Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2094]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there are changes in the general reactions through the system, though there is little that is of a worse disturbance than we have had here before.
4. We find that the sources of the disturbance rest with the assimilating system, in the abilities of the system's activity through the glandular secretions to give that activity to the nerve plasm and the reactions to same that supply the needed energies.
5. These cause the disturbance; with the activities that are produced BY such in the functioning, and with the applications that have been made at times.
6. Also we find the inability for the activities, and the contraction in nerve and muscular forces, and the conditions arising at various periods of the incoordinations in the activity through the nerve forces themselves of the body.
7. These, as we find, are the sources or the causes.
8. The affectations especially in the pancreas, as related to that activity through the system, and as related to the digestive force - in the stomach itself as well as the gastric flows there, are also a part of the disturbance; owing to those inabilities of the system to create that influence which PRODUCES those elements which carry the energies to the nerve forces and activities of the body.
9. These are at times contradictory in their reactions, as indicated by the very nature of the conditions existent in the system.
10. As we find, in the present, it would be better to use the low electrical forces of the Wet Cell Appliance (rather
2094-2 Page 2
than the Radio-Active as we suggested before), that would carry to the system vibratorially the properties of Gold for stimulating the glandular activity in relation to the nerve reflexes. We find that these would be the more helpful influences in the present. These we would use in the regular low form, with the attachments made in this manner:
11. The small copper plate would be attached to the 9th dorsal plexus, while the larger nickel plate - through which the vibration of the Gold Solution passes (in the proportions of one grain Chloride of Gold to each ounce of Distilled Water) - would be attached to the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus, which would be three fingers from the navel center toward the right side of the body. Make these attachments for thirty minutes each day. Change the Gold Solution every fifteen days, and recharge the Appliance solution every thirty days.
12. This used in this manner will gradually, slowly but gradually, aid in a better activity through the body; giving more strength because of the assimilating system being stimulated and because of the assistance in keeping the system relaxed as it rests.
13. This we would do.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) Please give in detail a discussion of basic cause of the physical disturbances in the body. (A) As just indicated, this is the lack of the assimilating system to take from the properties digested in the system sufficient of the energies necessary for the supplying of the white tissue resuscitation in nerve plasm itself. This activity upon the system is the basic cause of the conditions that exist. The organs involved, as we have indicated, are those that aid in the assimilating and eliminating forces of the system.
16. (Q) Explain what relation the lungs have to the source of infection? (A) Only the relation to the purification of the blood supply, that is not charged with those characters of plasm necessary; which as we have indicated are lacking owing to the inability of the system to take same from that digested or assimilated.
17. (Q) Is it a matter of not breathing sufficiently, or not the right kind of air? (A) Neither of these, though this naturally affects the system owing to the inability at times for the properties to be thrown off by the natural breathing, or the gas that
2094-2 Page 3
forms with the flow of oxidization, causing the stuffiness, or the dizziness even at times that arises from same.
18. (Q) What is the condition of the stomach? (A) As we find, and as indicated, here the gastric flows are lacking in the properties that aid in assimilating those properties attempted to be digested. The position of the stomach is a little bit low.
19. (Q) Can that be corrected by exercise? (A) This should be corrected by exercise, a part of which may be done by the mechanical (osteopathic) manipulations or adjustments that will aid in stimulating and contracting the muscular forces. True, some hold that the stomach itself is an organ attached up and down and that there CANNOT be such a thing as a tilted stomach. Yet when the nerve forces of both the pyloric and cardiac portions of the stomach are so lax, there is a tendency for tilting. Thus too easily, oft, there is the inclination for the stomach to empty WITHOUT there having been the reaction of the acids and alkalies, or the flows of the juices from both the portions of the stomach.
20. (Q) Is the lack of hydrochloric acid still prevalent? (A) The very nature or character of position, as illustrated in the X-Ray, indicates that the flow of the fluids is affected, and there is a lack of hydrochloric flow.
21. (Q) What is the condition of the intestines? (A) Naturally, from the conditions arising from the stomach and duodenum AND the jejunum in emptying themselves, there is a prolapsus caused in the lower portion of the colon, - as well as at times a dilation in the upper or transverse colon. This is the effect of gases, rather than conditions that remain. For they change as the activities of same move through the organs themselves. The gas is a part of the formation because of the lack of the gastric flow (or hydrochloric) to act upon the lactics as they enter the duodenum.
22. (Q) Is it possible to restore the muscular action of the colon? (A) If there is a better nerve flexus or nerve energy produced, then the strengthening to the depleted portions of the nerve system's activity would naturally aid. This will not be wholly restored, but there can be a great deal better condition produced, not only in the peristaltic activity but in the strengthening of the abdominal muscles.
23. (Q) What causes the heavy gas pressure?
2094-2 Page 4
(A) The activity in the cardiac portion of the stomach, with the lack of the flow of acids from the lower or pylorus portion and through the duodenum. Here we find the gases forming because of the lack of the activity UPON the system by those properties. WE would take the acid AND some calcium, in combination with the low electrical vibrations of the Gold for better assimilation, to aid in relieving this disturbance. We find that the compound known as ACIGEST, with raw milk, is better assimilated than in the capsule form or tablets. CALCIOS is an easily assimilated form of calcium. These work together (the Acigest and Calcios), not only for aiding in a better form of assimilation but for acting directly upon the NATURAL sources of supply of these to the system, without becoming habit-forming. The Acigest we would take once each day, of an evening; a little more than half a teaspoonful in a glass of RAW milk. The Calcios we would take every other day - just about sufficient to cover a small cracker.
24. (Q) Am I infected with poisons from the colon? (A) Infected with poisons from the colon, which produces a form of anemia - that is a part of the general condition as we have indicated. But as we find all of these may be expected - though we may gradually eliminate same if there will be the consistent use of those properties indicated, not only for better assimilation but for aiding to eradicate the SOURCES of poisons and to coordinate the general activity.
25. (Q) Should I attempt to take anything to change the colon content? (A) The properties indicated, with the general diet which is mostly followed by the body, will change the content, - and will change especially the area where the prolapsus occurs.
26. (Q) Should I attempt irrigations? (A) Not until those things indicated have been taken for at least three to four weeks. And then if there is still an indication of an excess of poisons, it would be well to use irrigations - provided there is used a saline solution and
2094-2 Page 5
not allowing such to weaken the body too much. As we find for this body, the correct proportions for such irrigations would be - when used: First there would be used only a quart and a half of water in which there would be stirred a tablespoonful of Alkalin Petrolagar. Let the water always be body temperature exactly. Do not give it too cool nor - above all - do not give it hot! After this has been ejected, use a second quantity of water containing a heaping teaspoonful of salt and a level teaspoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda to each quart and a half of water. Of course, to dilate the colon it will require more than two and a half or three quarts of water - but these are the proportions. Not more than a quart and a half with the Petrolagar, and then at least three or four quarts of the other.
27. (Q) Have the corrections been made properly in the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th dorsals? (A) These have been corrected in a much better manner than was indicated when we had the body here before - but those conditions existing in the 11th and 12th dorsal and the first of the lumbars need to be corrected, so there is perfect alignment. The pressures upon the sphincter muscles in those areas about the end of the spine have not been greatly helped, owing to the pressures existent from the general muscular forces of the abdominal area. But these treatments will eventually be of an aid to the body.
28. (Q) What is the condition of the 5th lumbar? (A) Fifth dorsal as we find is very good. Fifth lumbar is wide in its area - hence a sore area to movements in the body. With general nerve relaxing these areas come much nearer to being normal, but the cartilaginous forces or cushions that exist tend to respond to the nerve forces, owing to the tensions in the sphincter portion and the nerves along the coccyx area. However, with general relaxation, general stimulation through such applications suggested, we should bring better forces for this body.
29. (Q) Should the osteopath treat only those areas, or give a general treatment? (A) Those areas would be specifically treated, but coordinating all of the reflexes from same.
2094-2 Page 6
For, the one who gives the osteopathic treatments, if thoroughly acquainted with his business (though many think they are when they are not!), will find that there are centers or areas from which both the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic or vegetative nerve system form conjunctions. If specific treatments are given and there is not a coordination of those plexus or areas where the specific conjunctions are made, these may tend to contract the body rather than relax same. Hence there should be the consideration of all of these when treatments are given.
30. (Q) What causes the soreness in the abdomen? (A) The general acid condition that exists through same, owing to toxic forces from the body poisonings.
31. (Q) Give a detailed outline of the best diet for the body. (A) This is a condition as we find that is best controlled by the experience of the body; though we would include occasionally the Jerusalem artichoke. We would not change other things that the body has found and does find that under varying circumstances, in various climes or activities are helpful - for these might be found detrimental when prepared in another environ or clime. As we have oft indicated, where an individual is allergic to certain influences, vegetables, activities, or any form of foods carrying the various calories, proteins and vitamins, - it will be found that these will vary in various sections. But adjust self to those that are grown the more in the section in which the individual resides at the time - this is the preferable way, when practical. Then, for this body, use those things that the EXPERIENCE has shown the body as being best. But do include occasionally the Jerusalem artichoke, prepared in its own juice and NOT in water. Take it in the manner as we have indicated.
32. (Q) What was the Jerusalem artichoke given for? (A) An activity upon the pancreas. It carries - it is the greatest source of insulin that may be assimilated by the body.
33. (Q) Should the White's Cod Liver Oil be continued? (A) If this is assimilated by the system, very well. There will be changes necessary in the vitamin forces with the use of the Acigest and the Calcios. With these, then, there would not be indicated such a need for the Cod Liver Oil, - if these are used in the manner indicated; though if there is the feeling of greater fatigue, the cod liver oil may be
2094-2 Page 7
used again.
34. (Q) What will relieve the condition of hay fever? (A) This as we find is the inflammation of the mucous membranes as produced by the general atmospheric pressures and the conditions where certain influences act upon the mucous membranes. We find that the use of an inhalant would be helpful, which is in itself only a protection - or to prevent infection by any particles or fumes inhaled, or odors. Prepare same in this manner: To 4 ounces of Grain Alcohol, add - in the order named: Oil of Eucalyptus...............20 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp............5 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin....15 minims, Tolu in Solution................30 minims. Keep this in a container twice the size of the quantity of the solution. Shake well before inhaling. Preferably have two vents into the space above the solution. Keep both corked well. Inhale in the nostrils once or twice a day, or whenever there is irritation. It acts as an antiseptic and as a purifier, and prevents irritation from any stress upon the mucous membranes.
35. (Q) I often have a similar condition to hay fever even in the winter time. What is the cause? (A) Inflammation to mucous membranes; and the applications and the inhalant indicated will keep down such.
36. (Q) Does it come from external or internal influences? (A) As just indicated, it comes from both! At times it arises from fumes, pollen, odors. At other times it arises from the lack of air flow over the lungs, affecting the mucous membranes through which the air passes. Hence at times the throat becomes infected, as well as the mucous membranes of the nasal passages. Hence the inhalant. Do as indicated - we will find bettered conditions for this body.
