1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions that may be asked.
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2090].
3. The records as we find indicate an entity of unusual possibilities and probabilities. As to whether or not the entity in the present uses these for developments or retardments, towards filling those purposes for which each soul enters a material experience, depends upon the application of the urges that we find indicated.
4. In giving the interpretation of the records, we find that the material sojourns tend to overshadow the astrological sojourns.
5. Hence we will find that the activities of the entity in material sojourns, through the experiences, have - by its choice - changed the probabilities. Thus, though we find one inclined to seek and to feel a great deal of spirituality, this is and has been often subjugated - to attain material positions. These have been both pro and con.
6. And in the present the direction which the entity chooses will govern the experience, as to whether it may be said to be a growth or a retardment.
7. For, the purposes of each sojourn are that the soul may become aware of its concept of the Creative Force or God,
2090-1 Page 2
and thus manifest same in its associations and dealings with its fellowman.
8. As to the urges that might be said to arise from the many sojourns in the earth, of quite varied surroundings or environs, we find these latent and manifested:
9. One who has determined within itself to exceed or excel in having the material blessings, or material environs that are of ease and pleasure; and will through this experience be in that position where much of this world's goods will be within the grasp of the entity.
10. As to whether these are used as stepping-stones for showing of appreciation, and the application of self in respect to its affiliation and association with its fellowman, for blessings or for stumbling-stones, will depend upon choices which will and are to be made by the entity.
11. The entity might have used, and may yet use its abilities in a dramatic sense to give a great deal of understanding and pleasure, and find within self an outlet for a great deal of the entity's abilities.
12. We find that the entity is an excellent conversationalist, and becomes naturally the center of any group with which the entity may associate itself. As to whether this is turned into the opportunity for self-indulgence, or used as a means of glorification of the Creative Forces, again depends upon the entity's choice in such.
13. Not that these are given as faults, nor may they be said to be excellent virtues - save as they are applied in its dealings with its fellowman. Rather, it may be said that the entity, through the sojourns, is one that is favored by the powers or forces that be, for the period of this experience - in that there are the opportunities for a great development.
14. The fields of music and art are of interest. As to whether these become helpful or retarding influences depends much upon the application of self, as to the rigid practice necessary.
15. As the writer we find the entity may use its abilities, - especially in dramatic and poetic natures.
16. The astrological influences we find rather nil - yet Jupiter, Venus and Uranus are those activities especially influencing in this season - for opportunities in the field of these - through the next six months - will be the more prominent in the experience of the entity than they will again in some several years, and not again during this sojourn in such a concise or definite way and manner.
2090-1 Page 3
17. But temper the urges ever by the spiritual truths. For, without the spirit of truth, of sincerity, of virtue, of love in the experience, the opportunities in material blessings - that are so above the ordinary in the experience of this entity - may become shells that will mock the shadows through the declining years in this sojourn.
18. In the astrological aspects we find from Venus the beauty in the abilities, and the possibilities of fulfilling much of the longings that have been a part of the dreams through this experience.
19. From Jupiter we find the possibilities and probabilities of the activities coming under the directions in which greater activities for greater numbers of individuals, or groups or masses, may be the outlet.
20. In the Uranian influences we find the EXTREMES that are in the experience, especially in those urges which are latent and manifested in the activities indicated through Venus and Jupiter.
21. As to the appearances in the earth, these - as indicated - have been most outstanding, and thus more of the emotional urges arise from the very sojourns.
22. Before this we find the entity was as Martha Moncrieffe, daughter of a British major during and before the Revolution; though the entity sojourned in the land of the present nativity; and associated with many who were in high places in the developing activities in the land.
23. During the experience there were good and there were bad influences, yet the eventual choices of the entity, in its choice of a mate - one Coughlin [?] - brought greater advancements during that particular sojourn. Though affiliated or associated with those in high places, the entity kept itself in that way in which great good from the activities of the entity - in the experiences of many in high and low places - became the outcome of the entity's associations.
24. From that sojourn we find those determinations in the present to exceed, or to be in places of prominence among those well spoken of. These are well if allowed not to become stumbling blocks, rather than steppingstones for fulfilling that purpose for which each soul enters a material experience.
25. Before that the entity was in the Grecian land, during those periods when there were the first attempts to portray activities which brought about a development of the opera - or the dramatic arts.
26. The entity was among those chosen for the carrying on, because of its abilities not only as a danseuse but as a
2090-1 Page 4
dramatic art actress. In the experience the entity made for helpful influences that brought greater consideration of the possibilities of dramatics.
27. Then the name was Cersce.
28. In the present from that sojourn we find the abilities as a conversationalist, as a good storyteller, as a good fellow well met, as one that may keep whatever group in which the entity may be associated not only interested but hanging on the words of the entity.
29. Again, as to whether these are to become developing forces or retarding depends upon the use of same - as to whether it is of a constructive or selfish, self-centered nature.
30. Before that we find the entity was in the Arabian-Persian land, during those experiences when there was the establishing of those activities in the "city in the hills and the plains."
31. There the entity was the companion of one of the leaders who aided in bringing about the centralized and localized activities in the endeavors to use the commercial activities of the land, as well as the social, the spiritual, the healing, as well as all forms of social activities.
32. The entity gained and lost; gained so long as it kept to those tenets and truths which were set forth by the companion during that sojourn. When choosing to become closely affiliated with those who came from the Grecian land, who attempted to extort the Persian activities, the entity brought destructive forces into the experience.
33. Hence again in the present there will be the opportunities that may appear for the moment to be MATERIALLY gratifying; but remember, there are ways which seem right to a man, but the end thereof is death; meaning that it may be sweet in the beginning, but bitter and husky in the end.
34. Before that the entity was in the Atlantean land, when there were the activities which brought about the necessity of the separating, and the exodus of the peoples from the land, owing to those destructive forces brought about by the children of Belial.
35. The entity was among those who chose rather to be known among the sons of the Law of One, yet of the households of those in authority among the sons of Belial. These brought disturbing forces, yet the entity was among those who sojourned first in the land of the Pyrenees, and later in the Egyptian land - as there was the developing of the ideas and the coalition of activities of the priest of the children of the Law of One with Ra-Ta in the Egyptian
2090-1 Page 5
development.
36. Hence again we find the greater abilities through those periods was in aiding the development for the propagation of those tenets and truths.
37. The name then was Shu-lom.
38. As to the abilities of the entity in the present - as indicated, these rather depend upon what the entity sets its ideal, or that toward which it sets its heart or mind, or purposes. There are the abilities to carry on, yet those fields of activity as indicated are the channels through which greater peace of mind may come; or the directions in which there may be the greater broadening of the abilities. Choose thou.
39. Know, as it was given in the days of old, today, now, there is set before thee good and evil, life and death. Choose thou.
40. So long as the intent and purposes, the real desires of the heart are prompted by the spiritual truths latent and manifested within, ye may carry on and grow in grace, in knowledge, in understanding. For the law of the Lord is perfect, it converteth the soul - if ye will but listen, harken, to those promptings as Martha Moncrieffe, as Cersce, and as Shu-lom. Listen not to those temptations of material nature only, without the thought of others.
41. Keep the faith that has prompted thee so oft.
