1. EC: Yes, we have the body, physically, mentally, [2095].
2. In the physical forces of the body we find there are disorders that cause distresses to the body at times. These, as we find, are both specific and contributory causes, and hence affect the body rather in the manner or way of spasmodically; or with cycles of changes the body is more susceptible to the disorders that are of the specific nature than at other periods.
3. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body:
4. First, IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY - Here we find this very good in the present, but there are evidences in same of these specific and spasmodic disorders referred to, in the form of toxins or poisons that are left or carried in the system during such periods of disorder. These, as we find, come from those especially of the alimentary canal and its contributory causes in the nerve system, and reflexes in organs affected by the disorder. These being picked up more easily by the conditions that exist in the normal system of the emunctory and lymph circulation through such portions, the plasm of the blood both in the lymph and in the regular circulation produces more sympathetic reaction - hence becomes contributory to the disorders, producing at such times nausea, headaches, heaviness in feet, achey and trembly feelings over portions of the body.
5. In the NERVOUS SYSTEM, or SYSTEMS, we find rather what may have been, must have been (from the conditions), that of the primary or first causes; for there are evidences of there having been in the lower dorsal area those of the form of lesions that made for the tendency of the DROPPING of the whole of the DIGESTIVE organism. Hence a prolapsus in the colon area (ascending) made for that which was of the nature of colitis in its form, or congestion of the muco-membrane,
2095-1 Page 2
and an indication of engorgement in the intestine itself. This produced by pressure in the solar plexus center, see - in the 10th and 11th dorsal area, or lower portion of the solar plexus center; that is, from the cerebrospinal connection - see? This, then, brought about first that tendency of the lack of impulse for peristaltic movement of fecal matter through the matter, and the clogging up of the system in the area. Following this with engorgements, or tendencies to force or produce through the lymph circulation that of an excess of matter to reduce or carry out the disorders produced a form of laziness, or slackness, in the wall of the intestines or colon itself. Hence a specific condition of two natures existed. One has been greatly relieved by the removing of the pressure in the cerebrospinal area, so that this does not occur so often; yet there are those tendencies still left in the nervous system - see? By the whole plexus, or the whole ganglia, not being fully awakened through the stimuli of impulse in the area to carry on its functioning, when overtaxation mentally, physically, or FOODS of the value that do not digest properly, producing improper fermentation. Hence the regurgitation, or the carrying into the circulation those indications as outlined.
6. In the activities of the ORGANS THEMSELVES:
7. Brain forces of the body VERY good; exceptional in the ability of separation of thought, the ability to concentrate and to MEDITATE - as it were - in a given direction. This WELL, provided there can be still kept within the consciousness, or implanted upon the subconscious or unconscious consciousness of the body, that even to the superconscious forces, that all energies of the body ARE ONE; being made up OF all that is without self and - atomic in its nature - IS, CAN be, and WILL be, affected by IMPULSES from without, as WELL as from within, and that in seeing the activities taking place WITHIN the body often by the application of MATERIAL measures add to the MATERIAL CONDITIONS WITHIN A PHYSICAL BODY! Get the differentiations and their proper relations and coordinations, and we will find these may be very effective in the system; that while there are those applications necessary that there be carried on the spiritual and mental healing within the body, yet these that are of a physical impulse must be met with physical activities originating FROM the spiritual - see?
8. There are, then, in the activities of the organs themselves, attunements that are above the ordinary; in the action of the sympathetic system do we find these the most acute, in that the abilities of the body in these directions
2095-1 Page 3
as has been outlined ENABLE the body to become rather super-sensitive, with the abilities often to see for self and for the others (the more often) those conditions as WILL, and DO, take place in the activities of individuals, whether physical OR mental; and hence the body is highly psychic in its reaction. This may be cultivated and used. USE, but PLEASE do not abuse!
9. In the organs of the throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx: At times there are those tendencies from those pressures that have existed along the cerebrospinal system, especially from those subligations or pressures that have existed in the lumbar region, to the reflex reaction in the upper dorsal and cervical regions, as these direct more to the central nerve forces and central blood supply of the body. Hence we have tickling or burning in the throat at times. These may precede, or these may follow, those of special disorders in the colon or digestive system. This is naturally, then, sympathetic - not organic, but with the corrections of the conditions for normalcy in system, we would find these would disappear.
10. Heart's action near normal, save when these depressions arise, when these may at times be subnormal and again abnormal in pulsation.
11. Digestive system rather that that may be termed NERVOUS indigestion, occurs at times. The body should never EAT when excited, and especially never when mad; for these, with such a sympathetic condition, will produce disorders that make for bad reactions in the system.
12. The liver, the spleen and pancreas function rather under the orders, as it were, of the nervous system, both as to consciously and subconsciously, or sympathetically and consciously.
13. In the removing, then, of the disorders, as we would find, from this system:
14. We would find that while there are the greater portions of the pressures removed, through those applications as have been made, these taken occasionally in the form of a thorough massage - either neuropathically or osteopathically - will keep ATTUNED the nervous forces as they DIRECT the functioning OF the system.
15. We would keep those exercises, and ESPECIALLY those that tend to raise the abdomen and portions of the system upward; which is bending forward with the feet firm on the floor - see?
16. We would also find that with the use of that effluvia as in those that will CLEANSE the colon, without distending and without removing those tendencies for activity of the
2095-1 Page 4
muscles of same, or the peristaltic movement, these would be well. Hence we will find that would the body use those of the Psyllium seeds, these would be well.
17. Also when disorders arise we would take as these:
18. Pure olive oil, very small quantities taken often, for two or three days - half to quarter teaspoonful every two hours for a couple of days, see?
19. When there are other disorders, WORK it off by exercise mentally. Keep the attunement to the spiritual forces, for it is the SPIRIT that gives life - but life in a physical functioning is of physical reaction.
20. Ready for questions.
21. (Q) How often should the Psyllium seed be taken? (A) Once a day for three or four days; then quit the same length of time, until the whole of the system is adjusted - see?
22. (Q) How often the osteopathic or massage treatment? (A) This would be taken rather when necessary. When there is a tendency of a dull headache at base of brain, or to the front of head, this would be well to be taken. Once a week, or twice a month - if THOROUGHLY done. Keep the MEDITATIONS. These we would do preferably early morning and late evening, or in the noon hour - as has been in some periods.
23. (Q) Did a treatment I had for colitis 3 or 4 years ago have a real and lasting beneficial effect? (A) As has been indicated, the greater portion has been removed; yet those tendencies that exist in and through the prolapsus in ascending colon, and those arising from those pressures as existed in the cerebrospinal system, have NOT entirely been removed. Hence the necessity of application of some PHYSICAL as well as MENTAL treatments for the body. Do that.
24. That is all the questions.
25. We are through for the present. Much may be accomplished by this body through its intuition. Copy to Self " " Cayce file " " Ass'n file
