Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief for this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2085].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which have prevented and do prevent a better or nearer normal physical functioning. These as we find are rather a complication of disturbances, yet their effects have gradually grown to be more aggravating through the eliminating system - or alimentary canal.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2085] we are speaking of:

5. In the blood supply we find those conditions which indicate a disturbance in the assimilating system. Thus there is a form of a glandular disturbance throughout the system, and at times great changes are shown in the manner in which the assimilations take place.

6. These conditions arise primarily, as we find, from the attempts of the system to meet the needs of conditions produced by subluxations that have hindered the glands of assimilation, as to receiving their full impulse from the nerve forces, or nerve systems.

7. Thus there has gradually grown something of an irritation, which comes and goes, between the sympathetic or vegetative nerve system AND the cerebrospinal. And the effect is seen upon the activity of the liver, as related to the excretory functionings - as well as upon the pancreas and the spleen in their supplying of energies to aid in the assimilating forces.

8. These conditions are also indicated in the blood supply, though these would not show other than positive or negative forces dependent upon the period when tests would be made.

9. Also there has been produced a condition through the jejunum, as well as the colon itself - a tendency towards a

2085-1 Page 2

chronic colitis, or inflammation to the membranes, or the LYMPH as it functions through these portions of the system.

10. Hence we find this complication of disturbances which cause the greater disorders with this body.

11. In the nerve system, as indicated, we find the subluxations existing in the upper dorsals, or from the 4th to the 1st dorsal, sympathetically in the 9th - or the lower portion of the dorsal area, and throughout the cervicals.

12. Hence we would have corrections of these through mechanical adjustments, osteopathically administered. These should be given twice each week until at least sixteen or eighteen have been taken - until there is an elimination of those subluxations and a stimulating to activity all of the organs of assimilation.

13. When beginning with the adjustments, begin also with a compound, which would be prepared in this manner:

14. To 2 ounces of Distilled Water add a tablespoonful of Pure Honey (not synthetic, but pure honey). Let this come to a boil, skimming off the dross or sediment as it rises to the top. Then add to this 1/4 ounce of Grain Alcohol. Then add, IN THE ORDER NAMED: Elixir (or fusion) of Wild Ginseng..........1/4 ounce, Wild Ginger (essence or fusion).............1/4 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia......................1/4 ounce, Elixir of Lactated Pepsin...................1/4 ounce. The dose would be half a teaspoonful in half a glass of water twice each day - morning and evening.

15. This compound taken internally as a stimulant to the activities through the alimentary canal, with the osteopathic corrections given, will gradually make for not only the correcting of the condition but the eliminating of the causes of same; and thus bring about a near normal or equal balance in the functioning of the organs, as well as the glandular forces, and clearing gradually the disturbance wherein the activities through the whole of the alimentary canal may be eliminated and eradicated entirely from the system.

16. In the diets, keep away from meats. Only fish or fowl may be taken, and these never fried. NO FRIED FOODS OF ANY KIND. Take rather the body-building and strength-giving foods, - especially a great deal of fruits, fruit juices - including citrus fruit juices, of course. Combine a little lemon with the orange juice. Plenty of prunes, prune whip. Plenty of pineapple and the like. All of these would be the

principals, though not all of the diet. Refrain from a great deal of pastries. Malted milks and those of such natures may be in the diet. Not too much of candies or sweets, though occasionally milk in chocolate or cocoa or the like may be taken.

17. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) Why, after becoming fatigued physically or mentally, does there arise a fear of going to sleep? (A) As indicated, this is the effect of the incoordination between the impulses through the cerebrospinal nerve forces and those of the sympathetic or imaginative or impulse system. The relaxing of these osteopathically, in those areas indicated, should make for easier rest and for resuscitating forces following same. Do as has been outlined.

19. (Q) Do I need some particular mineral or vitamin? (A) As has been indicated - these are included in that indicated.

20. We are through for the present.
