficient of the nitre and other properties in this that if drunk it will be beneficial to clearing up the inflammation through the areas not only of the kidneys and bladder but will also aid in the ovarian disturbance.
8. If there is pain (but not unless there is), apply (unless there is very high fever) cool or cold applications (but not ice) across the abdomen, and HOT applications across the small of the back.

9. Do these, and with the general precautions, we should find relief for this body.
10. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) What are the conditions in the light of last information through this channel? (A) As indicated, this is rather an acute upset; being a combination of something upsetting in the digestive system and a reflex disturbance both of kidneys AND ovaries - but more in the kidneys.
12. (Q) How about her eyes? (A) The correction in the glasses - we find that the body will have to be accustomed, rather, to these. For, naturally the body, with the acute conditions and disturbances, reacts to flexes. These as we find are very well adjusted in the present.
13. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be given? (A) About once in ten days, unless other disturbances arise; or take one a week for two weeks, and then get farther apart, see?
14. We are through with this Reading. Two copies to Father (one for Dr. Dobbins) Copy to Ass'n file
