1. GC: You will have before you the life existence in the earth plane of [2091], born April 2, 1885, in Omaha, Nebraska, and the earthly existence of this entity in the Persian period as the offspring of Uhjltd. You will give a biographical life of the entity in that day and plane of earthly existence, from entrance - and how - into the earth's plane, and the entity's departure, giving the development or retarding points in such an existence, and the effect upon the present entity's life and work. You will give further details of the entity's work as an offspring of Uhjltd, including his relationship to others now living, and state in what respect this work in Persia plays into his present incarnation. You will then answer the questions, as I ask them, concerning the entity's associations in this and other periods, and advise how he may make more practical application of his abilities in the present for the good of humanity.
2. EC: Yes, we are given - again - the records of that entity now known as [2091], and especially those activities through the sojourn in the Persian experience - as the offspring of Uhjltd.
3. In interpreting the records as we find them, this would be rather to give a history of the activities in the 'city in the hills and plains' during the middle and latter portion of the experience of Uhjltd, the teacher or leader. Also it would be to give the after effects of those divisions that arose from the invasion of and disturbances with the Grecian peoples - from which some associates or friends in the present are an opportunity, or problem, in such phases of the activities of the entity now known as [2091].
4. Then, to give the biographical outline - here we find Uhjltd with the companion (and companions later), that made for this beginning of activities, with the varied experiences in dealing with those groups that journeyed that
2091-2 Page 2
way between the countries.
5. The beginning of the entity's activity was during those periods when there had just been the completing of the negotiations with the varied nomad tribes, of which Uhjltd had been a leader - or an offspring of that united tribe for a purpose; and then the turmoils with the Persian king - these having been near to completion, by the activities of the warlike nature of the individuals in Uhjltd's former associations.
6. Now more of the commercial nature was the environ, or that in which there was sought more the healings or spiritual welfare. It was into this environment that the entity came, as the son of Uhjltd and that companion who had been and was the saving grace, or the one responsible for the saving of Uhjltd from those disturbing influences during that healing.
7. These then brought the opportunities for this entity, Uhjndt [?] [Ujndt] [See 2091-1] to see and be a part of that development; in which - as indicated - that 'city in the hills and the plains' grew from a mere stopping place for the caravans from the east to the west, or from Egypt to Persia, India, and what is now the Mongoloid and Indo-China land.
8. Hence it gradually became a place of exchange, or as a commercial center, as well as a religious center - as would be termed today, or a place where the healings of many of those afflicted - in various lands - took place.
9. This brought for the entity in the early period a confusion, yet with the changes wrought there gradually came to be more and more the responsibilities put upon the entity - not merely by the circumstance but the import of the entity then; being that one to whom many came, more and more, for their association and activities with the varied groups.
10. Thus grew that which is a basic principle in the latent and manifested urge of the entity in the present experience, - as to not only the abilities of land areas to be made to produce, but their privilege, and that the opportunity for such should be a part of the activity of those who dwell on or reside in such areas.
11. For, as the universality of body, mind and soul were the considerations, so were the activities of areas, lands, vegetation, minerals, properties as the product of nature or the soil, to be made and to become a part of this composite experience of the mental, the spiritual, the material developments - as the entity took hold on same.
12. In the latter part of Uhjltd's sojourn in that
2091-2 Page 3
particular period of activity, the entity then - Uhjntd [?] - having reached manhood - at the age of thirty-one years, as would be termed today, had to cope with the activities just beginning from the Grecian land - first the attempts of the Grecians to use the groups of girls, or women, as a means to undermine those activities in the 'city in the hills and the plains,' by their form or manner of entertainment and associations.
13. From those attempts grew those differences of the entity with the associate or companion, or brother, Zend, as to the spiritual and the material activities.
14. Thus gradually there grew a division from those disturbances, during the latter days of Uhjltd, so that - as would be described in present day parlance - one held to the theory [Zend] that only spiritual passiveness should be the activity of man; the other [Uhjndt?] held that there should be the practical application of spiritual, mental AND material needs to meet the law of the nature of man - or natural sources.
15. These divisions gradually grew so that there became adherents to each group; not only in the city or land about the 'city in the hills and the plains' but from other groups that were gradually fostered from the teachings in other lands - the Egyptian, portions of Northern Persia, the Indian, the land of On or the Mongoloid, also Tau [?] - as in the Indo-China land. All of these played or had their part in producing the divisions that EVENTUALLY brought the undermining of those who held to the principles of the one, and to the purposes and principles of the other.
16. The entity then, Uhjndt [?] [Ujndt], held to the belief that the spiritual influences were to be a practical application in the mental and the material life, and that they were to be a part of EVERY individual, as individuals, and in the same manner in principle applied to the associates of ANY individual, in dealing with influences or forces from without - that is, the SAME principles applied in the manner necessary to deal with influences from without; as in the attempted invasion, which later became - as would be termed - a military expedition from Greece.
17. There the entity desired to defend, and to make for that activity necessary - not of a warlike nature but of a spiritual, mental AND material defense against same.
18. On the other hand, the groups of Zend (later known as the Zoroastrian groups) pushed on away from same.
19. Thus we find the entity holding to those principles that had been demonstrated in the manner in which the groups of maidens were sent first as the undermining influence, so
2091-2 Page 4
that these in the most part were made to become a determining factor for good.
20. So did the entity in those abilities as the leader, as the director of the activities, turn the earlier portion of such attempted invasions to good; and not as an appeasement for the departure from principles, as would be termed today, but the ability to coordinate physical, mental and spiritual AS the principles had been handed from the teachings of Uhjltd.
21. During the early periods of those questionings, and just at the period of the departure of Zend and the groups with same, the passing of Uhjltd made a great change in the activities of the entity. For, there were those periods of adjustment from the counseling, and of those activities the duties, the obligations of which, and the opportunities of leadership resolved upon the entity.
22. These brought a period of deep responsibility, reflected in the present entity through its sincerities of purpose, in the selflessness that is as a basic purpose of the entity; which may not be too highly spoken of. Yet this very selflessness may at times be so out of accord as to become questioned by others in the present. This should not, as in that experience, deter the entity in any manner, but should rather make for the abilities to reason with, to make the approaches to varied groups or individuals from other phases or angles of opportunities offered to each in the immediate or in the forthcoming activities, in which each may be interested.
23. Through those activities of the entity, then, there arose the abilities in the choice of, in the tentative activities of nature, nature's storehouse, the production from lands otherwise and oft called barren lands. By the choice of the entity there was made an oasis in an otherwise non-productive soil.
24. Interest in lands, then, becomes an innate and a manifested urge of the entity in the present; as also minerals, as well as combinations of the elements of the air upon vegetation in varied degrees of its progress, in its development of products for the sustenance of man.
25. Hence we find the abilities to produce foods with the chemical and mineral balance necessary for the physical AND mental sustenance of the individual, are a part of the entity's innate and manifested experience in the present.
26. Thus, as indicated, the abilities of the entity in making applicable in the present experience those directions for groups, directions for individuals' activities in such fields; as well as the ability to instruct by writing, by
2091-2 Page 5
instruction, by counsel in such activities.
27. These, as we find, should be the outlet for the entity in the present.
28. Ready for questions.
29. (Q) Are there any historical records of my activity as Silas Trent in my previous incarnation? (A) There are - among the archives of the present country - mentions of the activities of Silas Trent. These may be found among the archives of records in the country around where the activities were during that particular period. Some are as hearsay, others are matters of record.
30. (Q) Are there further details about my incarnation in Egypt, the further knowledge of which would be helpful in this incarnation? (A) As we find, the greater stress for the entity should be laid upon the activities in the Persian experience, as there is more of the group association in the present from that particular sojourn. Most of those who are the closer attracted to, or closer bound with the entity in the proposed projects, were associated in one form or another with the entity through the Persian experience. And there the entity was more active in its mental, its spiritual development, as applied to material projections. True, many associations are also of the Egyptian period, but they do not have such an import or bearing on the activities of the entity. For, in Egypt - as has been indicated - the entity was rather of the passive nature or influence; while in the Persian period, from which the greater associations are also found in the present, the entity was the more active. The term would be - progressive, determined, and for a purpose, for an ideal. In the Egyptian experience the conditions were accepted. In the Persian period they were made daily applicable, practical - as indicated in the entity's manner of dealing with internal as well as external influences brought to bear to dissuade groups and masses from those things that had become principles of the entity in that experience.
31. (Q) Am I to assume that I was not otherwise incarnated except in the three incarnations given in my Life Reading? (A) No. There were others, but these as indicated are the influences bearing upon purposes, ideals of the entity in this particular period of its present sojourn. To
2091-2 Page 6
illustrate, or to give the symbolism, the meaning of varied experiences of an entity: For this particular entity there were those experiences as the navigator, there were those experiences as the shepherd, those experiences as followers in other periods. These have been applied, have been active as a part of the early experience in this sojourn. Yet these are merely those influences that have been used, applied, grown out of. Hence they do not particularly apply in the present. Just as has been here indicated - In the Egyptian experience, not that the entity didn't have as great abilities as in the Persian period, nor even greater; but he was passive, inactive, accepting. Thus, as the comparison has been drawn for the entity, in the Persian period there was the activity which has the greater bearing, the greater direction in the present; while in the other there is shown what the entity should NOT be, and in this what the entity SHOULD be.
32. (Q) What helpful suggestions can be made about my writings on the social question? (A) As indicated here and heretofore, these should be a part of the entity's outlet, the entity's way or manner of expression. For, as varied periods of development come in the realm of material expression or manifestation of an entity or soul in the earth, there come about the varied manners and means for reaching greater numbers. For, as has so oft been given to a soul's activity in the earth - first to the individual, then to the classes, then to the masses. These are the three stages of an entity's experience or manifestations in material associations. So for this entity, in relationship to the writing: Delve into same, not merely as a means for other than giving hope, giving expression, giving activities for groups and masses of people. Get THEIR reaction. For, that which has proven to be of help to self will, if expressed, be of help to others. Try that ye propound upon thine own conscious association, thine own conscious dealing with thy fellow man. Know, as may be interpreted in this manner, this is as a shadow, as a means or way of interpreting that as will or does affect others from the varied viewpoints. Every principle, every definite activity has its associating spiritual influence, as the entity so WELL held to - in defiance to one who became a religious zealot in the Persian experience.
2091-2 Page 7
So in the present activity, know that ye proclaim, that ye declaim. That ye announce carries with same its influence, its spirit of influence, that is reflected in the unseen as well as in the material world. Then, that proclaimed must be basically truth, in spiritual as well as in its material import. So indeed is that true which has so oft been given, and yet seldom interpreted to its full or complete meaning - only in a material shadow is it so oft classified: With what measure ye mete, it is measured to thee again. The seed ye sow bears its fruit. Or with what spirit, with what import, with what declaration thy tenets or truths are proclaimed as being signs symbols, directions worthy of study, worthy of meditating upon by thy fellow man, with what spirit such are given there will be brought fruit worthy of acceptation. In that manner, then, should the entity study, should the entity apply those truths as may be imparted in the writing. Test same in thine own consciousness; not merely as something that is ideal in the mental field, but as ye so well applied in Uhjndt [?] [Ujndt] - the practical everyday, even now, import for good.
33. (Q) What has been my relationship to [2246] and [...] [his adopted son] in former incarnations? (A) [2246] was a part of the Grecian experience that the entity dealt with. Hence in the present, at times the associations become problems. Yet there needs be due consideration in the light of, in the study of the principles and manners in which the entity dealt with the purposes and aims of [2246] in the Persian-Grecian (as would be termed in the present day parlance) "run-in." So apply those principles, for these were the associations ye are meeting in the present.
34. (Q) [...] [his adopted son]? (A) These were as one, or a unison of activity in that same experience though [...] - as known today - was apparently much more easily changed, but, deeper, closer set.
35. (Q) What advice can be given about my business engagements or search for oil? (A) As we find, the activities here indicate that - for the greater consideration of all - there needs to be a bit of concession, yes, but the acceptance of same; for these would ASSURE the search in those particular areas (that is a part of the experience with many) being a fact.
36. (Q) Is there any other advice you can give that would
2091-2 Page 8
be helpful to me or to others connected with me? (A) There might be much given as respecting the activities, the principles, the purposes that were the directing influences in the entity's experience through the Persian sojourn. For, this has only been a skit or sketch, a background in which the entity may enter for consideration. Making practical application of the tenets and purposes indicated, to be sure must be the entity's own purpose. Thus it may be given again - study to show thyself approved unto thy ideal, rightly dividing the words of truth, putting the stress on same in their proper relationships one to another; keeping self from self's own condemnation, and from condemnation of others.
